The vets here are good, knowledgeable and have access to new technology. However this comes with a…read moreprice and they will try to sell you things that you probably don't need. For example, they told me I need to test my dog for heartworms every year... not a cheap test. My other vet said as long as she takes her medicine monthly, there is no need to test annually. The also told me she would need IV fluids, a heated table and pain meds after she was spayed. My other vet laughed and saved me $350. I was also on business in Japan when my dog got sick and they would not treat her without my consent.... which was quite an ordeal when I was half was around the world and 14 time zones away. All that being said. This is a good clinic and in an emergency is a good place, but I would not recommend for annual vaccinations, as they can be quite expensive.

We needed a vet that was close and thought this was a good choice until recently. Our dog had blood…read moredrawn last week due to frequent urination in the house (using test showed high sugar levels) Doctor suspected diabetes. They were going out of town until Monday and wanted us to wait until them to start insulin so they could get us in for an office visit to show us how to administer saline on our dog (this is Thursday) we also asked about our puppy, who had blood drawn to get spayed they following week - she has been scratching at her ear. We requested the Doctor to look at her ear while the blood was drawn and we were told no, we had to schedule a separate visit for this (this was Tuesday as well.) My husband called the Vet again and informed them that we could purchase the insulin for our dog at Walmart or Kroger, brother-in-law can show us how to administer the shot (he is a nurse - I know not a Vet tech...) and all we wanted to know was the amount to give. The Doctor relayed that we could go to (provided the location of an emergency vet) and receive a class on how to administer the insulin and they would provide the dose otherwise we would have to wait. My husband said at that point we would be switching vets. He was told OK and was then hung up on. Oh, they also wanted to charge us 450.00 to spay our puppy. We called the vet we used in Blue Ash that helped us through the rescue of one of our dogs and did everything over the phone with us. EVERYTHING with Burlington Pet Hospital was all about the MONEY....... I will gladly drive the 45 minutes to get the service that our dogs deserve and not be robbed blind in the process.....
