Taking care of 3 dogs is a big ask and Lali rose to the occassion and exceeded expectations. She sent us pictures and updates every time she stopped by while we were away. Not only did she take exceptional care of our doggos, letting them run around and play in the dog park by our place, but she gave us peace of mind knowing they were being taken well care of. Rates were cheaper than using Rover or any of those other apps and she did a meet and greet with the pups beforehand so they were able to establish trust and get to know their caretaker ahead of our trip. All but one of their reviews seem to be from several years ago, before the company changed ownership. It seems like this used to be a great company. Under the new ownership, it seems like a mismanaged company that can't be trusted -- at least for dogsitting. The dogsitter herself seems great and my two dogs really liked her. She watched my dogs at her place twice in 2023. The first time -- a short stay -- all seemed good. The second time -- a week and a half -- my dogs and all of their things (beds, leashes, toys, etc.) came back smelling disgustingly musty. It turned out that their beds were moldy! (They were not moldy before the dog sitting.) I had to bathe my dogs and wash their stuff twice to get the smell out. But I still had to throw out one of the dog beds because the mold would not come out. Luckily, my dogs haven't gotten sick from the mold (at least not yet). When I reported all this to the DoggieWalks administrator, her response was "not a problem." In addition, the billing and customer service leave a ton to be desired. Both times I used DoggieWalks, they tried to overcharge me. The first time, they sent me an invoice with an amount that made no sense. I wrote back to explain what I thought the total should be, based on their rates, and they wrote back to agree. They gave me instructions for paying by Venmo. It didn't seem like a big deal the first time. The second time, a few days went by and I had not received an invoice. I honestly wondered if they were delaying it because they were trying to figure out how much of a discount to give me due to the mold conditions. Nope -- several days after picking up my dogs, I got an email and a text from them asking me when I was going to pay the invoice that they had supposedly sent. Their email mentioned an amount but did not attach an invoice. I wrote back to say that I never got an invoice and I needed to see it before paying because the amount they mentioned seemed high. Later they emailed me not an invoice (which apparently didn't exist, despite their claims to have sent it to me), but screenshots from their system showing how much I owed. It was $120 less than the amount they had put in their email asking when I was going to pay! They didn't provide payment instructions, so I asked for them. The response was "Shoud be in your Venmo." What kind of customer service is that? Then they gave me a name that doesn't exist in Venmo (it's a person's name, not DoggieWalks). I had to write back for clarification before receiving the correct name to Venmo. The billing was finally straightened out, after 12 emails and texts back and forth, with no apologies, no explanations, no discounts offered. Use this company at your own risk...

Terrible customer service. Lack of empathy for pets and human beings…read more My dog had his first vet appointment at the Providence on Webster last month. While I spent a lot of money, I was happy to know that my dog finally got some treatment for his arthritis. Due to my schedule, they scheduled me for his monthly Librela shot at the Pacific location. I got a call today (on the day of his appointment) saying that I need a record of his vaccinations before he can get his second dosage of Liberla shot. During the first visit, they never once mentioned that I need to submit his record of vaccinations, as I don't have them. They said that according to CA law, they can't give him his Librela shot without the rabies booster, which is understandable, but I wish they would have told me that even prior to sedating him, giving him X-rays and his first dosage of Librela. Since my dog desperately needs his Librela shot today, I asked if they could comped the $37 rabies shot. They said "no". I spent $1800 on the first vet visit and his monthly Librela shot is $180. I would have never done that if I would have known about their requirements and terrible customer service. The reception stood firm on their $37 rabies shot requirement, never apologized or even empathized with my frustration. It's ridiculous how fast they take our money, then make rules and refuse to compromise because they know that our pets need the car. Very disappointing.

On the advice of a friend who is a vet in another state, I got a second opinion from Dr. Carroll. It turns out that the test done at Silverado was inaccurate and his platelets were fine. So thankful I sought a second opinion here and have since moved all vet care over to them for my very much still-alive dogs. Dr. Carroll is a wonderful and thorough vet who truly cares and goes out of his way to communicate well with you through any health challenges you may navigate.

But she wound up loving Ben and team, as well as all of the other doggos that she got to play with during her sessions. If your dog is not comfortable with other dogs, they have the option to segregate your furbaby as well. Drop-off times are usually early to mid-day. And pickups are typically closer to end of day on Saturdays due to the heavier traffic. There's limited room inside, so Ben or a member of his team will always come outside to retrieve your doggy or bring them out after their groom.
