just moved into the area so I decided to try a new place to do my alignments. while the customer service was amazing, the alignment I received was not. I received help from Moises who made me feel confident I was going to get a job done right. However he wasn't the problem. the mechanic who did my alignment didn't do a very good job. my car shakes more than it did before. I'm disappointed the mechanic wasn't committed to his work as Moises is. I will definitely not be getting alignments here anymore and probably not anything else. read more

Attention beware never leave your car in the lot unattended. Left my 1993 Honda Accord there just for an alignment took about 4 hours and when I got my car back I noticed parts were missing my glove box he was switched the back of my seat of my Honda was taking off and removed before I don't know what reason people beware when you go to the shop. Always had great service here. Been taking my cars to get serviced here since I first started driving. Being a girl it's hard to go to a mechanic without feeling I'm getting the run-around or ripped off. The service here has always been up front and I trust their work. I ONLY get my tires fixed and serviced here as well as other regular auto maintenance. Ray and Ray really helped me out while stuck just off the 91 west with a double flat. Ray was out there to replace them both extremely quickly and even brought be a drink while I waited (nice touch). AAA just dropped my car off...they have a gazillion cars in their space as well as their lot across the street...I told Eric I use my car for my job and needed it on the same day and not Monday like the first technician told me Eric said he will get back to me in one hour..I will update this review as the day goes by.....they get three stars for right now because of their great responsiveness. He was professional and efficient and asked me to come in, even though the shop would only be open a few more hours. I got there and the issue was diagnosed and repaired quickly and efficiently. I have been to Lopez tires on two different occasions. The first time I got four new tires. When I got there, Eric greeted me and he was very nice and professional. He gave me good tires for a great deal. Before I left, he informed me that I need an alignment and that if I didn't get one it would ruin my brand new tires and they wouldn't last as long. He said that he didn't have time to do it today because they were already about to close, but he promised to give me a good deal if I went back there on a different day. A few days ago I went back for the alignment. Eric was there again, and as promised, I was once again given a great deal. I was also in and out in no time. Great service and in a timely manner! I also feel like Eric didn't try to take advantage of me because sometimes when I go to other auto places I feel like they take advantage and rip you off because you're a girl on the prices and stuff. I would really like to give this establishment a 5 star rating, because they got the job done, but it took a little longer than I would have liked. It all started on 7/19/2017. I rushed out of work at 4:00pm that day, all the way from Orange. I made it to the shop around 5 and the mechanics there began to patch up the semi-flat tire I came in with. I was impressed on how courteous the staff was that I decided to go on ahead and have my rear breaks changed. Big mistake. I appreciate that the work was finished that day, but since it was near closing time the workers might have rushed with the installation of the new breaks. The breaks gave off a nails on chalkboard type of cry when in motion. I waited for this job for about an hour and a half. No big deal I thought, the warranty on the labor and breaks was paid for. I would just come in another day and have them install them properly. I came in about 2 weeks later. When I arrived, what seemed to be the proprietor of the business greeted me with a gust of air that had escaped from his compression hose which he was using to blow away trash in his lot towards the street. As I brushed the dust from my eyes, he approached me and began to ask what I needed. I explained that the breaks from my car had not been installed properly. He told me that nothing could be done today, and told me to come back tomorrow morning at 8am. When I left the shop that day it was 5:00p.m. one hour before closing time. The next morning, I was there. I showed up a little earlier and eagerly awaited for the shop to open. The proprietor said that the earlier that I come, the better. As the shop opened an employee approached me and asked if I was coming into the shop. I said yes, and he asked me to give him 10 -15 minutes to set up shop. So I did. I came back 20 minutes later. He asked me if I could give him another 5- 10 minutes. I gave him 25 minutes. When I arrived the man that kept on sending me away was gone. I then spoke to the man who blew wind in my general direction the day before. He recognized me and sent someone to work on my car. It was 9 when the work began. The reinstallation took 2 hours. When I got on to try out the car, nothing had changed. The cries from the breaks were still heard by the birds migrating south for the winter. I came back and spoke to the proprietor about the problem still being there. I admit he handled it in a professional way. Despite the fact that i snapped on him, just a little. His suggestion was spoken with a hint of a pompousness behind it. We decided that i would come in the next day at 8:45am and he would install the newly ordered breaks. I came in and was helped immediately. The process took another 2 hours and this time there was no more noise coming from the breaks. 5 and a half hours to do a rear break job. Not to mention the 4 visits. I appreciate that I was assisted throughout the process, but I don't think a job like this deserves more than 1 star. Also, throughout the entire time I was not offered a seat or even a drop of water. Despite that the weather has been on the hot side. I want to be a returning customer, but I don't think I have the patience to deal with another encounter as this one. read more

An friend of mines Miss diagnosed my car. So Lopez auto service stepped in picked up my car. The tow truck was driven by the most down to earth guy......Moses. they don't make trustworthy mechanics like they used too. i've known this shop for over 10 years, i would never take my car anywhere else. eric will work with you, help you out and find the best possible solution to repair your car in a quick inexpensive timely manner. as it is, mechanics have a reputation for ripping peope off . once you've repaired your car here, you dont feel like you've been taken advantage of. they explan everything to you in full detail. one of the best things they offer is the towing service, like in my case, it doesnt matter where my truck broken down, i would still use their tow truck to get my truck towed to their shop and then repaired. they're very understanding with the customers, and know that times are hard. that alone will earn anyone's trust. thanks eric!!!! shorty read more
