Keeping it old school. We used to go here 30 plus years ago when it was on Jefferson. It definitely was nostalgic to see it pop up in the parking lot and to be able to take our daughter there. They didn't have many people to help on the "floor" to help and they only take cash. That's the only reason why I can't go with a 5. We do like being able to support the family and that the matriarch still owns and works at the patch (at the register). Omg what a cash grab. Not a patch but a parking lot with hay on top. Every activity was an incremental $5.00. And pumpkins were exorbitant. We left without pumpkins and with sad little girl. We then went to Costco got $5.97 large pumpkin. As compared to $50-70 at the "pumpkin patch". read more

We bought our Christmas tree on November 22 (a bit earlier to lift our spirits as we have been going through some hard times!) and couldn't be happier! The owner who was a very kind man chatted with us and answered all my questions as I was worried the tree may not remain alive until Christmas which would be an issue obviously. He assured us so long as we watered it, and made sure no direct sunlight and/or any heat exposure (from the heater) then it would be fine. Our home has been cold without the heater on but very cozy with our beautiful Christmas tree. So far so good! I'll report back in the coming weeks. I do notice some leaves are falling lately but I think that's normal and we have made sure it has plenty of water. I really love supporting small businesses especially families!!! Let me start by saying this was not our first choice when my wife said she wanted a blue flocked Christmas tree but after going somewhere else and getting the run around on delivery even after we paid for the tree I'm glad we ended up here. First the customer service is great as the owner greeted us and pulled tree after tree out so we can pick the one we wanted, and he seemed glad to do it. Second we got to watch and tell the gentleman flocking the tree how heavy we wanted it flocked again this other worker seemed glad to make us happy customers. Third it's right by numerous bars and restaurants so you can make a day or night out of it. Fourth they even bag your tree so the flocking will stay intact while you drive your tree to your house. There is plenty of parking on the lot as well as free street parking. They only take cash. And you are given 2 candy canes and fresh mistletoe upon purchase of a tree. I will be back next year and this place is a good 25 minutes from us and I will recommend this business to friends and family as well as fellow Yelpers. read more

This review is for the Christmas tree lot, I have no experience with their pumpkin patch. There were plenty of trees to choose from, but the prices were unbelievably high. My husband and I had a major time constraint and needed a tree ASAP, otherwise there's no way we would've paid $150 for a 6-foot Fraser. My god I get upset just thinking about it. But we did, so that's on us. The staff loaded our tree onto the roof of our car, which should be standard treelot service by nice nonetheless. When we got home, we realized there were 2x4s nailed to the trunk to serve as a makeshift tree stand, making it impossible to saw off the bottom 1-2 inches of the trunk to allow the tree to intake water, per conventional Christmas tree wisdom. My fault for not checking before we left the lot I guess. We called to ask for suggestions on removing the boards, and they said we should just leave them on, or bring the tree back to have the boards removed. No way I was going to put that thing back on my car, so I resolved to remove the boards myself. 2 hours later, sweating and furious, I was finally able to pry the 6" nails (.5" diameter!!!) from the bottom of the trunk. After all was said and done, the tree drank for a week before it stopped taking in water. It died within 2 weeks from purchase. This was by far the most expensive and short lived tree I've ever purchased. read more

The Christmas Trees are some of the most expensive I've ever seen. We went there the other day and were quoted $80 for a 6' tall Noble Fir and upon offering payment the owner said we were misquoted and the tree was actually $175. He seemed a little offended that we would even mention that tree being $80 and that Noble Firs are very rare and can only be harvested by virgins by the light of a full moon. So, we drove 10 mins down the road to Home Depot and got a taller Noble Fir for $60. It is currently standing proudly in our living room and being attacked daily by our cat. If people are willing to pay that much money for a Christmas tree, more power to them. I am giving this establishment 5 starts for fleecing the idiots of LA. Merry Christmas everybody! read more

We loved coming to this pumpkin patch. First time here with my husband and our 16 month old daughter! The staff was very friendly as soon as we walked in they greeted us! It was my daughters first experience at a pumpkin patch and she cried when we left . She had fun, we bought three pumpkins. They have beautiful white and gray pumpkins. The pricing was very inexpensive! One of the ladies was very friendly and attentive, she gave my daughter a lollipop and my daughter was excited! Perfect cozy place for pictures! I truly recommend it and me and my husband thought the pumpkins were cheap in price because they were shiny and well taken care of. read more

This patch was cute but very small. Nothing to do but take pics. We went late so we only got to buy mini pumpkins because they no longer had the big ones. They didn't allow me to put my mask down for pictures which I understood but later on there was people coming in and taking them off for pictures and not one employee said anything to them which I found rude. read more

We came here today because I grew up visiting Lopez Ranch as a child at their original location. It was an awesome place in the 1970's. There are few similarities with this place now. Staff didn't acknowledge us. Pumpkins were extremely expensive ($20 for the same size you can get at Trader Joe's for $2.99). The pumpkin patch was very limited in size, but had adequate parking. We had looked forward to seeing the giant jack-o-lantern for some cool photo ops. Unfortunately it was placed so close to the fence (and backwards) you could not take a picture of your kids in it, as the fence prevents you from standing far enough back. We won't be back. It's has nothing of value for us. There are so many other pumpkin patches that offer more at better prices. read more
