The service here is non existent. They don't greet you just ask "what are you here for" & also feel like they are a bit racist so don't send your hard earned money with them. Horrible Attitude. They will try to scam you. They will charge you $30 just to see if your car will go up a ramp. Not trustworthy. If you say u will not pay the $30 fee for them to drive ur car on a ramp they will threaten to "keep" your car. read more

This place was a lifesaver. I went to another tire place nearby and they told me I needed a new tire, but they didn't have one that would fit on hand (I need a thin tire due to the size of my rims). On to Lopez! I pulled in, the gentleman looked at the hole in my tire and said I needed a new one. He takes the tire to the side, pops it off the rim, walks over to his stack of used tires and finds one that will fit, pops it on, fills it up, checks for leaks, and installs it where the donut was. All in, it took about 12 minutes and cost $50, with disposal and mounting included. They have a great selection of tires and are super quick and reasonably priced. If you're in the area (and even if it's a short drive) I would highly recommend them for any repairs or replacements. The used tires have a 30 day warranty, too, but I'm sure this tire will last much longer. Thanks a ton! read more

Attempted to get my tire repaired by a tire shop down the street from me. After telling me the tire could not be repaired(no inspectikn of the tire was done.)I came to Lopez Tire. Like most of the reviewers, I completely agree, and will further express my gratitude towards this fine (but small) establishment. I went there several times between 2005-2007 and they were great. They were quick and executed perfectly. I spoke to several people there over the years who either had heavy accents or limited English, but there were no language barriers. They understood every-single-thing I explained to them. They were even able to point out things I never noticed on my car. They fixed my bent wheel at no charge, either. They do all their work right before your very eyes. They also clean your tires. If I had the money, I would buy them a bigger shop with more employees because this place cannot go unnoticed. They have my 5 stars. Side note: I no longer live in Cicero, so I haven't been there in a long time but anyone who needs tire service should only go to Lopez Tires. read more

What does a poor, clueless, man-less female do when the tires on her car "don't look right" ? She thanks the heavens for this conveniently located tire shop, that's what. All I do is drive up and tell them what I see or feel and they get to work. They provide quick, efficient service. They sell new and used tires and they sell rims. The guys are so nice and helpful. Sometimes I just drive in, bat my eyelashes, and flash a smile. I'll say "I think my tires are low" and they happily fill my tires. They won't even charge me for this so I give them a nice tip. Every time I go here to have my tire patched or plugged these guys always do a great job and charge only $15 for a plug, don't listen to other mechanics or tire shops, cause they will always tell you that you need a new tire and that's $150-$250 for a new tire and they make money off of you lying to you , take your car here and let Lopez tires fix you tire and they will be honest and tell you what's best for you .. read more

Stopped in this place after my girlfriend got a nail stuck on the side of her rear tyre. Was in and out in less than 15 minutes. Had previously visited Sam's club because they advertise free flat repairs, but they told me they can not patch it because they would rather have me buy a new tire. read more

This is by far the best service I have gotten from any tire shop, ever. I've gone to other tire shops (which shall remain unnamed) and they don't appreciate your business as much as these guys, since this is a family owned and operated business. They were extremely dedicated to my needs, gave me multiple tire options (not just new), fixed a bent wheel, and made sure I left with proper tire pressure levels. They are bilingual, they are open later than most, and most importantly, their service is unbeatable. Will be coming back for all of my tire/wheel needs. read more

I can only speak for the alignment I got here, since I didn't have any tire work done. These guys were so friendly and helpful when I brought my car in for an alignment. There was no wait and they got my car aligned timely and correctly. The car tracks straight now and I couldn't be happier. They have a very nice modern machine for alignments and give you a print out of your numbers afterward. They have the best price in the area as well, only $60. I normally don't leave reviews, but I am very impressed with their service and will be referring them to everyone. read more

I've been a customer for quite some time. I've had my tires patched a couple of times within the year. They are quick and get the job done. I've noticed that the price would go up whenever I went back to get them patched 15-20-25$. I finally decided to buy new tires and was told to go to a tire shop to have them replaced , mount and balanced. So I went to the same place that I've always gone to. When I asked how much I would be charged . They said 150-160$ my boyfriend immediately told me not to do it, they were clearly trying to rip me off. So I had left to another location. The worst place ever went in and Mr Lopez took care of me. I went for air and check my driver side wheel as it tends to flatten every so often. He took the tire lock I owned and put in in and used his tool and broke it. He blamed the place whom put the lock and said they put in the lock wrong on my wheels denied he broke it. Repeatedly he told me he was not at fault. He said he was not going to give me a new key because he did not have any. This man is so rude. In the past I brought my car and he stole the cover behind my wheel. Shameful. Should not have a business. read more

I don't know about the 2nd reviewer but my experience was great even if it was just a tire rotation. I walked in just before they were about to close and they were glad to let me in and have it done for me. They were courteous and very quick. I was in and out in about 5min and all I spoke was English and they took good care of me. I will definitely go back. read more

I had to take the time to write this review since this tire shop was so dedicated to my husband and I. We needed last minute tire service within a short time! I found these guys on google and glad I did! Its great to know there are still humble people in this world that are willing to help a person out and not just trying to rip them off! I hit a pot hole and bent my rim (which was a small dent). So a friend recommended Lopez Tires. I took my rim there to get it straightened out and they ened up cracked my rim and made me pay for the welding or refused to give me my rim. So I argued with the shop manager and got the price down to half. Then they forgot to give me my center cap back and when I returned to retrieve it, it was broken. I insisted they replace and they faught me on that as well. Days later the onwer decided he would purchase the cap. When I went to pick up the cap they refused to put it on. Horrible place, about a week ago i purchased one of the used tires they offer at this place, well last night that same tire looked like it was actually disolving, i got stranded on the road because of this. i tried to change it but it was impossible. so i had to call a tow truck to take it to another shop, they took more than half an hour taking this tire out because it was on so tightly. the worker there told me there was no chance i could have done it myself because whoever did it last put on the lug nuts too tight. I could not believe it. How could this happen? Defenetly not the place to go. read more
