Came in this morning for a simple tire rotation. They said it'd be an hour cause they had an issue with a car stalled in the middle of the garage. I said ok 15 min job went to an hour alright whatever no biggie I'll walk over to Dunkin' an grab a coffee. As I'm walk-in back to the shop I hear a car haul ass I immediately knew it was mine. I have a performance exhaust and recognize the sound it makes.I turn around an see it's my car! The technician thought it was a smart idea to open up my jeep srt on Ogden Avenue. He must have hit almost 60mph! Long story short I told em give me car back an left. What an unprofessional place to do business with.I really hope you don't do this to every customers car. read more

Impatient over the phone so I just hung up. Why rush into "bring it in so we can see." If you just asked the right questions and be patient they would have had a new customer, it's too much competition out here. Normally they would ask "whats your car model etc. so I can look it up the tire info for you.." But thats more a place that wants a rep of great customer service. You would think a tire shop could look my tires up in seconds to end my confusion and correct my misunderstanding of tires. Nowadays people just want to come in and get the work done. Not come in, see it's too much, now have to leave and maybe come back when they are ready to pay the price for the work. I'll pass just on the lack of jumping to the "come in so we can see." The greatest car service I've ever had! I moved recently to Chicago and I wasn't sure who could help with an issue I was having with my tire. I originally called Midas and they told me they couldn't help with my issue. They suggested I call Cassidy, and I am so glad I did. This was a very strange experience for me. I fully intended to buy four new tires on our five year old car. I went to two other places that said the tires were dry rotted and needed replacing. I was delaying it for as long as possible and decided to stop in to Cassidy cause it was local and I told them to price me for tire replacement. I created a Yelp account just to write a review for these guys. I had my brakes redone by them one year ago and they have been working great ever since. I recently took my car in because it was making a weird noise. They thoroughly inspected it and couldn't find anything wrong. They did not make up a problem to charge me for (like so many other shops would) and did not charge me for taking a look. My husband has also taken his car here for service and has had no problems with any of the work they have done. I always see the manager treating both customers and employees respectfully, which I think is a sign of a good manager. Overall, I would say these guys are honest and they do quality work. Alfonso and Jesus were great. I was stranded at a gas station with a flat tire. I was waiting for someone from my insurance company to come put my spare on ( almost an hour wait). I called Cassidy to see if they had a new tire to replace my flat. Not only did they fit me in right before they closed but they also sent out one of their guys to put my spare on so I could get there sooner. I was able to cancel my roadside assistance through my insurance and got two new tires in less than 30 minutes. Bonus: they did not charge me for the road side assistance!! read more

I woke to have a flat tire... garage bound with no one to help... I called and got immediate help! Within 10 mins someone came removed the flat and replaced it with the donut .... do not buy tires from this horrible place! i bought 4 general tires on 2/9/2012 and one of the tires blew on the chicago skyway and another tire was defective.. they did not honor the warranty on one of the 2 tires and charged me $152.00. now the other 2 tires have bubbles and have to be replaced. not recommended! read more
