(ETA: the location visited has address listed as 17057 W Main St. Monroe, WA @ the chevron station) Today (1/31/26), I visited this coffee stand and ordered two drinks. After confirming they had sugar-free white chocolate, I ordered a 24oz hot Americano with sugar-free white chocolate and an Italian soda. There was a small mix-up at first when I was handed what appeared to be an iced coffee (and possibly a smaller size). As I mentioned it was supposed to be hot, the barista realized the mistake and immediately remade the drink. Mistakes happen -- I completely understand that. However, I very clearly confirmed multiple times that the drink was sugar-free. When I handed the receipt clipboard back, I reiterated again that it needed to be sugar-free because my partner is diabetic. I was assured by the gals that it absolutely was. Unfortunately, it was definitely not sugar-free. My partner's blood sugar has been extremely elevated all day (in the 350s, even 8-9 hours later). Thankfully he was able to manage it, but he has felt terrible and this could have been a very dangerous situation. I will say that he staff were kind and polite, and this review isn't about their demeanor at all. But when it comes to dietary restrictions -- especially medical conditions like diabetes -- accuracy is critical. I repeated the request multiple times specifically to avoid this exact situation. I truly hope this is taken as constructive feedback so extra care can be given in the future when handling sugar-free or allergy-related orders. read more

Good coffee, friendly service, but I would advise against getting any of the breakfast items. You are basically paying them 10 dollars to stick a 2 dollar Kroger breakfast muffin into the microwave and over-cook the snot out of it. Some espresso stands source some pretty decent microwaveable breakfast items (Ruby's near Roosevelt comes to mind), but this one is a rip off on that part alone. I figure it was worth the review as all prices are going up and I just feel absolutely stupid paying 10 bucks for this basically inedible grocery store item that I could have made better in my own microwave. Lesson learned! I'll stick to the coffee here. read more

My favorite drive through place to go in Monroe. I will purposely make my way to that side of town to justify stopping. The staff are always professional, friendly and greet me with a smile and asking if I want my regular. This is my go-to coffee stand hands down! I have been going here for years now. ALWAYS have great service and everyone that works there is fantastic!!!! Baristas aren't very friendly, especially later in the day. They seem to be annoyed and want to go home. Coffee is good for the most part.

Don't call my husband DEAR just because he's 74. I'm in the car with him and it's me who had him stop. We are a couple have respect and say thank you guys. He doesn't tip I do. I had to tell him to tip you after you called him DEAR twice. Be respectful and don't flirt with our husbands for a tip. Won't be coming here again. And I always tip 2 dollars!!!! read more
