I saw the viral boot cup on TikTok and knew I had to swing a visit. The café sign is a little confusing and may suggest that this is a bikini barista spot, but I assure you this is a normal old espresso stand. I ordered the elephant ear latte, which was part of the carnival themed latte lineup. It was delicious. It was sweet and it was a perfect treat. I needed it before heading over to Costco. I did not receive a receipt after paying so I don't know how much my actual drink and the cup was but it came out in total to $14. I also did sub out oat milk. Service was pleasant nothing extraordinary and they were fairly quick and making my beverage. I came around 2 PM on a weekday with no line. Been here 3 times, each time the girls aren't very pleasant. Each time it was a different barista and they all seemed like they did not enjoy their entire existences. Which is fine, but you're in customer service, it is not my job to know that you hate your life, as your customer. (Sorry for the harsh example) This last time, she didn't even smile, and she didn't say a word to me other than "what are you having" and "here you go". I also asked for extra ice and she gave me light ice, and then she barely mixed the drink after putting ice in, so my first sip of my ICED drink was warm. And listen, that in itself is not a huge deal. However, as a former barista myself, it's the little things. And when your barista isn't even nice in any way that's visible, every other aspect of negative is heightened. Just like when someone is kind, people are more willing to... "forgive" mistakes, like "oh I asked for extra ice and she gave me light, but it's okay she was really nice". The espresso they serve is just fine! No complaints there. I suppose this is just a: hey, maybe talk to your baristas about their presentation. Because it turns customers away from your business. 3 different baristas, similar experiences when it comes to their pleasantness. read more

The barista in the stand i believe the name was charolette, made me an iced red bull that tasted like a watered down gatorade. I feel like an iced redbull with flavor is one of the easiest drinks to make... as i did not add anything else to the drink. do better charolette read more

Showed up specifically cause I wanted a bucket cup/drink. One drink with the bucket cup, was one of their "special drinks" still not correct. One was just a regular hot cup. These weren't crazy drinks one was a mocha with almond flavoring and the other was their peanut butter mocha and neither of them were correct. Then she didn't give a receipt, when I paid with a card, looked at the banking statement 20 minutes later and two drinks were 26.40 are you kidding me???? Popped in here for around 10am on a Monday. No line. Barista was friendly. I ordered an oat milk half pump Peppermint mocha and it was perfect! Not too sweet. Well balanced. I've been going to Cafe Lorraine for a while because it's very close to my house & they've been alright, but my review is specifically for today's experience. I came in on a Saturday at 0630 for a coffee & a breakfast item. The barista asked what I wanted and I responded, "can I get a breakfast burrito?" and right off the bat, the barista says "NOPE. I've been too busy all morning." I didn't argue nor did I say anything in response to that because I was so confused of her refusal. I just said "ok" and ordered a coffee. Even as I write this, I am still so shocked that the barista REFUSED to warm up ANY breakfast item simply because she did not want to. I could maybe understand if the line was incredibly long, but there was only one car behind me and all she had to do was warm it up & have me pull to the side and wait. I have never heard of food service saying "nope" to making food simply because they did not want to deal with the hassle. Her audacity and the way she talked to me was very uncalled for and downright disrespectful. It was not fair to me to be treated that way and her attitude was very disappointing. read more

two cars on the opposite side where taken care of before me, when i was there first. the time management between both sides of the window is very poor. there were two baristas, so this should not have been the case. they did not even greet me for several minutes, asked what my coffee order was 3 times only to get one of them wrong still. i thought maybe they're having an off day and just took it. i seriously regret that because the coffee tastes awful, like they ran the shots twice. there was a blonde and a brunette they looked high school age. maybe they're not ready to be left alone in there yet or something? but service and the drinks were just awful and i will not be going there again. read more

Only on occasion have I received a lukewarm drink, which isn't my favorite... other than that, I find them prompt, sweet, and very friendly. I've been going to Cafe Lorraine for at least 15 years now and gotten thousands of drinks there. Hot coffee, cold coffee, smoothies, Red Bull, the entire gambit of drinks and I can honestly say that I've had maybe a handful of those thousands of drinks that weren't absolutely perfect. Don't even get me started on the cookies and all the other amazing snacks and food. I go twenty minutes out of my way every morning just to get coffee here. The girls that work there are friendly, sweet, funny, and beautiful! Their smiles and a great cup of coffee is the best way to start my day. I've driven past this coffee box several times before, and today I was curious enough to check it out. I really wanted a simple and good Americano. No luck. Apparently hiring Baristas for their ability to wear a bikini doesn't mean they know how to make coffee. The stand is covered with pictures of the proof that they are quite able at wearing bikinis, chaps and hot-pants. Being a Sunday evening, I wasn't gifted with such a show. I have stopped and got coffee from cafe Lorraine a couple of times in the mornings and have liked the coffee. But the other day, I stopped by in the afternoon. The girl working there was really sweet but the coffee she made me was probably one of the worst coffees I've ever had. I ordered my usual soy latte with 2 extra shots. It was way too hot, the coffee tasted like dirty water, and the milk tasted burnt and sour. I had to throw it away after a couple of sips. I'm not sure if it was an isolated incident or not, but I used to be a barista and I wouldn't serve the coffee that I was given to any customer. She drives an older white Toyota and I won't be coming again if she's working. read more

This has been my go to place for 11 years. I have always loved this stand and drive hours to just get coffee from them, but all the new hires need to be retrained. The last few times have just been the worse coffee of my life. I knew they were new so I let it slide but now it's just they aren't getting better. I also have noticed since the bikini stand that was up the road is gone and since it's been gone the girls her have been dressing more risque. This isn't what we want put more clothes on we want a good cup of coffee and conversation. So tell the new girls to focus less on dressing risque and focus on making a good cup of coffee. read more

I used to come through this stand more back in the day but then I moved away. Now I've moved back and anytime I drive by, I make a point to stop for goodies. The girls are always friendly, the prices are right, the drink and food menu is above what some other stands offer and I love how welcoming the stand is. BEST ESPRESSO STAND IN WA! I have never had a bad drink from this place. Anything from a iced white chocolate americano, to a blended redbull, it's always so good! Not only are the drinks amazing, they have so much food! Hotdogs, corndogs, scones, shortcakes, donuts, muffins, bagels, and more! Always something new. The same great smiles and service every time.
