617 White Ale

The beer was really good, I was excited to try their food but kitchen was closed 2 hours before closing so I was a little bummed about that, nonetheless the beer was great and the gentleman who served us was nice, get there early if you want to try food La cerveza está bien buena en este establecimiento, quería probar el menú pero la cocina estaba cerrada dos horas antes de cerrar puertas, eso me sacó un poco de onda pero así es a veces uno corre con mala suerte, sin embargo el mesero nos trató muy bien

Woburn Lord Hobo is huge inside with a nice ambiance. They have allergy menus & trivia every Wednesday nigh, 10/10 recommend.

Lord Hobo Brewery is a fantastic spot with an upbeat, lively vibe on a Saturday. The staff were incredibly nice, going out of their way to make the experience enjoyable. I especially appreciated how quickly they cleared a table for us in such a busy setting--it made us feel well taken care of. The bartenders were knowledgeable and super friendly, letting me sample two sours before I ultimately settled on their fantastic ESB. While I wasn't a fan of the sours, if you're a fan of ESBs, this one is a must-try! They've also recently acquired Lone Pine Brewery, (up in Portland ME), so their options are included on the draft list as well. This makes for quite the expansive list of drafts to choose from!

The pizza is to die for. Typical brewing food with a lively atmosphere. Large selection of IPAs. Service was okay. If you didn't order anything from the bar, it was self serve to get your water, napkins etc. fun place to watch the games.

I love Lord Hobo in Woburn! From the start, might be weird but they have a great parking lot. Never a stress, you will find parking in the lot of on the street! Inside it's super lively and a cute brewery. Two bars, three different seating sections and different vibes. A more dark and cozy section, a more light section near the pizza and an outdoor patio. For drinks, they rotate drinks and you will find something on the menu. I love ciders and sours and I always can find something to enjoy. I love sitting at the bar and chatting with the bartenders or sometimes I sit outside and read. Great place and great people.... AND great beer.

J.P. Licks Chocolate Mint Ice Cream Stout, enjoyed the chocolate and mint at play here!

Finally I got a Lord Hobo beer experience and as I often am I am very grateful that the opportunity arose for to happen! Steve and I had two beers from Lord Hobo. We had their Pickle Beer. I haven't had a pickle beer in a long time and so it sounded good to take a crack at. The pickle flavor I thought wasn't super strong in the flavor and almost saw it as more of an accompanied flavor but that was OK. I had pretty strong flavored pickle beers in the past... not that I am complaining about either. Flavor features to find with this beer is of course dill, a briney flavor, citrus and some sourness. It's a light beer which I typically enjoy those. The other beer was a stout, J.P. Licks Chocolate Mint Ice Cream Stout was the exact name. I do have to say I have had a voracious appetite for dark beers in the winter of 2024 and I am glad I snatched up this fine stout. Flavors to look for is chocolate, mint along with a smooth body. This stout is a little bit lighter than some which wasn't a problem for me. I was just in dark beer mode and how heavy the beer was wasn't a huge factor for me. Again, super glad I finally got to try Lord Hobo and we both really liked the beers we had!

Great environment. What Stopped by here on the way to Manchester. Got here at around 12 when it was opened. I like the options they have for vegan. I was able to veganize half of a pizza to share. I did the veggies pizza veganized. I'm not a pizza person but I was able to enjoy this pizza. The crust was thin and crispy. Also got the Brussels sprouts veganized, it was a little too sweet for me. The fries were good. I enjoyed a beer as well, there was a big selection. Environment I like the big space of this place. There are plenty of seats available. The bar seating has bag hooks and also charging outlets. Niceness of the staff The servers were all very friendly. They keep checking up on me to make sure there was nothing else I needed. Overall I had a good time. Dollar It was reasonable for the food I got. Yes? I would stop by here again.

When at a brewery- you drink beer So that's what we did- my guest and I had a few different beers including: 617 IPA, Galatic Vagabond, Boomsauce, Banger #8, Bodacious Vagabond- For an appetizer we ordered the bone in wings with sweet chili glaze and side of ranch an extra .50 ? Not sure at $12.00 you would think you would receive either blue cheese or ranch ‍ My guest ordered the Hobo burger which he said was great I opted for the chicken pesto pizza -an excellent choice - Pulled rotisserie chicken, sliced tomatoes, aged provolone, nut-free pesto If you are reading this you like beer So go ahead and get yourself inside and enjoy a draft or few and a bite to eat You won't be disappointed I'll be back

Very large space but oh my goodness why do breweries insist on chairs without backs! So uncomfortable and definitely keeps me from wanting to stay: maybe their point. They have some great beers on tap. Large variety. We really enjoyed the pickle beer, Woloho, and bodacious vagabond.

The bar tender explained that "Boom Sauce" was as local as it gets, being brewed just up the street.

My mom and I like to have a nice meat dinner from time to time. A few years back we stumbled upon…read moreThe Bancroft and it was excellent - so, she came into town this past weekend, wanted to do our fancy big meat dinner, and we knew The Bancroft was the place to go. I made a reservation for a Saturday night at 7:00 for two. Note: I originally went to make the reservation online from their website but the availability was not good, so I called instead. Online it pretty much looked booked between 4:30 and 8:00 - I called and was able to get 7:00 without hesitation. So, make note to call if you don't see the time or range listed online. We were greeted as we entered and checked in with the host/hostess. They were friendly and polite and told us it would just be a few minutes. They brought us back to our table and had us seated shortly there after. Our waitress was great; she told us about the specials, checked in on us, and made sure everything was as expected. We ordered some bevs that were very tasty and had great presentations. Speaking of presentation, let's get on to the food. We ordered the Tomahawk, which if you don't know, is a MASSIVE piece of meat. It's a steak meant to serve two people - in reality, it serves way more than two. The presentation of the tomahawk steak plate alone was beautiful! It had a whole bunch of stuff (see pic). They bring it out for you to see, and then they take it back to the kitchen to slice. We ordered medium rare, and probably should have gone more medium but it was not too rare so it was fine. Now, at The Bancroft, it is an à la carte style meal, meaning you order sides separately and usually a few for the table. We had the carrots (one of the specials), roasted potatoes, and creamed spinach. Forgot to say when you order meat, you also get to pick two sauces - and before anything while you wait they bring you some rolls and butter. The rolls started us off on the right foot knowing the meal was going to be phenomenal. They were warm with some sea salt on top and baked to perfection. The steak was mouth watering, juicy, and flavorful. The sauces added a great touch, and the sides were wonderful. It is safe to say, we did not leave hungry! As mentioned, while tomahawk is said to serve two, we had a lot of leftovers so of course we got those packed up to go. They were very considerate with the packaging, putting items in different boxes that made sense. We unfortunately did not have room for dessert but I'm sure it would've been awesome. The Bancroft is definitely a higher scale restaurant so it is on the pricer side, but it is justified. The food tastes great, presentation is there, and service is excellent. It's a great place for special occasions, celebrations, or just because as long as you know what to expect... but with prices today, I'd rather pay this and have it be worth it than what a crappy meal is costing today!

Heaven. I would say it's a super car restaurant…read more Atmo. Fast track great service Good. - V8. K

It turned out to be a cold and rainy day after a warm spell - as it often does in New England! But luckily they were still able to play because of the great indoor space as backup! Josh and Derek were great hosts - helped with the band's setup and also provided their sound system speakers. The space is really cool - high ceilings, cozy feel, great lighting fixtures and best of all - this really cool greenery mural on the wall done by a professional artist! Pulls your eye all the way up! It worked out great - the sound was great. Multiple bands played from noon till 6pm. Apparently the space can fit up to a hundred people! There was a decent crowd today considering the weather- the die hard fans came out to support their bands! Friends ordered beers that they enjoyed. Service was friendly. Restrooms were clean and the walls have all these cool posters of the bands playing there which was really cool! Really nice of them to advertise the bands like that. They even have a PorchFest beer! Parking right outside was amazing especially with all the equipment that needed to be brought in and out. Everyone enjoyed the music! We'll be back!
