Dropped my car off when I picked it up the bill was $996, and what they did instead of replacing the Catalytic Converter like I requested. they cut it in half and only changed half of the Catalytic Converter, then said "oh you need to get the back part installed soon it's going out.". They cut the Catalytic Converter in half only changed half if the Catalytic Converter now they are asking for $700 just for the missing half. I called Huffines Jeep and told them never to recommend Lorentz Automotive/Lewisville Muffler to anyone again. They are shocked that the Catalytic Converter got cut in half. Now I am looking for someone to install 1/2 , Huffines said they only install complete Catalytic Converter

They told me it was actually both of my converters, which devastated me. I knew I couldn't afford it. Then, they actually took the time to research and look for ways to save money. The guy that helped me out actually found a special coverage warranty for my model and my converters were actually covered. I set up the appt with Huffines Chevy, and they did the work and replaced it free of charge. I had tears in my eyes. They truly made my christmas special, and I can't thank them enough. It's a family owned business and the owner and his sons are very nice and very transparent about what's going on with your vehicle maintenance and the cost. was going to take an Uber home, but the owner asked how far away I lived and since I was pretty close, his son gave me a ride home. Got my truck back a few hours later and very pleased overall. Going to use this company as my mechanic going forward on my truck and my wife's SUV.

This was a first rate auto shop repair shop until it sold. The new owner owners are sharpies…read moreespecially the young man who manages the front. I had a clutch repair and rear seal work done in April 2022. I paid $1,865.02. All the transmission drive parts had to be replaced this month. I called All Makes and reported the transmission problems on Oct. 26, 2023. The young manager said it was in warranty and to bring it into the shop for repair on Monday Oct. 30 which I did. Late that afternoon he called to say that there was nothing wrong with the clutch and drive train parts. The mechanic who drove it said that was an engine problem. This was in direct contradiction of the findings of the shop that had tested it before I brought back to All Makes. He, All Makes MGR, said that to look at the spark plug (1) and check the timing he would have to charge me $473! I told him I would pick the up the vehicle immediately which I did. The second shop did the repairs and saved the parts replaced as I had requested, The clutch plate, pressure plate, and throw out bearing. He also replaced the flywheel which was rough and should have been replaced when the first repair was made. I paid $1,101.00 for the new repair.

Anyway here's my 1000000% honest review again I paid $7036 May16th for parts that Sean had agreed to put in a truck I was going to purchase that I was told the engine had to be pulled out because it was bad ( I question that but the reason for my doubts will be more understood after I explain the whole story ) . After the seller of the truck and Sean told me they had to pull the motor because it was bad I discussed putting in new engine with Sean . I told Sean the price I could/would do and explained that if he couldn't do it for that price I understood but I would have to walk away and find something different . He said he could do it for that price so I continued with the sale of the truck and I just asked Sean to please keep me updated because I live almost an hour away ,he said he would . Well after I paid Sean started with the lies he told me it was getting close to being done on June 9th . Then he said he was behind because he forgot about the holidays . Then he told me an estimate of when it should be done then he completely ignored me . I only found out he had been on vacation after he called me on July 7th screaming and cussing on the phone saying he was tired of the **** and tired of seeing it and to come get the **** etc etc etc he yelled for 7min he told me to shut up he was talking when I tried to respond then hung up on me. I can honestly say I was shocked because Sean is very good at pretending to be a nice person, but so was Ted Bundy . After that surprising call I called the insurance company for the truck and they recommended I have it towed out of there . So I called the tow truck to pick it up because I didn't know what else to do other than telling them to be safe because the Sean was acting unstable and erratic . The tow truck driver sent a face time video when they got to the shop to verify it was the correct truck . The video confirmed that the truck was in the exact same spot it had been in May , it had not even moved in two months . I had paid for an engine and transmission that he said he would install but for him to even begin installing those he would have had to remove the existing transmission . When the tow drivers got the truck to me the original transmission was still it the truck . Absolutely nothing had been done to it since the day I saw it and we agreed to the price I could/ would pay for the engine transmission etc. That's over two months that it had not even moved , at one point in the beginning Sean had even lied and said it was getting close to being done . But after his shocking call telling me to come get it because he was tired of seeing it , didn't want to deal with it anymore even though he had not done any work etc , I assumed that I would be refunded the money I paid for parts that I never even saw . But I was wrong Sean lied to the credit card company so not only is he a manipulator and bad mechanic he is a sneaky thief too . I just wanted to get my money back because after the way he acted I wouldn't feel safe going there and definitely would not want another woman or anyone else to have to deal with what he has done to me . Sean the thief lied to my credit card but luckily I was able to show proof . But I mean honestly who has so much money they would just walk away from $7,000 because that's what Sean told the credit card company. I see now why Sean had tried to get me to pay cash instead of using a credit card because if I had done that I wouldn't have had any protection at all. At this point I am still trying to get the original parts he took off the truck that he had originally agreed to give back , I hope I don't have to bother the police department again to get the parts back but they have been very helpful. The Lewisville police department officer I spoke with confirmed that Sean had broken the law . When I was trying to figure out what to do I found a review from someone else who was in a situation much like my own and learned this isn't the first time Sean has done this . So it seems like a lot of his money has been made from ignoring people after they pay and if he does do the "work" the quality is awful.

Today I received my vehicle back with a new engine, repairs to the initial problem that caused the engine failure alone with a new issue that just recently happened and folks I'm still standing! It has been the best experience, cost, professionalism, honesty and service. You literally can't ask for anything more than the experience here with Sean. Ladies if you need a trusted mechanic that will service you honestly and I'm the best time I've ever seen.... This is where you need to go.
