The very next day Jacob was at my house replacing and upgrading the equipment in the rain with an umbrella. I understand what great customer service is. I expect it at fine dining restaurants, and at luxury automobile dealerships, and I do expect great service from any vendor. However, Big D Pools, Dustin and Jacob specifically, have raised the bar to a new level. This is my 2nd experience of insanely amazing customer service from them. I highly recommend this business. 1st Review in 2021: Awesome company with amazing service and great people working there. My pool heater died. I called them and they came out the same day to diagnose, and they installed a new heater on the same day. Unbelievable! I highly recommend this company for your pool repair needs.

Had to constantly text and leave multiple voice mails before any response. No supervision of work so some work had to be redone. After 7 months the pool never was completed and our yard was left all torn up, We had to figure out ourselves what to do and find people to do at additional cost to us. Initially, we were pleasantly surprised by how quickly Emerald Waters Pool completed our pool installation. Unfortunately, we soon realized the speed came at the expense of doing the job correctly. The biggest issue was that the required city inspections were never completed before construction moved forward. Will advanced the project all the way to the final inspection, where the city rejected the entire project. We then spent approximately two and a half months waiting for everything to be corrected and approved before we could finally move forward with the plaster. Even after receiving city approval, the problems continued. The site had not been properly prepared before the plaster was applied, resulting in it having to be installed twice. Then, just three weeks after installation, the color began fading, which was clearly not normal. We contacted Will about the issue but never received a response. We also discovered that the waterfall was installed off-center, another quality control issue that should have been caught during construction. In addition to the pool, we hired Emerald Waters Pool to install a patio and walkway. The workmanship was disappointing. The pavers was neither straight nor level without constant supervision, and we had to insist that sections be redone because they were not installed correctly. To make matters worse, some of the additional work we paid for was never completed. It is also worth noting that the work performed outside of the pool installation was never covered by a written contract, which appeared to avoid documenting that portion of the project. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend Emerald. Between the missed inspections, poor workmanship, lack of communication, and incomplete work, the project became far more stressful and time-consuming than it should have been. We strongly encourage anyone considering this company to continue their search for a builder that prioritizes quality, communication, and accountability.

The part cost $50 on Amazon AND it took me less than two minutes to replace it! Filter must be cleaned -- $150 -- The pressure gauge wasn't even reading 15 PSI. I cleaned it myself but it didn't need it. Your auto chlorinator is not dissolving the tabs. It needs an evaluation. They want to charge additional fees to see if there is something wrong with it! Chlorine levels are high. WTFF? They say they vacuum every time they come out. Their vacuum is battery operated with a netted BAG! Same thing as the Polaris - it picks up leaves but sprays the dust up into the water for the filter to pick up and leaves your water cloudy (they should be using a hose that connects to the filter).
