He fixed things and shared details of what he found and what he was doing. He had everything working perfectly within no time. I was so happy I found this company and especially David that I had automation for pool (phone app mgmt) added and he had that in no time. I can't tell you how great it feels to have a knowledgeable person with great manners and excellent communications skills to work with. the cost of getting this done is priceless for me but their pricing was most cost effective than others. the key for me is the skill, knowledge and communication they have shown. He took mine and to figure it out and did not charge me because he said it looked perfect inside when he took it apart. He did not charge me for his time to do this. In fact he did not charge me for anything. I am a customer for life for his honesty and impeccable customer service. Mine is under warranty and I have to reach out to Hayward so Dan told me to keep his until I get mine taken care of. So grateful for his helpfulness because I am so frustrated with what is going on with my pool cleaner. His works great in my pool.

I had a major algae problem I could not control. I called AAP and they came and checked it out. I couldn't believe how clean they got the plaster, and when refilled and balanced it looks perfect! It took 1 day to drain, 1 day to clean, 2 days to refill and we were back in the pool! I am very satisfied with AAP and would highly recommend them for all your pool maintenance needs! Thanks to all who helped us get our pool back just in time for this great Texas heat!!

We hired GP&A after speaking with several pool companies and chose them specifically based on their…read morereviews praising quick response times and communication. Unfortunately, that was not our experience. We did the "Green-to-Clean ($800)". It took SIX weeks. We had to repeatedly follow up because they would go ~2 weeks without showing up or communicating. When we asked, we were told there was an emergency situation, we tried to be understanding, but there was no proactive communication on their end. We decided weekly service ($250/month). After the initial clean, we signed up for weekly maintenance. Within 24-48 hours of each visit, chlorine levels would drop back to 0 ppm. GP&A's explanation was that our pool system was outdated and needed to be replaced. However, we had two separate pool inspections done when we purchased the home, plus 3-4 other pool companies assess the equipment, none of them flagged the system (installed in 2017) as a problem requiring replacement. Upsell attempts: GP&A quoted us a full system replacement (under $6,000) and then a filter replacement (~$2,200) before they said they could continue service. We decided to move on to another provider. End of service: We asked if they could continue maintaining the pool through the end of the month. Their last visit was six days before the final day of the month (image attached). The pool was visibly green and in poor condition by end of month (again they serviced it 6 days ago and it is this green; not adding enough chlorine). When we brought this up, they responded that the condition was "consistent with the unresolved filtration issue for which repairs were recommended", essentially placing responsibility on us for not purchasing their repair package. We were looking for a long-term, trustworthy pool service company. What we experienced was poor communication, inconsistent results, and recommendations that no other company has supported. I cannot recommend GP&A based on our experience.
