This property has become a joke! It is NOTHING like it used to be. Management can be rude and make tenants feel their issues are not being heard. The "tenants meeting" is strategically timed during working hours when many can't attend. I can say much more but I digress. Just some things to consider since I realize the praises in my last review may be a little misleading after living here for almost 1 year. Apartments are great, staff is helpful, maintenance completes the task within days of making a maintenance request, but the community is not the best. Pool closures regularly and a pretty strict open and close time with limited number of days with pool access and sometimes the fire alarms blare throughout the building either routine maintenance and testing or one night they just started blaring so loud that every one stayed outside until the fire department came to turn it off (makes me think about the pets that are home alone as the alarm is going off as it is very loud). There has also been an increase in car break ins and car theft recently, some people do not clean up after their dogs, and people also leave furniture and trash laying around the dumpsters which makes them disgusting by the time trash gets picked up (and if your balcony is above a dumpster flies are more likely to come into your apartment). They may or may not be working to improve these things, but it's important to consider when looking for an apartment. read more

Lived here for over a year now and it's a pretty relaxed apartment complex in a safe area with competitive monthly rent costs when compared to the rest of the valley. However if you're looking for an apartment with amenities this isn't the place. the pools are constantly closed and they've been changing the key fobs for almost a month so the only time you have access to use the fitness or business center is during most people's work hours. read more

My son and I lived there for three years. There were bullet holes right by his bedroom window. We had drainage issues. I lost use of my kitchen for days. The bathroom ended up moldy because of the stuff coming up through the drain. Yes they fixed it, however. They never compensated us for the loss of the kitchen or the bathroom and then they were very condescending about it. They offered to clean the carpet and never came back for it. While they were doing that I was gonna have the whole apartment cleaned. But they were very quick to charge me for everything they could. read more

Allows other tenants to harass you. The expectation to tip toe in your apartment is unacceptable and no one should be banging on your floor 24 hours a day for you simply using the restroom in your own apartment. Despite evidence of harassment from ongoing issues, they will charge you hundreds of dollars so that you can stop being harassed and move to another apartment. The apartment noise from neighbors are loud and that is an expecting finding from apartment living. The tenants committing the harassment are the ones that should be punished not the other way around. read more

They tacked on $2k for no reason ....We spent 5 months with dog poop raining down on us , from upstairs! It was a health issue disaster ! it was a terrible place to live the last year. they have now put us in collections which i will fight and i will sue their asses for the time we spent there living with dog urine and poop raining down on us all the time... police constantly at our door saying how unsafe from crime the apartment was! She was the most personable & hands on rep that I have interacted with at Loreto & Palacio and any other property overall! She explained the property, process, and fees to me in depth and answered all my questions. She made me feel comfortable when touring the property and unit. Answered all my questions and heard my concerns!! She was no where near as pushy as you would expect reps to be. I chose the property solely on her customer service! If I could give this place ZERO Stars I would. Trust me when I say avoid this place! The office staff is nice BUT it's not worth the money and NOTHING EVER WORKS!!! The water is constantly cut off for maintenance. They won't replace or clean the old carpet that's been in apartments since they opened. Something is always breaking. The property isn't nicely manicured, there's crap everywhere. Lastly the neighborhood has changed drastically, it's becoming unsafe!!! Don't waste your time or hard earned money. Don't move here I pay 2k for a 2 bedroom and other apartments or homes are similar or barely more for better amenities and place. There's people that look like late teens and early twenties walking in here with rap playing from a speaker in their backpack or phone blasting it obnoxiously and throwing up gang signs as they walk and it's day and night. Cars being broken into so much. There's so much graffiti on the brick entrance and some inside the complex. The office won't put up cameras because they said they'll be liable which isn't how that works. As of 9/29 I no longer live here and I can say these apartments were horrible. From influx of crime every other day to bad neighbors leaving trash everywhere and not picking up after their pets. No assigned parking, the pool seemed to be always in repairs being shutdown by NHSD. Also same kids walking around looking into peoples cars, cars being broken into overnight and the lack of Security on property. For what they charge monthly you would think they would up security and install gates! read more

I really thought these apartments would be great from the start but we were so unhappy we had decided instead of moving to a different building, we decided to move out of the apartment complex all together. We were here for probably a year and a half. There is so many problems here, starting off with the parking. As soon as they told us your apartment doesn't have one assigned parking we should've known it would create a big problem. We have a toddler, he was a baby when we first moved in, so my hands/arms would be full of stuff after parking the car (if I could even find parking at all) and I would also be carrying my child with me. Not only do you have a problem finding parking spots, when you leave at night you have to park towards the back where you have cars going over the line and the other car literally almost touching yours and you're circling around looking for parking. Both of our cars have door dings and scratches. My boyfriend's car has had some type of liquid thrown on the trunk so the paint is now messed up. Not only that, you have one of your neighbors that switches their motorcycle with their truck in the front spot EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. When their vehicles get switched, their whole truck blocks the way so you know there's no way you can grab that spot. You have the same neighbor having gatherings in their garage, having more than one garage cause you can see them go garage to garage with their things, and smoking weed in the garage. The upstairs neighbor drops things on purpose, always stomping, etc. And it's only one person upstairs. We've had about 3 complaints made to the office because the noise was not necessary, didn't seem like the office did anything because it kept continuing until we moved out. We've had bunch of bug problems. Ants in our pantry, sink, and in our food. Also had those black bugs that look like they had a stinger. And tiny roaches, that would also appear on our bed. The same pest control employee kept coming out and even though we had bug problems, he was very nice and tried to help as much as he could. The leasing office employees are nice, but some of them do not know their stuff. We've asked two employees about the parking, one of them said we had to pay $20, the other said we needed a doctor's letter?One of the ladies is also friends with the neighbor who switches out their motorcycle with their truck.. We lived on the very first floor and we got a complaint for screaming, yelling, etc. We do have a toddler but how does someone on the first floor get a complaint? We also got a parking warning for parking in a covered parking spot with a sign in front of it but no one ever parks there. You also have trash outside in the hallways, in the parking, and the garbage dump gets so full there's people who just throw their trash on the floor and it goes everywhere. The maintenance guys literally pick up the trash and make sure the garbage isn't full. Lastly, the apartment is very cheaply made. They don't use a protective coat for the paint so marks can be made whenever. The cabinets are scratched up. You can see the multiple repairs they've made on the closet door, and on the door frames. Our door to the bathroom was uneven and can be opened when locked. They didn't really clean anything before we moved in and the tub floor was already black. ONE LAST THING, this apartment has had multiple cars broken into and had things stolen from them, another big important reason why we felt unsafe here! read more

Living here has been great! I've lived in two separate units and haven't had any troubles. Maintenance is on it within a day or two. Dean in the office has great customer service and all the maintenance men are respectful. Don't live in any of the units by the major roads, they will be noisy. Oh wow my day was super full today. So the husband and I decided to check out these little diamond chips once again. We have been to view them a few times and yes we are in love with them. just moved into these apartments and was working with Vicki through the whole process. she was amazing! answered any questions we had as it was our first apartment. she walked us through each step with patience, and was just as excited for us as we were! upon move in, there were a few minor issues through the initial apartment inspection (missing blinds on patio door, fan string stuck) but vicki was on top of it! our first apartment & moving experience was seamless and amazing because of the phenomenal customer service from vicki! 2 of my sisters have also lived here at one point and loved it as well. even all the neighbors in my building are so kind and welcoming! so far loving it !! read more

I moved to Loreto & Palacio apartments last month and I've had the worst experience with staff. repairs were not done until more than a month later. staff did not inform me maintenance was re-entering my unit. the maintenance man Todd Robinson went through my drawers (my personal belongings) he stole things from me. when I notified the manager she did nothing. corporate was worse. I spoke with Marie at the corporate office. she just passed me to someone else. This is the most unprofessional apartment complex I have ever lived in. Theft is acceptable. DONT MOVE HERE!!! Police report was provided. Nothing was done to the employee. I was told it's his word against mine. I live alone with my dog. Todd Robinson was the only person in my unit when I was at work. What a warm welcome for a new tenant. If you don't mind chasing staff down to remind about repairs that were done a month later, and not receiving a call when maintenance re-enters your unit, your drawers look through and your things stolen. I have nothing but great things to say about this place. I stopped by Loreto to tour and Kayla helped me who was very very nice and sweet helped me look at multiple floor plans. A few days later I stopped back by because the unit I wanted was taken off the site so I wanted to look at my other options and Kayla wasn't in that day so Renita was kind enough to help me look at 3 or 4 different units and floor plans she was absolutely AMAZING very patient extremely kind was blown away by the amazing units right along with me. There has been kitty litter and cat poop in the hall wall to the parking lot for 4 days . Ive called multiple times and it's still there . The employees are lazy and don't wanna maintain their property. Trash will sit around for a weeks before it's picked up . Clearly the tenants are disgusting too and don't take pride in where they live. Tenants never pick up their dog poop. They need to fire their property managers , they are not doing their jobs . Lived here for 1.5 years, overall good experience. Location was very convenient for work and dining/shopping. Unit: Very average, a couple of appliances had to be fixed or replaced, but maintenance was very prompt to respond quickly to issues. Management: Never had a problem with billing and the move-out process. Always was able to receive packages on-time. Neighbors: Can be very noisy at times with car stereos in the parking lot. Occasionally would see trash or pet mess, but ground crew was prompt to clean it up usually next day. Overall, I would recommend moving here and getting a garage unit as well. read more

I do not even know where to begin?Everything about this place is a joke , from their racist manager to their leasing agents whom have no respect & or "customer service ". According to "Wendy" the old property manager , the leasing agents are NOT required to carry the good customer service trait . "They are sales people , that is not in their job description" . So keep in mind , when you go into the office.Those are the only people who you are going to be able to speak with . Just let the sink in , it is legit the equivalent of talking to a wall. Although the wall will not make rude remarks & or roll their eyes.Yes that happens. Do not be fooled by the beautiful property they show you ,go further into the property & see the real damage that has been done.From broken lamp posts that lay aside the side walk ,to the jacuzzi's that are layered in a film residue. While viewing the property they will tell you that there is two of everything because both loreto & palacio became one giant property. Do not let them get you with that , yes the two gyms are usually open regularly. As far as the bussiness centers , only the loreto side is open. The printer has been out of ink for about a month now, they have to order the ink .Still no ink. must be one hell of a distributor to wait over a month for some ink .The club houses look decent when you model them ,but you will soon learn that fancy coffee maker never works ,you can never actually cast to the TV in there (we were told we could cast movies from our phones to the TV) ,the seating is like sitting in a college class room , & it's only open during bussiness hours so if you work a 9-5 might as well say goodbye to that amenity .As far as the pools go , half the summer only the palacio side pool was open .So you have roughly 700 units using one pool. Which is not a resort sized pool .It's a medicore sized pool that looks like the YMCA pool because of how many people are shoulder to shoulder in there. Please be aware that the models they show you are on the LOERTO side. If you end up with an apartment on the PALACIO side your apartment will NOT look like the model .You will have a dark style cabinet with a super ugly tan countertop .Great contrast there .Also your wood floor will not be that nice gray type color that was in the model.No, you will get an ugly tan colored wood as well .I ended up signing a lease on the palacio side of the property & was very discouraged when I saw my actual unit. Looks very tacky. I will add pictures so those will be available. We had moved in Febuary 2018, we did not have the heat on.Yet our power bill was still the high 80's .We are on the third floor ,so someone is above us & below us .During the summer ,our power bill went pretty high. Closer to the 200s range. So just keep in mind these are NOT energy efficient.During the summer our air conditioner went out a total of 3 times!The first 2 times they just kept adding refrigerant to our compressor.The 3rd time our compressor completely shot.Meaning we needed a new compressor.Of course this had to happen on a Friday. So we were without an actual air conditioner until Tuesday.4 days with our apartment being 85+ .During that time they gave us 2 portable a/c units. Our apartment is 1200 sqft.instead of just relocating us & or providing a hotel room they slapped those portables in there.Within those 4 days it made my power bill increase $40.I also had to move my SERVICE ANIMAL to a safer location because it was too hot & a threat to my her. (Super illegal of them to do by the way ).We had also put in 10+ work orders previously on our air conditioner because it would run for hours and only go down a degree or two. It could never just keep a steady temp.They were negligent towards our A/C. Had they properly taken care of the problem in the first place we might have had air on those 117° days.THE BIGGEST ISSUE:*your water , sewer, and trash bill*Every month you will get a statement in the mail from "CONservice".The bill we broken down into 4 segments.Trash, sewer, water, service fee. Trash & sewer seem to stay the same every month .As for the water.Haha.It is a legit joke. Back in February 2018 we were paying $18.96 for 2960 gallons of water ,as of September 2018 bill we were paying $42.89 for 2990 gallons of water.So only a 30 gallons difference yet a $20+ increase on my bill.I've spoken to both conservice and the regional manager.Both of them just send me in circles. I've talked to the Las vegas water district as well & they have not had an increase in their water prices since January 2018. This parking lot is by far the worst I've seen for an apartment complex. To the point that it makes it less enjoyable to live here. It's rare that you'll be able to park even semi-near to where you live. Many spots are so compact that people are constantly parking on and over the lines. It's so bad, I've literally chose to stay home rather than going out to enjoy myself. As I know if I return even a smidge too late I'll have to walk a quarter mile back to my home, And another qt. mile to go to work in the morning. Not to mention the apologizing for the horrendous parking to every visitor you invite over. It's so odd to me that this extra large complex of apartments where given such limited and tiny parking spots. My advice: learn to park backwards. It's seemingly the only way to not have to spend 10 minutes awkwardly fitting in between an F150 truck and a Toyota whose an inch over the line. Or take the parking into consideration before moving in, like I so desperately wish I had! read more

A little background: I've never moved my entire childhood, so packing and moving is pretty foreign to me. When I left home as an adult, whatever fit in my suitcase is what came with me to Las Vegas. That's the most moving experience I've ever had in moving. After living in Las Vegas for 10 years, we decided it was time to move into a single level home. While we wait for the home to be built, we had to downsize and move into an apartment. Enter the stress! Apartment hunting, storage hunting, finding movers, getting renters insurance, and more. Here comes Palacio. By the time we got to Palacio, I was done. D. O. N. E. with apartment hunting. Thank God Mimi was was there from the time we walked through the doors. She helped us make the move-in process as simple as possible. She explained what we needed to do, ensured we had the right amount of storage space (2 enclosed garages), took us on a tour of a few apartments, and was honest about everything. I don't remember what it was, but there was something that I didn't like. She agreed and didn't try to sell us on why it wasn't bad. That, to me, was golden. I appreciated the transparency and I was sold on moving in. Mimi responds to emails in a very timely manner, remains professional, and is always pleasant to work with. The property. Much cleaner than most of the other properties we visited in the NW. Throughout the whole process, I learned another property we visited is owned by the same company (Picerne). That property is very clean as well. It was actually our first choice because of location, but 6-month leases were unavailable. The gym equipment at Palacio and Loreto is great. I have not seen any broken equipment so far. Swimming pools are nice and clean. BBQ grills are always clean; I tend to spot check them whenever I'm down there. Why? I don't know. I'm a clean person . When I decide to use them, I want to be prepared and know what to expect on cleanliness. We don't subscribe to cable or satellite, so we've used the gathering area a few times to watch football. The downside is it closes when the office closes. I wish it stayed opened longer. Or until security is not present. The staff. Have I mentioned Mimi? She's great! The other gals in the office are really nice too. We once had my pet in the coffee room and didn't know my pet wasn't allowed in there. One of the office gals reminded us in a nice way that pets weren't allowed in there. I didn't get the names of the maintenance guys when they came to switch out lights to the energy efficient lights. They were very nice as well. The residents. Most say hi and are friendly. Some seem to be having a bad day, every time I try to say hi. That's okay, I'll still smile. Don't want my car keyed. Ha! My work place is close to this property, so I've run into a few people I've served in the past. It's nice to see people I get to help at work live in the same area. Kind of makes it feel like a friendlier atmosphere. The parking. Can't complain! There's always a lot of parking. We never have to worry if we're going to find parking that's close to the apartment. Overall, the place is nice and quiet. We can't hear our neighbors radios or TV's. Living on the 2nd floor, we sometimes hear a toddler running above us. That quickly stops. I'm guessing it's a courteous parent telling their child not to run. When it's time to move out, it'll be bittersweet. I'll keep recommending this property and all other Picerne properties. Update: Loteto has asked me to contact them via message below - every time I have contacted them they claim ignorance, demand money from me, refuse to take this charge off my credit report making it ore difficult for me to move to another rental due to their negligence, and do not help me at all. I cannot recommend anyone deal with this company especially in such difficult times - there are many choices of places to live. This is slum lord behavior and they have illegally affected my credit with collections that do not belong to me due to their own negligence and tolerance of both animal abuse and unsafe living - you're health has never been more important. Do not live in this unsafe environment. This is a new low for any apartment I've ever lived at. I had a very clear and obvious health hazard (photo evidence) that my neighbors were letting their dogs urinate all night and day in their balcony - making my balcony unusable and my window facing rooms due to the smell, I couldn't even open my windows anymore especially when the tenant would use noxious chemicals to clean it once in a blue moon which they also dumped over the side of the permanently stained balcony and walls. I complained to management more than once, a health hazard releases a person from a lease. However - my lease was up anyway and I gave proper notice o was moving out. I got a $1400 bill and I sent photos again to management and I was still reported to a credit agency. The slum lord is who needs to be reported - I walked by my old apartment 2 months later and was stunned to see the stains still on the outside of the building from the daily urination of these dogs on the balcony - this is also animal cruelty. Yet I am the one who had to move and on top of that - be punished for it by having a ding to my credit. I will not pay Loreto for what was done to me, unfairly. This is not my expense. This complex is also dangerous and inhabited by people who commit crimes and likely do not pay rent / section 8. I truly loved living at these apartments. Never had any major issues the entire time I was there. The only real (minor) issues I had were that parking can get a little tough and I wish there had been more natural light in my floor plan. Apartments were very well insulated although I lived on the 2nd floor. They also had elevators which made the move-in and move-out process way easier. If it weren't so out of the way, I definitely would have released. read more
