This is my one of my favorite TexMex restaurants around. They started across the street in a hotel that had several restaurants come and go, and they did well enough to move into this new location. I was very pleased with the quick service, great food and the courteous and attentive wait staff assigned to us. HOWEVER, as soon as my last family member finished eating we were brought our ticket was rushed out as they wanted our table for other customers. I have never had this happen in my life! Ate here for the 1st time today and loved it. Great food and service. Definitely a better atmosphere than most Mexican restaurants. Our waitress was 100% on top of everything. The cheese dip is great as is the chips & slasa. The Fajitas Tapatia was excellent and a single order was plenty to share with the wife. Washed it all down with a ice cold Miller Lite. Poor food I and got extremely ill a few hours after eating it. I had the Fajita Chimichangas and got very ill. I also had to be cheese dip which I thought would be similar to Chile Con Queso. It was NOT. Very bland with little flavor and poor quality chips. This was not really a mexican restaurant. It was not even a Tex-Mex restaurant. We have visited this restaurant since the day they opened the new location as they have outside seating during Covid. We have gone every Wednesday night as a family. The bill is normally around 100 bucks and i normally tip 30%. Last week we were asked to leave after an hour. We only had our food for 15 minutes. We thought they were joking but they told is again to leave because they had an hour dining limit! We will NEVER go back. We looked back over 6 months and we spent $2317 there. It's average Mexican food at its best. With my experience, everything seemed to be off. Tortilla chips tasted stale. The salsa wasn't the usual thin watery stuff, which I appreciate, but it wasn't great. The queso was thin. I had fajitas that were fine, and plentiful. Stingy with tortillas. The missus had a Pollo Loco, and she mostly picked at it and took it to go. The service was good. Prices were reasonable. In an area filled with Mexican Restaurants, this one does not stand out. We were talking with some friends about eating there, and we looked at each other and laughed. That sums it up pretty well. read more

Ok, one word... Oscar! The service that guy gives is off the charts and he does it so effortlessly! We stumbled upon Los 3 Potrillos for a late dinner (which is almost an impossible feat in the area) and thankfully this spot was open! I'm new to the area, and found out the hard way that dining after 9pm is a tall order in Conway, but L3P saved the day! When we arrived the place was in disarray, there were un-bused tables everywhere, but once we were seated, Oscar made us cast our cares aside. He made recommendations, and we ordered. Margaritas, tacos, guacamole, chimichangas, fajitas... We had it all, and it was DELISH! We will return to see Oscar, in all his glory, hoping that the restaurant's ambiance is more up to par earlier in the day! But... In the meantime, Oscar for President! read more

We went to Los Tres with great anticipation but we're quite disappointed. We ordered the guacamole, and it was very flat tasting. Hubs got the fajitas. I ordered the carnitas. They were charred on the outside, overcooked, with barely any seasoning. Portions were nice though. Not sure we would go back since there are a million other Mexican restaurants in town to try. This is one of the best Mexican restaurants in Conway, but they're experiencing some hiccups at their new location. First of all, parking is a huge problem on busy nights. I came at 5 on Saturday, and the lot was full. We had to circle for some time to find a place. The rest of our party parked at a gas station across the street. A sign went up later warning people not to park in the Super 8 motel nearby. The wait was quoted at 35 minutes, but we weren't seated for almost an hour. Dozens of customers came in, saw the huge wait, and immediately left. When we were finally seated, there were several open tables that stayed open for long periods even though they were on a huge wait. I also noticed a few staff members just standing around for long periods of time while others were working hard to serve customers. Luckily, we had a good server who kept us filled up on chips and drinks while we waited for our food. We had to wait for food for quite a while. Once the food arrived, everything was tasty. I'm not sure if the issues are being caused by a slow kitchen or inefficiency by the front of the house, but I really hope they figure it out. All told, we spent close to 3 hours here. It might be better to plan to go on a weeknight at least until they figure some things out. read more

First experience here, the staff was friendly. The food was great. Though they forgot to bring out certain items they were quick to rectify it when mentioned. The only other problem we had was that the server would walk past us often and not give us refills. We had to flag him down but the food was great! They have create your own specials and definitely do substitutions. read more

After 35 minutes we called and they said they tried calling but no answer... whatever Shouldn't have waited as long as we did but we were really looking forward to trying this place out and of course we love Mexican food The Cadillac margarita was awesome, however the waiter offered my 19 year old daughter the shot of orange liqueur that came on the side wtf? Made her feel uncomfortable.. anyway, food was alright, we definitely didn't leave hungry, price was reasonable. If you are thinking about placing an online order with this place don't bother. You have to wait in you vehicle for over an hour while people keep coming to your car asking for you name and online order number then they go in the building and don't come back out for 30 minutes while someone different comes out asking you the same whats your name and online order number only to disappear back in building for another 30 minutes. read more

Terrible place to eat!!! Went three times in the hopes of something better, but it didn't happen always over cooked, always the wrong food, always a long wait to get the wrong food(45min wait for wrong food and 25 min wait to correct food and it was over cooked third and final time going). Will never eat here again they have no clue what their doing. read more

I generally love this place but there are a couple flaws for me. First the staff. Some of them just seem like they're not enjoying their time, which is justifiable, yet it doesn't make for the best guest experience when almost all of the staff appears that way. Also be sure to be extra specific when ordering. One day I ordered the chicken fajitas and said "no bell pepper or other veggies" and it came back with no bell peppers but it did have tomato and onions. I asked politely to send it back but the waiter said that if I did they would have to charge me for an extra plate. I said I couldn't afford that because I was paying for other people as well but he came out with an extra one made correctly anyway without charge. The food, however, is pretty good. Only a couple complaints. The salsa seems to have a lot more tomato chunks rather than a purée, but that's just my preference. The carne Asada is extremely chewy, but then again that could've just been my specific cut of meat I got. Overall it's a very good place, seems pretty clean as well read more

Definitely my fav Mexican restaurant in Conway! I've eaten here three times in the past week, and had the tacos two out of the three. They are just about as close authentic as any I've had. The 3 Potrillos special is awesome, and I couldn't eat all of it. The ceviche is also very good.
