My experience with Los Angeles Legalese goes back 4 years when I filed for divorce and hired their lawyer to represent me (thinking its affordable when compared with other lawyers). The owner asked for a down payment of a 1,000 dollars and called me after 2 days for a another payment which was a bit over 2k (our original agreement was 2 K, but then he said that it was a misunderstanding and he said it was 3 K. 1K deposit and 2 K to follow,). Then he called me after 2 weeks asking for more money since the lawyer raised her fees (me being young at the time and scared from going to court agreed and asked my parents for money) Few weeks later, I get a call from him asking me to come to the office because they changed the lawyer and I need to sign new papers. So I went to his office and signed the papers. Once I signed the papers he told me I owe them another 2K since this is a new lawyer and the previous one took the money I paid previously. Of course I disagreed, and end up taking the signed papers with me and looking for a real law firm to represent me (Which by the way costed me less than the amount being charged by Los Angeles Legales). This later proved to be the best decision I made. My new lawyer contacted the lawyer who use to work with Los Angeles Legales and asked her for the money back. However, the lawyer stated she never received any money for Los Angeles Legales and any money I paid the owner took. Couple of interesting facts - the owner told me he is a licensed lawyer who works on immigration case. which was not true. He is a musician - He prayed on my fear and kept asking for money that was not even being given to the lawyer. - If this would have happened to me now, I would have came after him in court. unfortunately then I had to leave the country for 2 years. - My new lawyer only charged me $ 1,800 because my case was very easy. This amount was way less what Los Angeles Legales asking for. read more

Don't use their service. 1st off Michael is illiterate he couldn't spell if his life counted on it. 2nd of all he's confused, he doesn't know if he wants to be in the legal business or in the singing business so he won't be fully concentrated on your case. (By the way he's horrible at singing) I'd advise him not to quit his day job to pursue a singing career as he would fail miserably. AVOID. Michael is an incompetent, dishonest man, will not even give you a cash receipt, or acknowledge that I paid cash, even when you I have a video of him accepting a cash payment !!! He will drag your case to the very last minute, and then demand a rush fee to complete it. That is predatory. (I read a review he did this to someone else too) He is not a lawyer yet he represents to be doing the work of one, by suggesting which laws to sue under and writing defective pleadings. He is REALLY BAD AT SPELLING IN ENGLISH, which will harm your legal case. I would have sued him for fraud had I still lived in LA, and if anyone has a similar issue and wants to sue him, please contact me and I will testify for you.
