This is my second review with LA Singles. I initially reviewed about my experience signing up with the service and now I get to talk about the results. I have to say I didn't know what to expect at first. I'm a never married woman with no children in my early 30's. I want to start by honestly saying that is NOT a quick fix approach to dating. I found that many of the modern issues of dating didn't go away by using this service. I have had about 5 dates within a year of signing up with the service. I met with men between the ages of 30-43. Each one had a different personality and carried themselves differently. Everyone of them were decent men. They were passionate about what they did and very much willing to treat me to fantastic dates. I went to amazing restaurants, walks along the beach, and museum trips. I even went on multiple dates with some as we got to know each other. I felt that at the very least everyone of them provided good company and an opportunity to get to know different parts of the LA scene. But this experience didn't free me from the challenges of normal dating. I had challenges in communication with some or our life goals didn't quite align. With others, our expectations and realities didn't match. And yes, I didn't always feel a strong physical attraction to them. No matter what you do. Like the Phil Collins' song "You can't hurry love". It's a journey and the possibility of getting your heartbroken will always be there. For me, this service, I have to say, is a great alternative to online dating however. It allowed me to still continue looking for someone special but relinquish that responsibility to someone else. Someone who had my best interests in mind. It ended the constant scrolling and swiping. You don't get to see pictures of your dates before meeting them in person. So you need to have the ability to let go of that control and put your shallowness to the test. I highly recommend deleting any dating apps while you're using this service. It's too distracting. Try one thing at a time. So in the end....did I find love? I'm currently with a Santa Monica man I met with LA Singles. He would be the fifth or sixth introduction. By that time, he and I were very jaded from dating and we were reluctant to meet at first. The first date by the Santa Monica Pier was surprisingly amazing, and we soon realized in the middle of it that something special was brewing between us. He is obsess with me as I am obsess with him. He's the Virgo man I didn't know I needed. I'm an Aries by the way. I'm enjoying every minute with him so far. He's truly a special person. This company stands behind everything they told me I would get. I was on many dating Apps as I am super busy successful person who does not have time to go out much and it is hard for me to meet like minded people who are just as successful and down to earth. Ivette is a life saver and so is Steve! Ivette took her time explaining how everything worked, listened to all my hardships I have had meeting the right partner which has seemed impossible. She made me feel not only comfortable, but confident to come in and see what could be done. This place is AMAZING. I had my initial interview with Steve, who was extremely professional, kind, and took all the details as to what I was seeking in my potential partner and he went far and beyond excellence. Less than 10 days after I signed up, I went on only 2 dates, and the second person I went on a date with (which is now who I am madly in love with,) was the best decision I have ever made and I know it would have not occurred if it weren't for Ivette, Steve and my matchmaker. I rarely write reviews, but I had to take a few minutes to write this and say that I am eternally grateful, happier than ever and now with the match of my dreams (actually better) and we are going 7 months strong! If you are very busy, dislike dating apps, and simply just want a direct amazing matchmaking, they are excellent! Throughout the whole process you will enjoy every minute. I feel fortunate to have found this company and my message to anyone reading this is to not give up hope in love. It may take more than 2 people to go out on dates with, but it is worth it for anyone that wants the right partner for them. I highly recommend this company if you are looking for a real true match. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY! This matchmaking service is TERRIBLE! I was matched with a male member who punched me in the face and knocked out my tooth causing significate amount of medical expenses. LA singles did not do their due diligence in doing a background check on this guy because I found out that he had a previous criminal record for a prior battery before he moved to California. LA singles did not warn me at all. I tried contacting Steve the director who set up my membership and he will not call me back and I paid a hefty fee to get set up with a qualified man and what I got was a MONSTER!!. This guy told me that he did not have to do as much as I did nor did he have to pay the fee because he knew the director at OC singles. DO NOT trust these people ..all they care about is money they don't screen people like they should and they don't have qualified men requiring thorough background checks making the female members a target for criminals they have in their database. The guy members are not eligible bachelors they are criminals seeking to meet innocent women looking for marriage and destroy their lives and these criminals found LA singles to hunt down innocent women. When I attempted to write a review about my experience LA singles calls me constantly to take it down. They don't care what happened to me or anyone that is unhappy with their services. This is the worst experience of my life, and I can blame LA singles, steve and the unqualified matchmakers for meeting this disgusting monster. read more

I want to revise my previous review. Unfortunately, the partner I thought I'd met was not who they purported to be - they had lied on the application. I have also been matched with people who acted very inappropriately, with those who refused to drive the distance between us, and with those who were simply not good matches. While I realize that there are certain things outside of the service's control, there are things within their control - like the promise I was made when I signed on, which was that they would continue to match me with potential mates, even if the number of my "allotted matches" ran out/did not pan out. This promise then changed - and I was recently told that I was no longer being actively matched. I was told I might get a call if someone new signed up that no one else in their system was a match for who was still considered "active". That is not right. I'm the kind of person who believes that promises should be kept. It's good protocol, good business, and simply the right thing to do. I'm very disappointed, because I do still believe that a good match is out there for me. It's just a shame that this service is not keeping their word to keep looking for that match on my behalf. I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Steven Todd today. We had a phone call prior to our meeting where he was very warm and informative about what they have to offer. We then scheduled an in person meeting and interview which I had today. The office was super posh, lovely and filled with happy people. I filled out some papers while hearing some Frank Sinatra in the background. I then got brought into Steven's office where he delightfully walked me through everything. He was genuinely interested in everything I had to say and seemed so excited to be able to connect me with the best possible matches & quality men in LA! I had just had a horrible experience with an online dating service last week and didn't know what to expect.. I want to start by saying that everything happens in divine timing. With that said, I joined LA Singles in December 2019 after a terrible heartbreak. I wanted the bleeding to stop and signed up hoping to find Mr. Right immediately. Well, the universe had other plans for me. While LA Singles was on the search for the right man, I was not in the right frame of mind. So, I was manifesting the wrong men. Every man I was introduced to through LA Singles was not working out due to one thing or another. It took me over one year to reflect and get to a place where I could manifest the person of my desires. In December 2020, he joined LA Singles and we were introduced to one another by Lisa (thank you to Lisa for having to listen to all my feedback to find me a good match). Bottom line, you have to love yourself first to find the "right" person for you. Life works in mysterious ways, and while LA Singles can do their best, they can't work miracles without your patience, willing to meet various individuals, give feedback, and eventually meet the person that can fulfill your dreams. Having spent more than enough time searching online for that special person with whom to share my life, I decided to give this a try. The fact that it cost a bit of money was actually a plus (and knowing that the women also pay the same) as you know you will find people who are sincere about it. They have some "skin in the game." I met Steven, the Director, after hours (and was impressed that he stayed late for me and did not try to rush the interview). He laid it out very well and I was in. I had the good fortune to be assigned to Lisa as my matchmaker. We have not met but have had great phone conversations. I can tell that she is quite dedicated to her job and to finding me someone who will be a good match. She truly feels like a friend, not just a person working for/with me. It didn't happen all at once, and there were a couple dry spells (I'm a bit older than most of the members, I imagine). I have been very skeptical of any on line dating. I am middle aged and never had a problem meeting nice women. I live in a good area and just didn't feel the on line dating services were worth it. They are reasonable in how much they charge for their services and you get your money's worth. I made an appointment to come in to get started and I found the staff to be extremely hospitable. They offered me a choice of beverages before taking me to a private room to fill out several forms for the purpose of not only finding out about you, in order to match you up with people, but they also needed information to do a background check to make sure that when you are matched with someone and you go out with them, that you are safe. Especially in a world like we live in today. I filled out the forms I met the director, Steve who made me feel real comfortable. I've always been very specific and critical about the types of people I want to be matched with and my many deal-breakers, which I'm certain makes her job difficult, yet every person that I've been matched with has fit into those narrow parameters and has been a great person in their own right. It's not LA Singles's or Allison's fault I'm so picky and/or that I'm not every one's cup of tea. The online dating services are horrible. I feel most of the time the information or very little was given to get to know who you would be dating.
