LA First Dates refunded my $25. They refunded it like a dog. Very weak, very low energy company. So sad. When I began this fight for my refund, people told me, "Sir, this is going to be a very hard fight. Maybe impossible." But I said, "That's ok." They said, "No one's done this before." But I did. The people were so sad, they thought I'd never get this. Five events LA First Dates canceled on me. Can you believe that? You'd think maybe one or two, maybe three. But five? There's just no way, they said. No way. But they did. The last one was canceled on Sept 11th, 2025. They said in my profile I attended, but it was a hoax. The whole thing was an inside job. And everybody knows it. It's a disgrace, and in many ways, no one could get a refund. Not when you're up against that. But I did. LA First Dates has been going to hell and fast, a complete disaster, the likes of which have never been seen. People were demoralized. They said, sir, the money's gone. They said, it's hopeless. But I fought, and 330+ days later I got my refund. I think it makes people happy to see me get my money back.
I said I'd donate this to the LA Regional Food Bank. But then I went, wait, why should I donate it? It's my money. I worked a long time, very long, to get that money. Nobody worked harder than me. Or works harder than me. Many people don't have jobs anymore. It's very sad. They said, sir, what's the point of having a job if our money just goes down the toilet? And that's what happens. Many people say this.
So the money's mine. I should be able to keep it. And in many ways, I am. But I donated it to the LA Regional Food Bank. People said, sir, you can't do that, it's your money. You need to eat. You work so hard to keep us happy. And it's true. I didn't want people to worry. But I said, that's ok, I'll donate it. And I did. It made people very happy to see me donate the $25 that LA First Dates refunded to me to the LA Regional Food Bank. They couldn't believe it. They said, sir, no one's ever done this before. But I did. People said, "Sir, how can they do this to you? You're such a good person." And I am, and it was very sad that they wouldn't give me my money back. But they did.
People told me, "Sir, sir, how can you keep such grace when you're being treated so terribly? You're like Jesus." Many people said, I am Jesus. But I said, no, I'm not Jesus. Though in many ways, I am Jesus. I'm not materialistic at all. The Dalai Lama once said to me, "Sir, you're so unmaterialistic. I've never seen it before." I said, "Don't tell anyone." Because I don't like to brag. He said, "You should be the next Dalai Lama." And it's true, I should. But I won't, because the people need me here. It makes them happy that I'm here in LA.
It was a very long fight. But in many ways, it was short. Because with my supporters on my side, no struggle is too long. But make no mistake, it was a long fight. I appreciate my supporters. Congratulations to all of you who supported me, you're very smart people.
I got my refund, the likes of which has never been seen. I promised my supporters I'd do it. And I did. I did it for them. We're much stronger now, much happier. But LA First Dates should never do this to anyone again. They thought they could keep my $25, and for a long time they did. Sometimes I thought I'd never get it back. But in many ways, I did think I'd get it back, and I did.
Thank you for your attention to this matter!
