Found this place through fate! 2 years back in the midst of the pandemic, my friends and I we're driving back from sequoia national park back to our Airbnb and stumbled upon this place by chance. The restaurant was closed at the time as it was night time, but we were attracted by the bright lights of the food truck! We enjoyed the tacos and horchata and have been raving about it since. Knowing we'd be in the area once more on another sequoia trip, we knew we had to re-visit. Our Airbnb was located in Visalia and it looks like they have another location there as well, however, after calling, I confirmed that it isn't the exact same menu and it's owned by different brothers. Knowing this, I knew I had to go back to the exact location we went to last. This time around, I opted for 2 carne asada tacos and 2 Al pastor tacos. The tacos each come with raw finely chopped onion, pico de gallo and guacamole, with perfectly grilled onions and jalapeño on the side. The carne asada meat was perfectly cooked per usual and it had a delicious smoky flavor and the al pastor was just as delicious! Horchata - not too overpowering and perfectly sweetened. If I ever find myself in central cali, I'll be back in a heartbeat! Wife wanted to try this place, "everyone says it's so good" she said. Went over this afternoon, Saturday before Mother's Day. Service was fine- the two stars are for that. We were three adults, two children. We sat outside, they have three patio tables, kind of close together for my comfort but others may be fine. The children had chicken strips and fries, they were fine but it's hard screw up "fry & serve" type food. The adults shared: Camarones ajo Camarones diablo Tacos de birria Tacos de asada Menudo We also had several bottles of sodas & horchata. Nobody enjoyed the menudo, shrimp Diablo was 'alright', shrimp ajo had an obscene amount of garlic- the already minced from a jar kind. I literally could only taste the garlic. I love garlic, but I couldn't even finish my plate. Tortillas are homemade, probably, but bland af. Literally tasted like nothing, possibly because the garlic was so overwhelming. First initial thoughts. Food I got was great. Carnitas burrito no onions and had a ton of flavor. It wasn't bland like I've had before. Service was great food came out fast. My firefighting crew called in about 50 burritos give or take. They had em all hot and ready for us when we got there. Would definitely recommend for a quick bite. read more

We had a work meeting in central valley and since there aren't many restaurants around we decided to try Los Arbalitos and I'm glad we did. I had their shrimp taco and grilled chicken quesadilla. The shrimp taco was outstanding! The shrimp was super fresh and such a good combo with the other ingredients. Same goes with the quesadilla, perfectly cooked meat and just good food. This review is for the taco truck in the parking lot, Tacos Guey, which is essentially the after-hours operations for Los Arbolitos. We ordered an al pastor burrito, 2 carne asada tacos, an horchata, and hamburger with fries. The only part of the order that was good was the horchata. The hamburger was just a frozen hockey puck patty, which is expected at a taco truck, but I swear the fires were just microwaved or something. They were not fried and both soggy and a little crunchy at the same time from being not fully cooked. The masa must have been dry for the corn tortillas because when we got home with the food, the tortillas on the tacos had split in half on the fold. The al pastor burrito was bad. The meat was ground up like ground beef or maybe a chili grind. No onions or pineapple in it as in expected with al pastor and the seasoning tasted like maybe the same they use for birria or something. It had a definite clove/cinnamon flavor. It was not good. Their salsas were bad as well. The verde salsa was bland and the rojo salsa was essentially chipolte adobo. read more

Went to the night time operation Tacos Way. This is the real deal. Best burrito in Tulare County the Barbaqoa Quesaburro! We also got a torta and three tacos and it was all perfect. Friendly staff and loud music at 930pm! This burrito could feed three people easily and reminds me of what San Francisco mission burritos used to be 20 years ago. I'm gonna start with the atmosphere and vibe which was a very clean and fresh place but since the Covid going on, it's not yet open to dine in so we had to eat in car which I don't mind. Starting with food, my carnitas burrito was not good at all! Meat was to dry and in big chunks and no flavor which I was a bit disappointed also burrito had more beans and rice than meat which I didn't care because meat was bad. We live in Exeter and decided it was about time we tried this hot spot. Sunday lunch seemed like the perfect opportunity. The large parking lot was packed, as was the inside so we took this as a good sign. The procedure to order is to order up front and they bring out your meal to your table. I ordered the 2 carne asada tacos, rice and beans and my husband decided on the torta. We ordered drinks as well. About 20 minutes pass before someone drops off chips and pico de gallo. No drinks still at this point. The pico was awful. Zero flavor, completely bland. Also they keep every seasoning on the table including oregano for some odd reason but you won't find salt period. And we needed it for the pico which was in dire need of some salt, lemon, and jalapeños. Finally after another 15 minute long wait, we received our lunch and drinks. My tacos rice and beans came on three separate plates. I didn't understand the logic behind that but whatever. We were not given silverware so I had to flag down our server to ask for setting. She seemed confused and she asked if we both wanted forks. Ummm yes please. The taco was decent. Tortilla was homemade , that you could tell, but the taco itself contains only meat, beans, and that sorry excuse for pico. No cabbage or cheese. The rice and beans were decent and my husband said that his torta was good, he liked the meat. Bottom line, the pico sucks ass so eat your chips with the table chili that is in the squeeze bottle, and the service stinks.
