On top of that, his own burrito was missing three ingredients that he specifically requested. When he politely tried to address the issues, the owner of this location was very disrespectful. Several customers who witnessed the interaction even commented that the owner should not have handled the situation that way. Instead of trying to resolve the problem or simply remaking the burritos, they refused to serve him, even though we had already paid $51 for two burritos and two drinks. Save your money and spend it somewhere that values its customers and is willing to make things right when there is a problem. By far one of the worse restaurants I have been too.

I didn't manage to finish my meal, so I took it to go and enjoyed it the next day. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was still delicious. Overall, Los Panchos is a solid spot for a satisfying meal, especially on a hot day, and I would definitely recommend it!

I'd buy a tub of it without hesitation. I saw a daily special, two enchiladas with rice and beans, and ordered that along with a strawberry wine margarita, mostly out of curiosity. When it arrived blended, I expected a sangria‑tequila hybrid. Instead, it tasted like nothing. Just cold, blended liquid with no real identity. Before I could figure it out, the food hit the table, fast. Less than five minutes. The rice and beans had no flavor. Salt helped, but only a little. The tiny salad on the plate didn't add anything for me. But the enchiladas were solid. I got them with ground beef, and the red sauce was flavorful, the beef seasoned well. Pico de gallo on top isn't my thing, but once everything blended together, I ate it up. I tried the margarita again mid‑meal. This time I could taste a faint wine note, like a very light blended sangria. Not something I'd order again, but definitely an experience. Honestly, Vallarta shines in two places: the salsa and the enchiladas. If they ever decide to serve proper sangrias in a few flavors, I'd come back just for that, and a basket of chips with that salsa.

I've had fresher churros and ice cream from a local food truck for almost half the cost, and unfortunately the dessert just left a lot to be desired for the $13 cost. The churros were fairly hard and the ice cream had ice chips throughout; I'm guessing it's not a frequently ordered dish. Flavor was great, but for $13 I would have expected better quality. All in all it was a satisfactory visit and I wouldn't be opposed to coming back!

Our Airbnb was located in Visalia and it looks like they have another location there as well, however, after calling, I confirmed that it isn't the exact same menu and it's owned by different brothers. Knowing this, I knew I had to go back to the exact location we went to last. This time around, I opted for 2 carne asada tacos and 2 Al pastor tacos. The tacos each come with raw finely chopped onion, pico de gallo and guacamole, with perfectly grilled onions and jalapeño on the side. The carne asada meat was perfectly cooked per usual and it had a delicious smoky flavor and the al pastor was just as delicious! Horchata - not too overpowering and perfectly sweetened. If I ever find myself in central cali, I'll be back in a heartbeat! Also, please note that the truck names tacos way is the same exact food as the restaurant called Los arbolitos, the restaurant just has an expanded menu.

The food at Alejandra's Mexican Restaurant is great. They sell burritos, tortas, quesadillas and more mexican food. The price for a quesadilla is $5 for the Exeter High School students. Also, the restaurant is near the school so it won't take you a long time to walk back to school. When it's lunchtime a lot of kids go to that restaurant to eat. They can call and order their food and when they get to the restaurant their food is ready and they already have a table so they can sit and eat their food. If you don't call, it takes them like 5-10 minutes to give you your food. The service is also great. They are very kind. If you need something and you ask them for something they will help you. Also if you didn't finish your food because you are full but you want to take it so you can eat it later you can ask them for a plate were you can put your food and take it with you. Alejandra's it's a sanitized place. When you finish your food they go to your table and clean the table. Also when you get there you can see your table clean. There are not left overs from other people food. You don't see trash on the table or plates that other people used. Yes their food is good but sometimes they give the order wrong. For example, if you ask for a quesadilla with asada sometimes they only give you the quesadilla but without the asada. Or if you ask for an orchata they give you lemonade. Maybe they commit errors because a lot of people go to that restaurant to eat. Is a really good restaurant. I think you should try their food. read more

The restaurant has very good authentic food. I have ordered many different things from this restaurant. I've ordered a taco a burrito and their nachos. The food was alway very good and never overcooked or undercooked everything was just right. Yet sometimes it can be very slow once we didn't even get our food before we had to go back to school or another time was when they didn't even give us our drinks. The place was very busy that day so that could've been why the service wasn't as good. The other days the service was great and they were very friendly. They always tried their best to get the food out fast and it was always hot never cold. They were always very polite and super friendly when taking my order and serving the food especially letting me know when the plate was going to be hot. The decor was very Hispanic looking with the look of an authentic Mexican restaurant with the paintings they have up and the way it looks on the inside. The size is very good except sometimes when it's packed it's hard to find a place to sit but other days it's fairly easy to find a place to sit. The price during school lunch is reasonable you get a whole taco rice and beans with salsa and chips served at first and a drink for just about five dollars to me this is a good deal. As a high school student lunch is my favorite time of day of course. Personally I have a very big appetite as it is, so when I'm hungry I need something very heavy and filling to eat. Also as a sports player for my school I need something healthy to eat that gives me fuel for practice after school. The place I would strongly recommend to eat at for lunch is Alejandras. Every time I eat there it's always what I'm expecting. A specific male worker that works there as a waiter is always very nice, caters to my needs and is very polite which puts me in a good happy mood. One thing that made me sad and upset is a certain female worker was rude to me and one of my friends, on separate occasions. I would strongly recommend you order beef taquitos. The beef taquitos come with beans, rice, sour cream, and guacamole. As a student I need to get back to school fast and I don't have time to waste. It's great that Alejandras gives you the option to text or call in ,so I can have my order ready right when I get there and it will still be hot. Two more great things about Alejandra's is they give a student discount so, it's a super good deal. All I have to pay is 4.95$. The second good thing about Alejandra's is it is very close to my school. It is a short walk there which is very good in bad weather conditions. Alejandra's is a place I go to a lot for lunch during school. Even my family goes there from time to time whenever we feel like going out and getting Mexican food. The food is good, especially the burritos, and my personal favorite is the bean cheese and rice burrito because of the size and taste for only $5. We choose Alejandra's over most of the other Mexican food places in Exeter. Now, one thing that I have noticed and why I'm giving them 3 instead of 5 stars, is the attitude towards the students. When my friends and I go out to eat there during lunch, they don't ask us how our day is, we aren't greeted with a smile, and after we pay and leave, we don't get a "Thank you have a nice day!" Now, the young women who give us our drinks are always friendly and have a smile, but it just seems like a few of the older ones are annoyed by us which is weird because my friends and I are never rude. read more

Alejandra's is a Mexican restaurant that is located in Exeter Ca. I go to Alejandra's at least once every 3 weeks, they remember my orders every time I walk in. Their food is great, and so are their prices. The restaurant can get full during lunch times when school is in. The service can be lackful at times, but the waiters are nice and respectful. It's a little of a long wait for the food but, I promise it's worth it. Student special go to 5 dollars everyday, and regular prices can range to 6 to 25 dollars. They have mostly anything mexican, their burritos are the best though. Their food is so good and made fresh. They are super sanitary and clean. Oh and their Horchata is the best!! read more

Alejandra's is a good place to eat because it always has good customer service. Any time i go there the waiter always has a smile on their face and a upbeat attitude. Anytime i am in the mood for some mexican food i can go there and it is always convenient. If i'm waiting i can have a conversation with the people around me or if i get my food i can start eating. The food there is really well cooked and anytime i can go there i will. You can call and they will have your food ready or you can dine in. So, if you have rowdy kids that can't sit still you can call and drive to get it or if you want to go out with friends you can eat there it is always convenient no matter your situation . read more

Alejandra's is a nice sit down Mexican style restaurant with tasty food. They are fairly quick with their food and their salsa and chips are deliciously made. I go there every week and am very satisfied every time. They have a nice atmosphere and a filling Student Special for high schoolers. The bathroom has a weird lock on the men's stall, but oh well. From what I've experienced, this restaurant has really bad service. The workers are also really rude, especially to the young. They are not very sanitary. I found hair in my food and gum stuck to the napkins. Most of the workers don't even speak English so they sometimes they get your order wrong and if you tell them that's not what you ordered they start to argue with you. I loved the food it was great especially the chips and salsa but the customer service depends on the person that is on duty. The portions have gotten noticeably smaller, however the prices continue to rise. What you are served is definitely not worth what Azul's charges you. This place used to be a regular go-to spot for myself when I am in Visalia, which is quite often. My sister & her husband were weekly regulars there & were (allegedly) friends with the owner. The last several times I've been there for a meal with my sister & BIL the owner has come over to say hello, but she has not seemed genuine or at all happy to see my sister & BIL. Instead, her "hellos" & the quick small talk that is expected of an owner greeting their regulars seemed incredibly forced & just completely inorganic. It was like she did not want us there, found it annoying that we were there, & did not appreciate our business at all. That made me feel very uncomfortable. The last time my family was there, it was my sister, mother, & their friend (a Visalia local) that were dining in. My mother picked up the check & paid by debit card & rounded up the just under $70 bill to $90 for the tip. When she looked at her bank statement a few days later, she discovered that the server had charged $100. My mom called my sister, who told her to call the owner & let her know what happened to make it right. They were trying to give the benefit of the doubt, but at the same time knew the chances of an experienced server mistaking a 2-digit total for a 3-digit total is highly unlikely. When my mother called the restaurant to speak to the owner, she kept my mother waiting on hold for the longest time. After the owner finally did come to the phone, she was very rude to my mom: didn't say hello or ask how she was. The owner completely dismissed the occurrence, saying that the server who ran the card was one of her best girls & longest employees & that there was no way that could have happened. The way she spoke to my mother, it was like she was trying to make my mother feel like it was her fault, & was making an issue out of nothing. My mom assured her that she had copies of the receipt with the correct total, to which the owner rudely said something like "okay, so what now? You want the $10 back?" completely dismissively. My mother tried to be polite--as this was a "friend" of my sister's & my sister & BIL were still at that point regulars--so she said the next time they came in to dine, they could discount that tab by $10. Obviously, that never happened. When my BIL found that out, he & my sister both decided they would no longer give their business to such a place. None of us have been back since. I do not recommend eating here. You will get mediocre food at an expensive price tag. Plus you will run the risk of dishonest servers over tipping themselves under the protection of an owner who clearly does not care & puts her customers down. If this was the experience of regular customers, I can only imagine how the non-regulars are treated...

If you're someone who's sensitive to spice or doesn't enjoy the smoky, rich flavors found in many traditional Mexican dishes, this may actually be a great fit for you. My biggest concern was that the prices didn't quite match the overall quality. The service, however, was excellent. Maribel took great care of us and was friendly, attentive, and made the experience enjoyable. I ordered the Tostada Compuesta with grilled chicken. The chicken was tender and juicy, and the guacamole was fresh and good, though fairly standard. The highlight of the dish was definitely the homemade fried tortilla shell. It was perfectly crispy, not greasy at all, and held together well, but I wished it had a little more seasoning. My son ordered a regular ground beef burrito, and we added cheese and rice (he likes to keep things simple). He enjoyed it, although he thought it had a little too much rice. Personally, I didn't mind since we had paid extra to add it. My husband ordered the Two-Item Combo with shredded beef. The tacos were on the smaller side and somewhere between soft and crispy. The rice and beans were decent, but neither really stood out. The complimentary chips and salsa were also just okay. The salsa was a bit runny and could have used more spice and flavor. The standout of the entire meal was the El Gran Patrón cocktail. Made with Patrón Añejo, Patrón Citrónge, and served with a side shot of Grand Marnier, it was absolutely delicious and easily my favorite part of the experience. Our total came to about $84 for the three of us, which felt a little expensive for what we received. The night before, I had spent just over $60 feeding five people at another restaurant and even had leftovers. Everyone values dining differently, but for me, the overall value just wasn't there.
