Love that we have a delicious place to get elotes (Mexican street corn) so close to home. The also have a very extensive raspado menu. The owner is such a nice guy. Exeter seems to be slowly moving up in the world. Highly recommend giving this cool new place a try.

The…read moreaçaí bowls are super fresh, delicious, and packed with flavor--everything tastes bright, cold, and perfectly balanced, like it was made with real care instead of rushed out. The staff is also so amazing. They're genuinely kind, welcoming, and patient, and you can tell they take pride in what they're serving. Even when it's busy, they still manage to make you feel seen and taken care of, which makes the whole experience even better. The atmosphere is what really makes it stand out. It's cozy, clean, and super inviting. There's even a couch where you and your friends can sit back, hang out, and relax, plus board games you can actually play while you're there. It makes the place feel less like a quick stop and more like a fun little hangout spot where you can stay a while. DEFINITELY a must try if you're new to Hanford!!

So today I decided to try out the Acai Bar for the 1st time. I opted to go with a crowd favorite…read moreaccording to Yelp reviews and got the OG Bowl. I called in my order and spoke with a pleasant, courteous and professional employee. He quoted my order to be ready within 5-10 minutes which I don't feel was a bad wait time. I've been inside the building before and I like that it's always fresh inside with nice decor throughout. They are always very welcoming. I really like the sincere "hello" and eye contact upon entering.. unlike other places that do that yet out of habit or being mandated by management. Enough said. Pros: the bowl was prepared before my eyes with fresh fruit. I truly enjoyed the taste of the granola, mixed with the açaí base, peanut butter and fruit. I will definitely be back! Cons: perhaps a bigger portion container. I get everything is expensive nowadays and they too had to increase their prices as any business should but I believe the portion for $9 can be a bit larger.

We love to stop at different little coffee spots and were pleasantly surprised with Vibras. They have a large coffee sign outside which is how we knew they serve coffee in addition to fresh juices. They also had a very small selection of muffins on the counter. Iris ( I apologize if I got her name wrong) was very welcoming and took our order as soon as we got in. We ordered a drip coffee an oatmilk latte. She gave us the drip coffee immediately, which was nice. The coffee was rich and very tasty (not bitter or flavored). You should know though they do not have a public restroom, which is somewhat of a draw back when you are serving hot and cold beverages and want to attract travelers. I still gave them five stars for their coffee and service. I think that possible they are more of a juice bar, but we were very happy with the caffeine fix.

The açaí bowls are very refreshing but sad to see that the price has gotten up and the portion has gotten smaller over the past years. Fast service and very convenient…read more The menu is displayed on the wall without any prices. Most items were $9-13. The seafood items were made beforehand and placed in the refrigerator. There were also bagged chips, cubed fruit and Tajin candies on display. Service is always quick. *Aguachile: plump shrimp, cucumber, and avocado in a cup with spicy water. This surprisingly packed a lot of heat so it went well with the fruit. The cucumbers soaked up the peppery seasoning well. The shrimp was tender and sweet. The most refreshing version I've had in the Central Valley. *Ceviche: shrimp, tomato, cucumber, onion and avocado cooked in citrus. The container looked small but it was filling. Each serving was topped with a whole avocado. The shrimp was similarly tender and the vegetables were fresh. I prefer my ceviche to be on the sour side and this gave me the pucker I wanted. Served with 3 grocery store tostadas. I wished these were made fresh because I've been stuck with stale ones before. *Escamocha: came with a choice of ice cream. I chose their walnut flavor and resembled a nuttier butter pecan. The fruit was chopped finely and was sweetened by the cream. The almonds provided a good crunch. Surprisingly mild tasting compared to the fresas con crema. *Fresas Con Crema: the serving size was a bit small for $9 but it was creamy and sweet. The strawberries were plump from soaking in the condensed milk. These were topped with almonds and coconut flakes. Really addicting. Not fancy but the seafood here is better executed than most restaurants in the Central Valley. I just wished the tostadas were fresher to match the quality of the shrimp and produce.
