The food was great, they had picky eater kid friendly foods as well as everything else. It was clean and also busy with locals so you know it's a town favorite.

I went with my boyfriend a few weeks ago and our server was so nice, as well as the sweet young lady doing table side guacamole. The portions are MASSIVE, and well worth the price. Everything was so tasty too.

Ordered the shredded beef sopapilla with red and green chili sauce. Love eating New Mexican food and seeing stuffed sopapillas on the menu. The meal was perfect and delicious.

I've found queso to be different in other parts of the world. Seems like it is made with a chicken broth or something here, so doesn't have the same texture. Alas, for a quick lunch (fajita), it served its purpose, but was hoping for better in my one stop in Roswell New Mexico.

First time here Nov 2025 Food was very good. Guacamole fresh and service was great. Big seating area and clean.

Beautiful wood booths and chairs. Fully custom.

I had the asado breakfast plate and wow it was delicious. The servers were great and recommended I try the asado over the huevo rancheros or the chilaquiles. The spot was pretty empty when I visited to I was seated and served quickly but they've got ample room for large parties. The wood work on the booths is a nice touch. I didn't get a photo of my food, I just went for it. I'm in roswell for another day so I'm going to try to come back tomorrow.

I didn't realize they had taco Tuesday going on. .99 cent ground beef tacos. Luckily someone was pulling out when I grabbed there spot. There was a long long line but when I walked up to the stand I noticed the bar was pretty empty so I asked about sitting there and ordering Togo. It was good so I sat down and looked over the menu. This lovely young lady waited on me. I ordered the 3 item combo, 2 chili rellenos and an enchilada with rice and beans. I ordered 3 crispy shredded beef tacos with rice and beans for my wife. I asked for the hot red sauce. It also came with a bag of tortilla chips. While I was waiting she offered some chips and salsa which I passed on. I ordered a root beer but changed up to a frozen mango margarita with salt and lime. Machine made ones aren't usually tht good but this one sure had some tequila and was might tasty. My order came out before I finished my drink but of course I had to finish it. My stuff was really good. Not like the replenish im use to but tasty as was the enchilada. Salsa had a nice bite. My wife's tacos were great as well. The ambiance was definitely a Mexican vibe. If I lived here I'd be doing the taco tursdays.

I was in Roswell for a long weekend to visit family and decided to give Los Cerritos a try. Man, I am glad I did! First of all, the salsa served with the chips was really good - the spice level was spot-on. The margarita (limon) was solid, but the star of the dinner was my order of Tacos De Camaros was fantastic - some of the best shrimp tacos I've ever tried. I went back two days later for lunch with a family member. I had a two item combination plate. The flautas were excellent, but even better was the enchilada with red sauce. I live out east now, and it's hard to get good enchiladas there, but this one brought me back to the way my grandmom made them when I was a kid. The red sauce hit all the right notes. Service on both visits was excellent, and the restaurant is a comfortable place to enjoy a meal!

Food was incredible!! I had the picadillo with egg on top. My husband had the country skillet with a side of asado that he added on top. Waitress was fast & super friendly!

I had the Picadillo and Eggs and this was great - well spiced ground beef with a side of eggs, this arrived with potatoes and tortillas. It was a nice protein-forward meal and a more unique breakfast option, which I appreciated. The space is no-frills and a bit rustic, but they offer good food at very reasonable prices.

HAIR IN OUR FOOD As a Yelp Elite Member, I take my reviews…read moreseriously and always aim to be fair. I don't like giving bad reviews, but this experience left me disgusted and disappointed. The food was good, and everyone in our group enjoyed their meals. We even packed up leftovers to take home. But just as we were finishing, my grandson's mother noticed a thick, coarse hair on his plate. Finding a hair in food is always stomach-turning, but discovering it after I had already eaten made it worse. It made me wonder: What else did I miss? I showed the hair to our server, who immediately removed the plate--and to be fair, I could tell the hair wasn't from her. The issue was how management handled it: a 10% discount and zero real concern. No apology from a manager, no real effort to make it right--just a small discount and moving on. That response left a bad taste in my mouth. Had it not been for the hair, I would have rated this place 4 stars. The restaurant was clean, the atmosphere was casual, and the food was enjoyable. But the way this was handled knocked my rating down to 2 stars. We were so put off that, even though our leftovers were packed and ready to go, we left them behind. I debated between 1 and 2 stars but settled on 2 because the food itself was good. That said, this experience made it impossible to recommend this place.

The interior is surprisingly large with a spacious dining room to the right, more seating near the bar, and even an outdoor space that had live music when we went. Spicy Beef Nachos Appetizer: Chips topped with queso, green onions, jalapeños, black olives, tomatoes, guacamole, and sour cream. My friend got this and I had a couple bites. Chips were not soggy and it was large enough to cover as his dinner. Green Chile Burger: Topped with monterey jack cheese and roasted chopped Chaves County-grown hot green chile. Served on a jalapeño bun with a side of our hot green chile sauce. Their signature burger and it tasted good. I don't need too much food but the amount of fries I got was too little even for me. Got two Johnny Walker Blacks with a splash of coke and they came well mixed and quickly. We did end up getting rained in and hilariously went back for a second dinner to wait out the rain. Black corn taquitos were OK, I would not get the fried shrimp basked again, the shrimp was too small and there was too much breading.

The chips were house made and had spices on it with plenty of salt. The guacamole was house made and fresh and a little runny and lacked flavor but combine it with the salsa, it was out of this world. The horchata, which they just call it a rice drink, is made fresh daily and absolutely delicious. My husband had the carne asada plate and I had the carne asada chimichanga. The portions were huge and a great price. The carne asada itself was tender with great flavor. Rice and beans were light but didn't lack quality. The red sauce I had on my chimichanga was just the right amount of red sauce. The reason I took a star is because I either received the wrong plate or they call it the wrong thing on the menu. Chimichanga is basically a burrito deep fried but what I received was a burrito smothered in red sauce, not fried at all. That should have been listed as smothered burrito and I double checked the menu and they did not have a separate smothered burrito on there. The waitress was friendly but very awkward. When we thanked her for items she brought, she just laughed as if she was uncomfortable with anyone being nice to her or thanking her.
