Love this location and vibration of this food truck. Right on the side of 41 in Lutz and a bunch of picnic tables are available. There is also a covered section right by the truck where you order. It is run very efficiently and has immaculate flavor and options. They treat every order individually and are not concerned with getting it out as quick as possible but as tasty as possible. There is also a freezer with drinks so you can wash your meal down with specialty juices/sodas. First time ever having a torta on sourdough and it definitely didn't disappoint! Nice vibe at night and they have string lights hanging(may just be a little buggy) but hey it's Florida

Birria tacos win hands down. Lots of flavor, good texture, and a generous cup to dip in. The horchata wasn't great though, it was a bit watery. The food truck sits alone on a big vacant unpaved lot with some picnic tables. The guy who took my order was super friendly and there were only a few other people there since I was having an off-hour lunch. This would be a struggle for me to do on a hot summer day and I don't want to be feral and messy in my car so it would more or less be a seasonal stop for me.

Food is so good. Fresh and delicious. Hubby had casa Bria. Fried tacos to dip. Great flavor! I had steak and shrimp taco...perfect, no too spicy but a lot of flavor. Topped it off with fresh churros mmmmm.service is very quick and staff is help. Ambiance? We sat outside on a beautiful day !

Unlike other locations, this is a food truck with approx. 14 picnic tables and a large unpaved area or parking. It is easy to miss when going doing along 41/Nebraska. If you pass a red/green/gray Gas station, you've driven too far. You order , wait about 10 minutes, and when your beeper beeps, you get your food. There is a small cart that has napkins and plastic cutlery. I ordered 1 Carne Asada burrito ($12). It came with a small serving of tortilla chips. The burrito was warm after 15 minutes. I appreciate that the burrito was intact and even during eating. Many fall apart like wet tissue paper and are messy, but Chapo was solidly packed. And there was no rice unlike the big chains! The steak was well seasoned and there was a good amount of veggies/pico. 4/5 Cons: Closed Sunday fully It is fully exposed, so you have to brave the elements or get takeout. Overall: Pretty good. It gives me "Cali Tacos" vibes (Bearss ave in the 2010's) I'm eager to try their birria tacos next time.

    Tacos De Birria, outstanding!!!

Overall ***** I have probably driven past here a hundred times and have never seen it as it is set back from the road. A Yelp search directed me here and I wont be driving past it again without stopping. The food and service were excellent and it is a great place for a quick lunch or a chill dinner. I just might grab a bottle of wine and come back later! (3/3/23) Setting **** It is a food truck set back from the road with umbrella picnic tables, games to play, small palm trees and lights strung above. It is a very casual and fun environment with plenty of parking (some shaded). Service ***** Extremely pleasant, friendly and suggestions easily given. They seem very proud to work there. Food ***** Tacos De Birria was simply amazing! Pulled Jerk Pork, melted cheese in a very crispy grilled taco shell. The presentation and texture caught me by surprise as it was sort of like a grilled cheese. It came with a beef dipping broth but I thought it was a soup and ate it with s spoon. It was so good it could have easily passed as a soup to the point that I brought an extra cup home for my daughter. Value **** Two tacos for $9.95 isn't a complete bargain but it is very reasonable for the quality of the product.

First and not the last time I will eat here. They have done a great job making you feel like your eating somewhere else. Lots of tables and space. The food was quick and the staff was friendly and helpful with suggestions on what to order. The tacos were delicious I wish the guacamole had more flavor. Excited to come back and try the kids menu with our littles.

The food was good. But for a food truck, I thought it was overpriced. The staff can use a little help on how to be nice.

Ok, this is where I'll grab some food. Popped in and was quickly greeted, as I looked over the menu at the counter the girl stepped up and asked if she could help me, she gave me a few recommendations. I went with a couple different tacos, a pork tamale and a bag of chips. I have to apologize, I almost always take pictures of the food before shoveling it into my mouth, but I was hungry and this looked delicious. I pictures. The reviews weee unquestionably correct and this place is incredible. My favorite (which was difficult to pick just one) was the Campechano taco...the flavor was out of this world. I had a steak taco and the pork tamale...absolutely incredible. I hate to rave about something without some sort of criticism...nothing can be perfect right? Well, the food was spot on, don't change a thing. My only small poke would have been that the bottled Coke was cold, but not ice cold...and if that's the most negative thing you can say, well then...this place is a 10 out of 10. I highly recommend...I just wish I lived in the area to enjoy it more often! Tampa, you're lucky to have a place this great!

Great tacos al pastor and carne asada. Fresh and tasty. Tortilla tastes fresh made, too.read more

I went with one of my safe options when trying out a new Mexican restaurant which is a bean and cheese burrito, which I ordered, and got 3 street tacos with carne asada as well. Starting with the positives, the green salsa had great flavor, and the carne asada was decent, not the best I've had, but certainly not bad. Unfortunately, the rest of the meal fell short for me. The bean and cheese burrito was made with whole beans instead of refried beans, which caught me off guard since I've always associated a traditional bean and cheese burrito with refried beans. It wasn't necessarily wrong, just not what I was expecting. One of my tacos also had the meat clumped together, almost as if it had been reheated in a microwave, which affected the texture and overall experience. Overall, everyone's tastes are different, so it's still worth trying for yourself. But having grown up eating Mexican food in Southern California, this one just wasn't for me, and I don't see myself returning.
