Goo tacos but very expensive. Would recommend only going on a Tuesday and price is still high

3rd time at Loli's Tacos. Cute old house it is located in. Parking lot had room for us. Friendly person taking our order. Good selection of food. Was with a business partner from out of town. We both enjoyed our Tacos. Each had 3. Fresh tasty Tacos, with tasty sauces and fresh lime on the side. Men's room had no paper towel. Always Tasty food!

Lolis is a staple in the area - it's authentic and never leaves you wanting in flavor. This location is small, not much seating inside - we opted for online ordering and pickup for this reason, but it definitely doesn't deter us from ordering food from here! We ordered the birria tacos and the carne asada sope along with a side of esquites. The birria tacos were really tasty - the consumme had a fantastic flavor, probably one of the top 3 birria's I've had in Tampa for sure. The carne asada sope was also really good, I don't order sope very often, but I really enjoyed it from Lolis. The esquites is something I could eat like 4 bowls of lol - it's just so good! Highly recommend trying it if you haven't - the serving size is ample for sharing (order chips with it and it's a great chip dip too) We love Lolis - perfect for quick food pickup and a date night at home.

This was my boyfriend & I's first stop after landing in Tampa and before heading to our AirBnB. It was a good first stop on our food adventure here! We always go for Mexican and this place didn't disappoint. We ordered 3 steak and 3 birria tacos. I loved how they came with the grilled onions cause those are a favorite! The green avocado sauce was on point and a great touch to the taco. The birria hit the spot but the crispiness of the tortilla was a little weird - my boyfriend said the same. The spot itself is a cute quaint spot that had indoor and a small outdoor seating. They take your order at the register and if eating there they give you a number and bring it to you.

Online order rack... I am early so food is not ready yet!

Decided on Loli's tacos for lunch today. When I got there, I saw Quesabirria tacos on the menu... so had to order those. Also ordered an Elote (Mexican street corn). Got it all to go. Service was great... although with the music they had playing in the background, I had trouble hearing the young lady at the counter. She was softspoken, and all my hearing was picking up was the music. But we got her done! After a short wait, they brought the food out... and it smelled so good. So I headed home. Got home, opened up the bags of food, and it looked delicious. The Elote looked really good, all covered with cheese and tajin. I dug in... the tacos were good... as good as any other quesabirria I have had here in Tampa. The dipping broth needed salt... but no big deal. The provided hot sauce was delicious (so much that I actually drank what was left after the meal, lol). The Elote was juicy, and sweet... nicely counterbalanced by the delicious cheese and tajin on it. All in all a great. I think the prices are a little high, especially for the Elote... but I would do it again.

Taco Tuesday craving had to be satisfied. I tried three tacos: Al pastor - ok, not bad, nothing special Lengua - very soft and tender pieces of meat savory and very faintly gamey. Wonderful. Fish - Big ole perfectly fried piece of white fish Three tacos where more than enough for a meal. The lengua and fish tacos both came wrapped in two tortillas; I would ask for just one each next time to focus more on the ingredients and to be less super full. The tacos came with a spicy red salsa, a creamy green salsa, and grilled onions. My wife liked her veggie quesadilla. Adding chips, guac, and an horchata, our meal came out to about $40 after tip, maybe just a touch more than I would have liked to have paid. Overall a good meal and a satisfying taco Tuesday.

Stopped in Tampa for a little bit of fun and decided to stop at Loki's Tacos. This is a must try place if you're in the area. I had 2 tacos Al Pastor which were amazing, and I had their strawberry agua fresca which was just the perfect amount of sweet. You can call order your food for pick up or eat there. They have both inside and outside seating. The only thing I would say is that my tortillas were a bit lukewarm but my tacos were still amazing.

Great tacos al pastor and carne asada. Fresh and tasty. Tortilla tastes fresh made, too.

Enjoyed the food a lot simple, fresh, and satisfying. Prices are fair, just wish service was a bit faster.

Very reasonable priced tacos in a neighborhood hole in the wall environment that hits the spot. I also love the tortas here. They are big!

When ordering tacos online can I choose corn or flour tortillas? Can I put this request in the notes section of the order?

When ordering directly from their website, tacos already come with corn tortillas. You will have the option to choose flour tortilla if you'd like.

Do you have taco Tuesday specials?

No yet Lakeisha, We're working on it.

I saw there are vegetarian tacos and sopes, are they also vegan? Really wanna go here :)

I am not really sure. I mean, I think they have non-meat items but if it is all cooked on the same grill would that bother you?

Is the Hillsborough Ave location open?

    Yes

    Do you deliver?

    Yes, with postmates!!

    Do they serve margaritas here?

    No, I'm so Sorry

Arriving hungry, we stopped in here. The decor was well out together with a various arrangement of seating options. They were out of topo chico so opted for a seltzer water. I ordered tacos and elotes both of which came out fast and or so good! My dining companion ordered the Tijuana salad with steak which was massive and came out with a perfectly cooked medium rare flank steak on too. The salad was exactly the Caesar salad twist I expected with the hand prepped original dressing and addition of the elotes on top. Definitely worth a try if you're craving mexican in the area.

Luckily, there are quite a few solid dining options at this property including Lona. When I saw that they had a modern Mexican menu and delicious sounding cocktails, I decided to grab a seat at the bar. The service was quick and the bartender was very friendly, offering suggestions on the menu when I asked. I started with the passion picante cocktail which was like a spicy passionfruit margarita made with Teremana tequila. For my entree, I got the quesabirria with the consommé dipping sauce and it was spectacular. It's only of the most popular dishes on their menu and I can see why. I also tried the cucumber mezcalita which was a great nightcap if you enjoy Mezcal. I was so stuffed after that, but I got a slice of the tres leches cake to-go. It's a gorgeous dessert and I ate it for breakfast the next morning. It was amazing!

I made an OpenTable reservation for 7 pm thinking it would be busy on a Friday night, but the…read morerestaurant was basically empty. Despite the lack of a crowd the service was still slow! We were sat at a high top table and it took almost 20 minutes before our waiter came to the table. Another hostess actually came by with waters and apologized for the wait before our waiter came to take our order. My partner and I ordered the table side guac, 3 street tacos, and a steak enchilada. We also ordered a Pacifico beer and my partner got a passion fruit iced margarita (slushee). When the waiter brought the drinks it was a completely different margarita. My partner ordered the drink with tajin and the other margarita came out with salt. That was the first giveaway that this was about to be a bad experience. The table side guac was disappointing. I'd had it 4 years prior and was excited but it just didn't live up to how I remember it. He gave us the option for mild medium and spicy - we chose medium but it had no spice in it at all. We had to ask for more salt because it wasn't salty enough. The avocados were not ripe, and he didn't use any lime juice. And finally, towards the end of the meal I was chewing and part of the avocado peel was still in the guac. Quite an unpleasant surprise. The steak enchilada was okay. The steak was a little tough and I think the cheese on the enchilada was melted mozzarella - it was similar to pizza...as an enchilada... My partner thought the street tacos were okay but for the price point of $25, probably not worth the cost. All entrees come with beans and white rice - I needed to add salt to mine, but it was fine. The table seated behind us was very close to us and we could hear their entire conversation. The guy specifically said "I never eat the side of rice and beans here because it's not very good". The service was okay. Our waiter was very low energy and rather muted for an early Friday night. It's possible he had a long shift or a long day, so I'm willing to cut him some slack, but in the service industry, I think I'd appreciate a positive attitude. This dude clearly did not want to be on the clock. Finally, the restaurant didn't notify OpenTable that I arrived for my reservation so now I have to explain to OpenTable that I did actually attend and I wasn't a "no-show" for the reservation. Bit of a waste of my time. I came because I heard Westshore is closing and was hoping for a fun date night with my partner. I'm glad to know I'll never be going back and I probably shouldn't have tipped 20%.
