[[HIGHLIGHT]]Relaxing atmosphere with tasty food.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service and atmosphere: The staff were polite, professional and attentive. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant had modern vibe with colourful decor and clean aesthetic.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Food and drinks: Good menu had big selection of Mexican cuisine foods. We ordered sampler for starters which came with a few different appetisers. The variety was good and all were tasty. Beef fajitas were tender, well seasoned and full of flavour. The restaurant has an ice cream machine which is free of charge. Bonus! Drinks were prepared well and they offer good selection of alcoholic beverages. Pricing: $$ - standard prices.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]This was our first time here and the atmosphere is beautiful. I love mosaic tile and Spanish art when you walk in the restaurant.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I will say the layout is different with various tables pointing different directions so I didn't know where she was taking us lol but it's a fun vibe in here.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My Plato Pancho Villa was huge for $10.99. It had enchiladas, guacamole, crispy taco, rice and beans. The cheese enchiladas with chili con queso was delicious. My husband got the Tacos Al Carbon and the beef fajita meat was seasoned perfectly. Our margaritas were delicious and Chad our server was helpful with my drink to not have jalapeño and made us feel welcomed here so we wouldn't mind coming back.

We were craving some Tex Mex around the hwy 6 area as our previous go-to went out of business. After a quick search I saw Cenas had decent reviews so we decided to give it a try. Late Lunch time on a Monday afternoon wasn't too busy, we were quickly seated and drink orders and recommendations were taken. The complementary Chips and salsa were great! The daily lunch specials with +$2 marg option was a great deal! I opted for a basic chicken quesadilla and it did not disappoint. To top this all off...complementary soft serve!! Great tasting food, great service, lunch menu prices were affordable! [[HIGHLIGHT]]There is also a nice bar to the right when you walk in.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Will be back!

My niece and I came here for her schools spirit night and glad we did they are not getting a 5 because we did not get chips and salsa. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We sat on the patio which was really nice as it had been hot the previous days.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My seafood enchiladas were wonderful and OMG that rice was as the best I've tasted in a long time. I chose the watermelon margarita first since on Mondays they have happy hour and the first two margaritas were two dollars. I wasn't really impressed by the watermelon, but then I got the strawberry and it was much better. My niece of course got the same thing that she gets at any Mexican restaurant, chicken nuggets and fries. She loved them both. Our waitress was wonderful and we can't wait to go back.

My mom chose Cenas Kitchen for her birthday dinner to celebrate with most of the family. I personally wasn't expecting much. I used to live in Texas for a short period of time and in general, the Mexican food is very much Tex-Mex. When we arrived, there was lots of parking and a few people inside. We were greeted immediately and warmly. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We were sat at a large and clean table.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We had 6 people in our party, one being a child. My husband and I are not picky and don't change menu items/ingredients. The rest of the table however, are the opposite. Our waiter was gracious, hard working, and kind throughout our visit. Our drinks were always filled. My first look at the menu, I was rejoicing. They had Mangonada with chamoy sticks! Besides my husband (who knows my obsession), no one at our table knew what this was. They ordered waters and tea while I celebrated my mom's birthday with a margarita. The menu was expansive and I ended up ordering a platter. First off, the Mangonada was delicious! I let my mom have a try and she ended up getting one for herself, my cousin tried it and she too, wanted to order one. I was so happy to spread the chamoy love onto others! Second, the food is not Tex-mex. It's delicious, hot, and savory! Love is put into the meals. And the tamale...SO good!! I can't find good tamales where we live in NC. This made me so happy! We all enjoyed our meals, with plenty of leftovers to take home. I was really happy that my mom chose Cenas Kitchen for the group. If I'm to come back to the area, I hope she recommends coming here again!

Nut allergy friendly: I didn't even ask! We got here around 11:30AM for a lunch with three. Seated relatively quickly. Chips and sauces out within five minutes. Time to Lunch Order: 13 Minutes The chips and salsa was pretty good. The creamier sauce wasn't too flavorful (a bit of spice) and the red sauce was relatively standard and a little bland. My mixed Fajita Quesadilla was hefty and had a nice side of sour cream and guacamole. The quesadilla seemed a bit uneven with some pieces having a lot of meat and others more held together by cheese. I actually came here about six years ago, in 2019, and also gave it a 4/5 for way too much queso on their fajita and being too greasy. Overall, it's the same as I remember, but great for lunch due to fast service. Their specials seem great, but I couldn't be drinking during a work day.

Great place to tackle taco Tuesday. They offer daily drink and food specials. The service was top tier. My waitress didn't let a thing go unhandled. The street tacos were great and their margaritas pack a punch. This is a great place to stop in for any day of the week.

The easiest 10/10 I could ever give a restaurant. We were sat immediately on a Sunday afternoon. Ariya was our server and she was very knowledgeable about the menu and sweet. We had the chicken empanadas for appetizer, it could very well be an entree by itself. They were packed with flavor and sooooo yummy! My bf had the mango and shrimp salad, it had this amazing sweet ginger dressing that was very green so I was a bit skeptical but it was the best thing I've ever tasted! I want the recipe sooooo bad. For my entree, I had the Mexican wrap with fajita beef, it was huge! But very delicious. They offer free ice cream so I had to try it. So good! Every time I'm in town I will be going here! Very family friendly, bright and airy inside decor wise. I love it there!

Well I had to think a while before writing this review. Originally was thinking 3 stars but had to add a star after thinking about the whole picture. I was very impressed by the restaurant itself...wonderful ambience and a nice big, fully stocked bar. Since I was alone I opted for sitting at the bar. Bar stools are very uncomfortable...but I stayed there as I was kinda in a hurry and the service was great so that was a good thing. Now to the more complicated part of my review. The food is...well...different. Not really in a bad way and seemed pretty fresh. My order came with two plates as with a lot of combo plates. I ordered the Friday combo special consisting of the first plate...one crispy taco, one bean tostada and another tostada with queso on it. Both tostadas and taco shell were very stale. The meat in the taco had a...not bad, not good...just different flavor. Didn't enjoy that plate at all. I was starving so I finished the taco but not the tostadas. Second plate...two cheese enchiladas with great chili sauce and white cheese...very good. Rice that was good but the star of the show was the charro beans! Best I've ever had in a restaurant. I decided I will return to try the shrimp and/or fajitas...oh and a margarita if I go on a day off. Can't totally judge a restaurant on one visit. Go give it a try, nice place and great service. Go give them a try and

My sister has been trying to get me there, but it just hasn't worked out until it did. And it was soooo worth it! The inside was so tastefully decorated and beautiful that it actually felt like you had just stepped into a tropical paradise. From the main dining area to the giant wall of Tequila in the bar it was just stunning. I'm just gonna go ahead and get my ONLY negative comment out of the way..... it was COLD AF in there, but we were seated near the front door and every time it opened it felt like I was sitting in a deep freeze.....BRRRRRR! The service was excellent even though it was close to 7 on a Friday night we waited for l less than twenty minutes. My younger sister is the only one who had an adult beverage a Mojito which they actually give you a choice of liquor. The food was so delicious, seafood enchiladas for sis #1, flautas (to-go) for my cuando, chicken enchiladas for sis #2 and I tried the spinach enchiladas, which was a big deal cause I'm very picky about those! Everything was cooked perfectly and they let you choose the "sauce" for your enchiladas from a list that will make anyone happy. The spinach enchiladas were served in corn tortillas (not a huge fan, but was still very happy and VERY full when we left. The charro beans were very good and (this is for the vegetarians out there) they do have some sausage in them!!!! The rice was scrumptious as well.

We visited around 5:00 PM on a Sunday and were pleasantly surprised to be seated immediately for a party of two without a reservation. The restaurant is huge, and despite being very busy, the service was efficient. We were seated in one of the back dining rooms and greeted with complimentary chips and salsa, both of which were delicious. The atmosphere was fantastic--packed with World Cup fans, with what felt like everyone wearing a soccer jersey. As fellow futebol fans, we loved the energy. Being from California, we're fortunate to have access to some excellent Mexican food, so we were a little hesitant about trying Tex-Mex. I ordered the chicken fajitas with flour tortillas and a passion fruit margarita. The chicken had a smoky flavor and a sauce that gave the dish a distinctly Texas-style twist. The flour tortillas were outstanding, and the refried beans and rice were just as enjoyable. The passion fruit margarita was also a standout and something I'd definitely order again. Overall, this was a great dining experience and a place I'd recommend for the atmosphere alone. The restaurant appears well-equipped to accommodate large groups, making it a great option for gatherings. Next time, I'd love to return with a bigger group and take advantage of one of their margarita pitchers!

For drinks, my husband and our friends tried some of the margaritas from their large and unique margaritas menu, as well as their hibiscus agua fresca. All of the drinks were very pretty and it seemed like everyone enjoyed them, too! We started with their chips and salsa trio, which we all really liked. The chips were on the thicker side, but were crispy and not stale or chewy at all. Each of the salsas were quite different, and two were served warm, which we really liked! For the price, I'd consider getting the chips and salsa as a non-negotiable, honestly. For entrees, we tried the enchilada rojas, chilaquiles verde w/ chicken and beef, birria barbacoa ramen, and huaraches. My husband felt like his ramen could have included more meat, but aside from that everyone really enjoyed what they ordered. The highlight was probably the desserts, though! We got a quatro leches and two ordered of their giant and amazing churros. Both were incredibly tasty and reason enough to return for another visit in the future!
