Each table is intimately lit--no hospital lights here! Creating a sense of privacy no matter where you sit. Whoever designed the layout did an amazing job. As for the drinks--spectacular. You better not be driving, because the cocktails are not lacking in any way, shape or form. The food meets the same standards as each dish is beautifully presented and rich with flavor. This place is in a strip mall, and looks pretty unassuming from the outside, but don't let that fool you! Inside is a great surprise! The Social Bar and Lounge really fancies up West Littleton with its upscale cocktails and high end appetizers! The nice thing is that you can go there dressed very nice or very casual and still will fit in with the vibe. The music last night was very 70's ( I know, so unusual for our stuck in the 70's Colorado), and we sat on their shady patio. The tables were lovely; and the chairs were comfortable. They have black napkins, more than you can even use, haha! They have fancy lights that turn on and off just by touch. They bring carafes of water. We had at least 3 servers and the owner checking in on us.....I felt very pampered!! We arrived at 4:40, just in time to get a $5 happy hour drink. We both chose wine, and it was delicious and didn't taste like $5 wine!! Happy hour ends at 5pm. We ordered appetizers. The ahi tuna was great, seared and served with wasabi, ginger and a Teryaki dipping sauce. We also had the shrimp cocktail, huge shrimp cooked perfectly and very fresh tasting served with a homemade cocktail sauce made with horseradish, ketchup, Tabasco, and lemon juice, perfect!! After five, we decided to order signature cocktails. Joe had the Vieux Carre and I had the one with the grapefruit and vodka...I just know it was fresh grapefruit juice!! Joe loved the Vieux Carre because everything in it was high end, and the blend was perfect! Social Bar is great for a date night. You'll feel relaxed and not rushed. They like to check on you to make sure you are enjoying everything, but they give you some alone time too! It's American service at its finest! I love a Franz Josef and that was one of the options. Our service was top notch- so helpful and accommodating. The food menu was limited but def was happy with the choices. Absolutely the best Old Fashion cocktail you can ever have! The atmosphere here is great. The interior is very nicely decorated and the vibe alone is super fun and welcoming. Steve has done an amazing job to make the place inviting while having a great selection of drinks and some quick foods to munch on. We stopped in last night to share with Steve the award(s) that I had received. When we arrived, I heard my name, and it was a bunch of ladies from my town. The atmosphere is great, inviting, hip, warming, and welcoming. They have a bill holder like an iPad, It actually lights up and inside the folder also comes with a pair of cheaters, little reading glasses if needed. They don't really serve food but they do have some snack things and a Charcuterie board. The best part about your place is that you are a short Uber ride away, LOL. Apparently we went on a slow night but we enjoyed the crowd - it was folks just wanting to chill with partners or companions and no ruckus. This is more an environment for those in their 30's and above probably. There's not much else around left that strip so it's not for bar hopping. One of our customers recommended this place as having one of the best old fashioned drinks around. From the time we stepped through the door we knew this place was top notch. The old fashioned was fantastic, one of the best we have had. We also had the meat and cheese board which was VERY well done with 4 quality meats and three cheeses, along with a pepper jelly, mustard and mixed nuts. The atmosphere is fantastic as was the entire staff. Any staff member I made eye contact with had either a verbal greeting for me or a warm smile. As my wife was returning from the restroom, a server was passing by the bar and, seemingly without thought, pulled her chair out for her. It is these touches that have become so rate nowadays but seem to be the norm here. Everything about our visit was a pleasure and indicated a very well run establishment.
