It has new house smell and was pristine. The rooms are larger than I thought with good sized closets. I needed a desk for the week and the owners were very kind to bring one to the room for me. By the way - most folks are out for the day so the WiFi was better than my company jet pack! Definitely a plus. Breakfast this week landed around 9a and I had meetings during that time. They were so gracious to have a plate ready or welcome me to the porch table for privacy. Pros: - Their wine is delicious and their origin story is very interesting. Schedule a tasting ($10)! - Breakfast was delicious every day and includes ingredients from their garden - Local coffee served. And, it's good! - Beautiful, clean home - Knowledgeable owners - Close to several wineries - Short drive to town (restaurants) - beautiful area, super relaxing Cons: - Most wineries close at 5pm - TV in my room was *very* small. We didn't use it often so no stars taken.

This was my first trip to the finger lakes and wine country and New Vines will definitely be our spot to stay when we do return!

The B&B is clean, charming, and feels like your visiting the home of a friend you look forward to seeing. The rooms are gorgeous. Big beds, beautiful bathrooms, air conditioning, cable, DVD, and vhs available. I didn't even get to the breakfast. Chris prepares fresh homemade yogurt with fresh berries that she grows in her garden in the backyard. It also includes a baked good, today was the most delicious scone I've ever had, bacon, and egg frittata! The coffee is also local. Breakfast is different everyday!! Chris is also very thoughtful to prepare special foods for anyone with food allergies. My aunt is allergic to eggs, wheat, and dairy. And Chris made a special tofu scramble for her. I loved the cozy robe just like you have in a 5 star hotel. And lovely fragrant soap. Chris made sure to accommodate my gluten free needs. She was so wonderfully attentive and sweet. We feel like we made a life long friend as we will certainly return. Chris is a wonderful host and chef. We thoroughly enjoyed her delicious breakfasts each morning. She even invited us to join her on Ride the Rails which was fantastic too. Definitely check that out when you visit the area. I'll also add that Penn Yan is a great central spot that makes it easy to get to most of the other finger lakes. So even if you are only in Penn Yam for a bit, you can easily visit the other attractions and lakes easily and stay in Chris's perfect Bed and Breakfast. The bed was really comfortable and the room was large. The most impressive was the breakfast, which came with a main dish made of eggs (not sunny side up, that would be too simple) such as quiche or croque madam and many side dishes such as fruit mimosa, yogurt, rolls, etc. Everything was exquisite and delicious. The hosts Cindy and Casey created a warm and homey atmosphere for our stay. The house has sort of an estate so parking is easy.

The location is perfect, with private off-street parking, and a short walk to the shops and restaurants on the Main Street. Take a walk down the Keuka Outlet Trail or bring your bikes for a ride around the lake. It's ten minutes to Seneca Lake, and the closest wineries are just down the road. The Trimmer House is a stunning Victorian home with beautiful sitting rooms, a large, covered front porch, and cozy bedrooms. The en suite with the clawfoot tub was a selling point for me. Bessie's Room was spectacular. It was spacious, comfortable, and the shutters made for the perfect conditions for sleeping. I've never stayed in a B&B, and the Trimmer House has set the bar incredibly high. I can't rave enough about the breakfast - the food was amazing! Quiche, tarts, fresh food, bottomless coffee. I have a hard time believing there is a better breakfast in town. Bravo to the amazing hosts for creating such a comfortable, luxury experience in Penn Yan. Worth every penny and more!

I loved my site with trees secluding me from my adjacent neighbors. I biked all around the site and lake. The lake looked awesome for swimming, fishing and boating access. I saw several playgrounds for young kids. Each of three campgrounds had their own wash house. The one, near my campsite, was really nice! The campground was well maintained and clean. They allow pets but please note most sites don't have RV hookups. Price after fees was $36.25/night.

Located about 1/3 of the way up the eastern side of Seneca Lake, the location provides easy access to the wineries, distilleries, and breweries along the lake.This is a family owned campground and the owners were very friendly and took pride in their business. Fresh baked chocolate chip cookies are included at check-in. The campground sites are very large and spread out. Being a newer campground, the trees are small, but that did not take away from the experience. Easy maneuverability, great wifi and water pressure, along with level sites make it a great place to stay. The bath house is emmaculate and rivals those at Fort Wilderness Resort. Amenities are minimal (no pool, playground, or golf carts), but they are bookended by two wineries with walking paths from the campground. Due to the minimal amenities, it is very quiet and relaxing especially in the evenings sitting around the campfire. I look forward to returning to the Finger Lakes RV park as this is easily one of our top campgrounds when needing to relax.
