I found this place out of luck! I am glad my family and me did because the food was great. Everything we ordered was fresh, tasty and filling. The food was worthwhile and economical in price. The warm, fresh tortillas were actually flavorful!! While the interior was very modest, our table was clean. Our bilingual server was super friendly and attentive. It seemed like they accepted carry-out orders too. We will 100% return!! read more

As a visitor, we enjoyed our outdoor lunch at Los Hermanos. I'm pretty sure this qualifies as a "dive" restaurant but we really liked it. There is a grocery store in the front of the small steel building so drive around to the back to find the entrance. The enchiladas are Honduran style, the tacos are Mexican, and all of the tortillas are homemade. The hubby had a chicken burrito on a flour tortilla that could've easily fed two people. I had one chicken taco and one pork on corn tortillas and while they were both good, I think the pork was better. It comes with the green sauce on the side that is very, very spicy and they don't warn you about the spice level so now you know! They were quick with the lunches and we would definitely come back. read more

Surprisingly amazing. It doesn't look like much and it is a small space behind the store. English speakers: Menu is in Spanish and staff speaks mostly Spanish. I had the Honduran tacos. This is the most authentic Mexican restaurant I've had in the states. Food was excellent, service was kind, and I saw things on the menu I've never seen before. Excited to come back and try it all! If I had to change anything I'd probably turn the AC on a bit stronger. It was warm, but in a strange way that added to the authentic Mexican feel. Finally, they now accept debit and credit. Love this little place. Only wish we had found it sooner. To label this place as Mexican wouldn't be accurate because they have things like baleadas (Honduran tacos) and pupusas but they do serve many traditional Mexican items as well. Everything we had was excellent. The young lady taking orders was very friendly and helped educate us on those items we were unfamiliar with. The seating area is small but clean and, at least during lunch, very busy. The food is delicious, large portions and at a very fair price. If you are looking for some excellent Central American cooking Los Hermanos is very good. read more

Doesn't look like much from the outside but it's the BEST latin/hispanic restaurant that we've found here so far. The fact that they offer pupusas is a huge plus because not many places here even offer that. Whether you're choosing sopa, tacos, or tortas you can't go wrong! Los Hermanos is tucked away in a corner behind La Hacienda Mexicana. Three stars bc the food is awesome, authentic Mex quisine. No tex Mex or #3 lunch plates here! The place itself is the epitome of a hole in wall joint. It's CASH ONLY btw, and In summer/fall the low country heat/humidity makes its way into the dining area, which is pretty small. The lack of atmosphere pales next to the menu though, and you really can't beat the prices. I totally recommend the burritos, they are straight up good. So all in all, if you are looking for a Mexican restaurant to hang out and watch a game and drink a beer, keep looking, if you are craving REAL Mexican food, this is totally the spot. My favorite place to eat tacos in Beaufort! The ladies there are super hard workers and their food is amazing! They also cater which is a plus if you need amazing tacos for events. Just let them know in advance. My favorite thing are the carne asada tacos Mexicanos because they also make Honduran tacos. And their aguas frescas are delicious! I order take out from here all the time and every time the food is freshly made. I haven't tried the Honduran food part of the menu but I will soon. Their pupusas are amazing! read more
