Don't come here, I ordered an Horchata, the waiter puts it down. I look at it and as you can see there is a bug in it. I flag someone down and ask for something else, the waitress comes back and acts like it's my fault and gets an attitude that I want another drink. The food comes out and it's ok nothing great, I asked for salsa and again I'm an inconvenience. You get better tortillas at Walmart than this place. Great place to grab a bite for lunch. I've been many times and it's always good! I'm a big fan of the soup!

This was the worst, most bizarre restaurant experience I've ever had. Upon first impression, the restaurant looked dirty. A rubber floor mat was rolled up on top of the seat cushion out front, a preliminary indicator about the low standard of cleanliness. Most of the neon signs were off in the dining area, making for an almost gloomy atmosphere. After waiting to be seated, we (party of 2) were met with dirty, sticky menus and a wide-eyed waitress who could not be trusted to even deliver the correct drink. I asked for a screwdriver, which was on their printed drink list. Simple enough, right? Wrong, apparently. Very, very wrong. Every time I very clearly repeated "screwdriver," she'd feverishly nod her head with a grin and say, "Strawberry margarita? Yes!" "No. Screwdriver." I pointed to the word on the printed sheet. "Daiquiri?" "No. S c r e w d r i v e r." "Margarita?" "Screwdriver. It's orange juice and vodka." She then nodded and gestured toward the back, implying she'd check or something. We wait for a while, the chips and waters arrive. She flies by our table at one point saying something along the lines of, "Your margarita is almost ready!" We stop her and say, "No, it's NOT a margarita." She nods again, wide eyed, with a deranged grin. Several more minutes pass by and a different waitress arrives with - you guessed it, a margarita. Nope, that was it for us. If the waitress couldn't even parrot back the same drink I named a dozen times, there was no way to trust her with a food order. We left hungry and irritated by the bizarre experience, and won't be back. There's a much better, cleaner, authentic Mexican place just down the service road that's excellent - go there instead. read more

I do believe the health department needs to make a surprise visit to this location. first the waitress handed us our drinks by holding the cups by the top of the rim so her fingers were all over where our mouths would go, the waitress next to us was putting her thumbs in the food when holding the plates of food to serve that table. we waited an hour for a salad and fajitas so we just finally left. the blonde hair waitress we had was pissed we didn't leave her a tip. not sure why as she only gave us the drinks she touched with her fingers! read more

I use to love this place when it opened. Food was always seasoned well, food was hot and staff was awesome. Well my husband and I have been living away for sometime due to careers. We recently came home to visit family and we wanted La Pradera. The family asked if we were sure as if they were hesitant to want to eat there but we insisted on going. It was horrible. First our waitress was rude and very short with us, she pretty much shoved drinks into our hands. Rushed us as we were telling her our orders. When we food finally came... The chips were stale, salsa had a funky taste, the queso we ordered was Luke warm and already had clotted in top. It tasted pretty bad as well. Our entrees weren't any better. I got spinach enchiladas, the spinach tasted like it came straight out of a can into the tortilla will not seasoning, or anything. It was just bad all around. It seems as if after a few years they've let their quality control slip a bit and have gotten lazy. We won't be eating their again. read more

We love the staff and probably eat here twice a month. It's always consistent and always good.

We have lived in Seagoville for 3 years and eaten or gotten take out from La Pradera at least once a week. The primary reason is that it's close to the house. After a recent experience there in which we were treated disrespectfully by the staff my family will never be back. The food is overpriced, and ordinary at best. The service is poor and the staff is rude. The order is often wrong which is very frustrating when it's take out. We put up with all of this due to the convenience. There are plenty of places to eat Mexican food. We'll just need to drive a little farther. We'll never EVER be back. If i could give less than one star i would. Update 6/25/18 We have replaced La Pradera with Leonardo's fir about a year now. They are the exact opposite. Great food & staff! If you're considering La Pradera in Seagoville you should try Leonardo's instead. To be fair, I have eaten at other La Pradera locations, and been very satisfied. read more

Good Mexican food. Service was pleasant and quick. The Street Tacos were very good I had one of each. Steak, Chicken, and Barbacoa. Everyone else had good meals also. The chips were warm and they server them with bean dip and a very spicy salsa. Good time was had by all. read more

So i am here on lunch break. They sat me and i sat there for quite a long time before anyone came and said "who got your drink".. Such a rude tone. Like its a bother they they have to wait my table.. She not once came back after bringing my drink to ask of i need a refill or wanted anything. Then the food arrived and she has yet to return. The service here is below average. Which i can deal with. Its the servers rudeness and tone of voice when thwy talk to you that really drives me bonkers. The food is average. Nothing to rave about. So update at the end of my experience. Waitress did not say "thank you" just dropped the ticket and walks off. Then as i proceed to the counter to pay. The girl her name is victoria doesnt say a single word. Very good food at this location, but the service is hit or miss. It has been difficult to get across 'no tomato' on several occasions due to the 'authentic' waitresses. A few of them are down right horrible and a few are way above par, after a few visit we know who to ask for, thank goodness! The food, when made with the 'no tomato' request explained to the kitchen, is great! Word is, they even have karaoke a couple weekends a month! read more

Food is just So-So. Smother every thing with nacho cheese and call it good. The service was not great. Not to mention the 16% tip they added to our bill (Has it come to that now?). I normally tip 20% if service is acceptable but I feel robbed when I don't have a choice. The table was full of empty plates and we had to just get up and stand at the register before anyone would attempt to bring our bill. How does a Mexican restaurant mess up a Margareta? 2 weeks ago 9n of us wanted Mexican food and I suggested the place downtown Crandall but said lets go ti La Prada? This small town has little to offer in dining with the exception of fast food. We needed a sit down place to warm up the baby's bottle and grab a light lunch. You get what you expect from this restaurant. Simple, basic and standard Tex-Mex. The taco salad was okay. The service was okay and the atmosphere was okay. The food was ok not much flavor I had the enchilada and taco platter 10$ for a single enchilada and a single taco. I like my enchiladas in corn tortillas not flour. There food is great!! But some of the waitresses are slow or get on your nerve a little bit! And sometimes it will be in the middle of the weekday and they will have the music up really loud with only three tables!!
