I can't say I loved it or that I would frequently go back. The fajitas where okay, not bad and not great. The beans were good. I enjoyed the birria taco plate the best, but my dining partner didn't. We ordered the loaded corn appetizer, it was good, but I felt they skimped on the Doritos and the ones given were all crumbly and broken. I had to ask the waitress for water X2. The waitresses are nice and will help you when you ask, but I didn't get the sense they were go getters, when I would look back to see them, they were just standing waiting for food to come out & frequently scrolling on their phones while tables were without any water. Off the Chain! I went to this very unassuming spot to grab a lunch with a childhood friend whom I hadn't seen in about 40 years. It was both of our first times eating at a restaurant specializing in Birria Tacos... where... interestingly enough a perusal of the restaurant's menu doesn't even highlight the fact. Strrraaannnge! Anyhoo, my friend ordered the Quesadilla and I ordered the Birria Tacos. We ordered the Mini Flautas appetizer to share. All I can say is O. M. G!!! All of the food was fresh and over the top tasty!!! The service was great and the Server was friendly and patient. The iced drinks we had contained no off-putting smells like mold or slime in the ice machine. Always a plus! The restaurant was clean and inviting. Did I mention that the food was great?!? The tacos came with cilantro and cebolla but they came mixed so it was more cebolla than cilantro. The consomé was really good giving it a 8/10. The tacos tasted good, they had melted cheese on top. Your "aguas" we're not natural, were artificial and to sweet to my taste, server should said that the aguas are not natural. The food were just OK, unfortunately we had to ask for everything because the reaver tuck the order, got mad because we order soda because the aguas were horribly, she threw the food to our table and never came back, we had to go to the bust the server were seat playing with their phone and ask for everything else we want and need plus the food was incomplete. This is the perfect example how great opción food restaurant get ruined. We never get to see the manager that meant it was no manager or any of those kids and lazy server was in charge. Love this place! I've been here 4 times now after my niece found this place randomly online and wanted to try it. There's usually a line of people ordering takeout but you can just sit down and they'll bring you a menu for dine in. I usually prefer dine in since the tacos are fresh and that soup/stew gets all over your hands but in a delicious way. Also the hot sauce they give tastes awesome! It's tangy and a bit spicy as well in an orange coloring. For some reason, other places give the light green hot sauce that doesn't taste good at all to me. We always order the #1 Birria Tacos in either corn or flour. I prefer corn. The nachos are quite nice too as every chip has the same toppings on them. Not your typical basket of chips and toppings in a pile at the center. I keep wanting to try other items but the birria tacos keep getting me too full. The service at both the counter and at the dine in tables is always nice and this is coming from someone who's Asian and not Latin/Hispanic. Btw they don't have a Yelp page yet but try the Fruteria Delicias place a few doors down to the left afterwards. Being from Cali I've been on a search to find a place who makes Birria tacos in the Dallas region. This place was in the area of my location at the time. The "Birria" tacos were good, but didn't quite meet my expectations of a real Cali style Birria taco. There wasn't enough cheesiness for me. The dipping sauce was flavorful and not spicy. The picture on here with like 20 tacos is misleading because they only come with 4 tacos and dipping sauce. Don't get me wrong the tacos are good, and the meat was seasoned just right, but I have to stop comparing to what I'm use to at other places. 4 stars for the cleanliness of the dining environment, freshness and flavors of the tacos and customer service. we pass this place several times, the truck in front had a Taco Tuesday sign we decided to try it. It looks nice inside, we noticed the place has evening events, and a bar, but we didn't see a bar menu. When the quesadilla order came, it had rice and beans, but no guac, no pico, no sour cream, and my hubby's 2 tacos were missing, my tiny tacos came with a great green sauce, onions cilantro and limes, I was surprised how tiny they are, I kept looking for the server to ask for his tacos, and his guac, pico and sour cream, we were told we had to order that extra, he called it salad. I was confused the photo shows the guac and fixings, when he finally got his tiny taco, only one, and no green sauce, we asked for the green sauce, and they finally bought the other tiny taco. The server was so slow, and never came to check on us, I wanted to order 2 more tacos... I finally did, but and it took so long, we almost left.... Any way we won't return, anytime soon, the place wasn't busy, for the service to be slow, the food was ok, but not anything to write home about, I do not recommend this place. Unexpected hidden little gem! Very clean inside and decorated with fun upbeat colors. I was expecting a very small restaurant but it's quite large with a full bar and bar area. Staff was very friendly and attentive. The food was great. We had tacos de birria, beef and al pastor and they were all good. They put lots of meat in them. The torta was stuffed and came with yummy grilled onions. The only thing it was missing was mayo or crema but I got some on the side and it was perfect. Hubby ordered the Tilapia de La Fuente and loved it. Very large portion with lots of rice and vegetables. We got a house margarita and a watermelon one. These tacos are some of the best I've ever had! I had been here once before, and it was delicious then, but I wasn't able to write a review. I went again this past weekend and I rediscovered my love for Birria tacos at this hole in the wall spot. It was super small the last time I came, but this time they had remodeled and it's so much better! There's so much seating, and wall art, and the music was good too. I had gotten the Birria Tacos, which came with 4, and I got two Birria style, and 2 Al pastor style, and those came with a small bowl of consume broth, that itself tastes so good!
