My family and I have been coming here for 12 years (since they were were located in the Kroger strip). The staff is always extremely friendly and the food great. The managers work extremely hard and make everyone feel like family. Food recommendations- fajitas, stuffed jalapeño app, cheese dip, carnitas, choripollo, arroz con pollo. We visited at 5:00 on a Friday night. The restaurant wasn't crowded. There were more servers than tables seated. The servers were just chatting with each other, so we had horrible service (and mediocre food). We ordered adult drinks for 2, 4 adult meals, and one kids meal. The food arrived before the drinks. The kids meal was delivered ten minutes after the adult meals, and then was too hot to serve immediately. By the time it was cool enough for the small child to eat, three of the adults had finished their meal. We were not offered drink refills, and the server didn't come by for us to order a needed dinner to take out. We were from three different areas, and chose to meet there to get together. The service was so bad it ruined our evening. We won't meet there again. read more

Still looking for a sit-down restaurant to enjoy a good meal in White House? Dine here. Granted, I always order the same thing at nearly every mexicana I dine with (what I call a Mexican Cheese Steak - see photo), so my review is based solely on a Meat & Cheese diet. They have great tasting steak, the queso is as good as queso gets, and their service is excellent (because i've got the inside scoop on the best servers and I hope I tip well). My wife typically orders a Taco Salad or Chicken Fajita, and she's always pleased with what she gets, but she also doesn't complain much about anything unless it's just wrong or awful. The atmosphere and decor here is Mexican with most, if not all of the features and paintings being either made in Mexico or by Mexican hands with Mexican materials, including the hand-painted interior. (see the photos by HydnImages). This is a regular place for my wife and I to dine at, and our favorite mexicana in the area (not just White House). You might find me there from time to time. Freshest Mexican food in the area! I ordered the something "con guacamole" and it was excellent!! I'm never really that impressed with Mexican food in our area...but the food tasted really fresh here! From the chips and salsa to the corn tortillas...everything was up to par! Had dinner here about a week ago. Beer was cold. We should have stopped when we got the salsa. It was mostly tomato sauce/ paste and not much flavor. Usually you can measure a Mexican place by how good the salsa is and this holds true at this place. Food was marginally warm, plates were very hot. Food was bland, meaning not flavorful I'm not concerned with spicy. The bill was low but all in all it worth returning. This is our favorite Mexican restaurant! Everything is delicious, you can't go wrong anywhere on the menu. The entire staff is great, always friendly and the service is fast! If it tells you anything, we have eaten here 4 times out of the last 6 days. Great for large groups, family meals, or just a quick lunch. A+! read more

Bland Mexican food with no imagination. Even the name is lacking. Great looking building that they could have done so much with. Different lighting, more authentic Mexican, and live music would make for a better dining experience. They seem busy so doubt they will change anything. Outstanding place to eat if you like great Mexican food. The restaurant is beautiful and very clean. Quick service, again great food, and price is right.
