Unlike a lot of restaurants, it didn't smell like grease. Our waitress, Desiree, was friendly and very attentive. The food was some of the best Mexican food I have had in a long time. Fortunately they were not out of the carne asada for my burro. My husband's shrimp were still steaming over 5 minutes after they were served. The red sauce they were in tasted good. The chips were fresh and salsa had a nice kick to it. We tried the deep fried jalapeños and decided to place an order of them to go along with a combo plate and another burro. We will be back. It's a bit of a drive, but if we can drive an hour to Mesa to eat, we can do the same for Globe (ourother two experiences with Globe food were horrible).

I had a chorizo burro (same as a burrito, still trying to figure out the difference) and a cup of coffee. Coffee was ok, and did the job. But, the burro was great! Southwest breakfast burritos are some of the best, and when you're in the Southwest, definitely don't pass this up to have. This burro was also huge and despite the fact I was famished, I could only eat a half of my burro. You can get red or green salsa, but since I am a spice pansy, I opted for the red, which was still more spicy than I can handle. By 9:20am, I was finished eating and ready to go. You go up to the cashier and pay there. There's a desert and drinks case by the register and lots of goodies there to choose from too. There was baklava, organized cake and brownies on offer. I also spied a chamoy pickle for sale too, here in the Southwest when the summers get so hot, having a pickle is sometimes in order to replace the salt we lose sweating so much!
