Firstly time here. A friend recommended this place as they serve authentic Mexican food. That is true! Food was very very good. Now, in regards to the inside of the restaurant, I was disgusted. Tables were not clean ( I had to clean my own with sanitizer) and the floor is filthy dirty. I didn't even wanted to check the bathroom. The place doesn't feel safe in regards to hygiene. I won't be coming here again. I would probably do take out instead. In and Out!

I was here a month ago and I knew that I would have to come back. They have such a wide variety of foods for lunch. This time, I sat down in the restaurant and was able to leisurely enjoy my meal. All the foods behind the plasti-covered serving counter are labeled in Spanish. Everything looked so delicious, it was hard to choose. But I settled on beef desebrada, pork carnitas, rice, and beans. I ordered a large horchata as a beverage. All of this for only $15. Very friendly service at the counter and lots of hungry customers. I'll be back.

I've been here three times now so it's a regular spot. The menudo is solid though does have quite a kick with more chiles than any other menudo I've ever had. Also their gorditas are their best selling item so I recommend trying those. Lengua was disappointing but chicharones are large pieces with lots of flavor. Everytime I've been here it's also been quite busy, it's got a great reputation in the community and I recommend it for authentic Mexican cuisine.

I was a little put off by the exterior decor. The barred windows were the questionable part. There was a decent crowd for 10am when we got inside. They have full menus in addition to pictures of their popular plates along the wall. I ordered the chorizo plate since it was a breakfast item. I was a little disappointed in how little avocado I got. The plate was almost entirely chorizo. It was too much to finish! The salsas were really good too. The prices are good here.

This place is known for the gorditas but If you want menudo on the weekend or gorditas for lunch. This place is the spot to go to. It's always packed especially on weekends. They food is consistently good and they have a large variety of food. Don't forget to get your grilled jalapeños at the end.

The gorditas were perfectly made. They had the right amount of crisp, freshness and flavor. I chose to get mine filled with pork in green chili and carne asada. The rice and beans were ok, but I would skip them the next time. The place is definitely a hole in the wall and feels a little cramped so I would recommend ordering to go. When I'm back in Denver I will stop by again.

This place is legit. I grew up in Southern California and spent a bunch of time in Baja, this place reminds me of both. Authentic and delicious tacos al pastor and a coke. Yes they have orange Fanta and I can't believe I didn't order that. Looks like they have homemade horchata too. Love it.

Surprisingly good, authentic hidden gem I encountered on my neighborhood walk. Cleaned my cheese enchiladas plate. Will be back for more.

I grabbed a seat at the bar where the bartender was friendly and engaging. On a recent Wednesday at 7:15, the restaurant was packed. When I left around 8:30, it was still busy. That's usually the best review a restaurant can get. Loyal customers don't keep coming back out of habit. They come back because it feels like home. The all-day happy hour margarita for $9 certainly doesn't hurt. The second one arrives before you've had time to argue yourself out of it. I ordered the enchiladas with carne asada and their house mole. If you're expecting one of those intensely complex moles with enough ingredients to fill a pantry, this isn't that. Adelitas' version is comforting, approachable, and deeply homey. It tastes less like a culinary experiment and more like something your abuela has been making for decades. The carne asada was tender, the rice and beans were exactly what they should be, and every bite reminded me why comfort food never goes out of style. Before leaving, I made the smartest decision of the evening. Tres leches to go. I devoured it later at home while Netflix asked if I was still watching. The cake somehow manages to be light while completely satisfying. Don't skip it. Better yet, don't pretend you're saving it for tomorrow. Adelitas isn't trying to impress you. It's trying to feed you well, welcome you warmly, and send you home happier than when you arrived. Whether your abuela was Mexican...or Greek...you'll understand exactly what they're serving here.

Seeing their prominent signage out front, one immediately senses the high reputation of this establishment, and it delivers in every single respect. Stepping inside, the venue presents a splendidly authentic Mexican aesthetic, adorned with vibrant cultural accents while maintaining an environment that is pristine and spotlessly clean. Both the exterior presentation and interior arrangement radiate genuine charm and elegance, creating an inviting, lively setting for a weekend meal. The hospitality was top-tier from the moment I crossed the threshold gracious, spirited, and delightfully warm. To begin, I ordered a Spicy Margarita, which was an absolute masterpiece! Mixed to sheer perfection, it offered a brilliant, fiery kick that served as the ultimate weekend refreshment. For my main course, I selected the Fajita Burrito, generously smothered in their signature Green Chili sauce. When it arrived, it proved to be a magnificent culinary triumph rich, deeply flavorful, and executed with superb, authentic skill. Personally I got the carnitas and was shocked at the portion! The presentation was beautiful and overall it was quite tasty. The hard part with this meal was that the black bean puree was underneath all the meat and au jus so it was a bit challenging to scoop up and put in the tacos. Everyone enjoyed their meals and we were pretty stuffed that we couldn't make it to dessert.
