Such delicious chicken!! That marinade!! Its a great deal to get a whole chicken with 2 medium sides. We got the potato salad which my husband LOVES and white rice for me. Paired with the delicious salsa (both hot and mild) it is an amazing dinner! Since its just the 2 of us we had leftovers :) It is a small place and staff is nice. They have dessert options too. Knocked a star off for floor cleanliness but i would definitely come back.

Review #614 None Elite Squad hmmm... the average is 3 stars ..I wonder why? The place inside is not the newest but its clean, Customer Service is Great..very nice and polite .. Parking depending at what time could be full near but there's always atleast a Spot somewhere. The Food.. I always get 2 Chickens which are a la Brasa, Large Rice, Large Beans Medium Salsa, half corn and half flour tortillas and I always get a Large Coleslaw added..total comes out to $53.98.. but since I always use a card I get charged Extra.. $1.68.. I dont like that to be honest and I dont see a sign anywhere saying im gonna get charged 3% if I use my card except on the receipt once I get it... so im deducting a Star for that cause that's a hidden fee..also the cashier didnt tell me this would happen.. other than that, besides that its pricy .. its good and I say go for it l.

Nachos chicken salsa cheese beans guacamole, no sour cream
    Maryann A.

Pretty good food. Got the #1 family pack and the chicken nachos minus the sour cream. They prepared the order kinda fast. They don't do the tip thing which is a plus but you can still leave a tip if you like. The nachos had good large chunks of chicken. The means were refried with a good consistency. I will definitely be back.

    Raw chicken just hanging out.

Saw this just hanging out for almost half an hour. Totally ruined my appetite. Avoid.

    This is half a chicken!!!

Had not been here in years. I went today since I was in the area. I purchased the family meal with 2 whole chickens plus sides to go for around $42. I was extremely disappointed when I opened the chicken container. The chicken was cut in two halves. Each half was as small as my hand. Ridiculously small. I couldn't make out the legs. Certainly not worth the money. You're better off buying a chicken at Costco or Sams for $5!!

It's in a big shopping center, which can be a bit of a mission to find parking, but honestly the food makes it worth it. Right when you walk in, the vibe hits you. It's a modern mariscos spot with cool indigenous-inspired designs and colors that give it a lot of character without feeling too much. We sat at the bar and David the bartender took care of us. Super friendly, knew the menu well, and helped guide us through what to order. He pointed us to the all day happy hour margaritas. Not gonna lie, we were skeptical because happy hour margaritas can be a big miss, but these were legit. The hamachi margarita was really well balanced, smooth, not too sweet, and easy to keep sipping on. My wife ordered the charbroiled octopus and it was really good. Cooked perfectly, tender with a nice char but not overdone. It came with cheesy potatoes that had a slight tang from the Mexican cheese, which actually paired really well with the octopus. It was a little cold out so I went with the caldo 7 mares. This one didn't hit the same. The broth was lacking flavor and the seafood quality just didn't match everything else we had. Even with that, I'd definitely come back. The drinks alone are worth it, especially if David's working, and next time I'm sticking with more of the charbroiled seafood options.

We've been coming here since they first opened, and the food has always been delicious. Over the years, we've seen a lot of changes, but the friendly service has remained consistent. One thing I've noticed recently is that the salsa served with the chips isn't the same as it used to be. It seems much more watered down now, which takes away from the flavor we used to enjoy. Another issue is the restroom situation. There is only one restroom stall, and on busy days the wait can be quite long. It can be inconvenient, especially when the restaurant is crowded. Overall, the food is still very good, and this restaurant holds many special memories for my family. I hope they consider improving the salsa and restroom accommodations to make the dining experience even better.

The idea was to enjoy my coffee while getting organized--paying bills, planning calendar events, and having the opportunity to focus without any distractions from my usual surroundings. In search of the perfect spot, I turned to Yelp, a reliable resource for uncovering hidden gems nearby. Upon stepping into the coffee shop, I was immediately greeted with warm hospitality, setting the tone for a delightful experience. The ambiance of the place was truly captivating--it was bright and welcoming, infused with an aesthetic charm that instantly put me at ease. I couldn't help but be intrigued by the design elements throughout the shop, which added an inviting touch to its overall atmosphere. Before I settled in, I asked the staff if I could snap a few photos to capture the essence of this delightful space. They graciously welcomed my request, and I was shown to my table, which, quite uniquely, was designated by a number--a small detail that I found charming. As I browsed the menu, I encountered a small conundrum: I wasn't entirely sure what to order. I wanted to break the mold and try something out of the ordinary. My curiosity was piqued by their exclusive offering of Café de la Olla--a traditional hot drink that piqued my interest right away. I ultimately settled on a hearty plate that included rice, beans, and enticing potato tostones, accompanied by two beautifully cooked sunny-side-up eggs. As I waited for my order, I noticed the café was filled with the sweet sounds of old-school music from the '60s and '70s, which only enhanced the cozy ambiance while I sipped my drink. Now, let's talk about the food! I must say, I rated the café itself a solid 4 out of 5 for its overall charm, while the rice earned a respectable 4 out of 5. The beans were rich in flavor and received a fair 3.9 out of 5. The potato tostones, delicately bathed in a savory red sauce, stood out with an impressive score of 4.3 out of 5--these are a must-try if you visit! And as for the sunny-side-up eggs, they were good, but hey, eggs are eggs, right? Overall, the entire experience was quite enjoyable, from the delightful food to the warm atmosphere. A special shout-out goes to Ana, whose exceptional customer service made my visit even more memorable. The combination of fantastic service, inviting aesthetics, and satisfying food truly made for a perfect morning retreat. I can't recommend this spot enough for anyone looking for a relaxing place to unwind and focus on what matters.
