I hadn't been in a while and I was pleasantly surprised that their food is still very tasty. We ordered their popular asada nachos and the chips were super crunchy and fresh, the asada was tendered and their salsa options were great. The potato tacos was also crunchy, with a special sauce that we couldn't figure out what was so special. The caldo de res was a good portion with various veggies and a small side of rice, which was freshly cooked and super fluffy. The salsa bar has various options, there are rábanos and limes but no cucumbers which I prefer with tacos. I always like their burritos. The soft carne asada tacos are horrible, but that's another story. I ordered a wet burrito with carnitas and green sauce. This is what I got. A carnitas burrito sprinkled with cheese and a half of a tablespoon of green sauce. Even cut it in half to see if maybe the "wet" was on the inside. Sadly, no. And also no crema or guac or onions and cilantro or even some pico on top. The burrito is good, but this is not a wet burrito by any means. Yay or Nay? 0/2 Been here a few times and it's been pretty inconsistent in my experience. Asada burrito is good sometimes, but other times I get pieces of chewy gristle. Chicken tacos were big and tasted okay but were served with guacamole by default. I personally like my tacos with just onions, cilantro and salsa but that was my fault for not asking beforehand. Chorizo tacos were okay, wouldn't reorder. Same with the milanesa torta. Breakfast burrito with ham wasn't good. Ham cubes are too big. My sister ordered a breakfast burrito without meat one time and it was better than mine somehow. Out of the 4-5 times I've been here I only enjoyed the food once. "Gotta pump those numbers up. Those are rookie numbers in this racket." Expense 0/1 Prices aren't too bad, but since they keep serving food inconsistently, I wouldn't say it has been worth it to me. I'd recommend eating here so if there is something wrong with your order you can at least have them try to make it again or get your money back. We made the mistake of taking the food to go most times and got stuck with whatever they gave us. Location 1/1 Plenty of parking, accept debit/credit cards, and staff is polite. We always share it when we have that random once in a blue moon craving. Our specific order has to come with half asada and half pastor and no beans. The super fries naturally comes with queso, crema, and guacamole. I don't know what it is .. maybe it's just old memories in each bite, but it always hits! I can't really speak on any other menu item, but the fries. The fry always crispy and not soggy. We also always have all the salsas on the side. My husband is a drencher, but I'm a dipper. The food here is extremely greasy. Now all fast food is, but it's ridiculous how greasy the food is. It shouldn't be dripping all over and be more wet than solid. I've tried their quesadillas and quesabirrias and it's disgustingly full of oil that isn't patted down and isn't drained properly. Looks like they just slapped all the wet dripping meat on an already soggy tortilla. It doesn't look very appetizing, and honestly gross. I recommend other cleaner places. Great food and great portions! Enormous burritos, I got carnitas they were awesome! Fish tacos are solid and on sale Tuesday & Friday. I like less of the sauce and onions and put green salsa on them. Order of chips is grande. The takeout food situation overall is not good imo and that makes this place exceptional now! I will get pics soon. You get four good size Chiles for only a dollar. That's s great deal! The Chiles are flawlessly salted as well. Another great feature about this joint is that the menu selection has tons of options. There's something for everyone. I really love the burritos here. I've enjoyed their bean and cheese, their carne asada, and my favorite, the "Crazy Breakfast Burrito".
