    Enchilada and taco combo
    Anthony B.

Great place to get a bite to eat. Really friendly and clean. Chips and salsa upon arrival which is always good. Salsa was much better than I expected. Really diverse menu so it took a moment to decide. Tried one of the combos. Overall the food is good just not as spicy as I'm expecting being from Texas. The red enchilada sauce was a bit odd tasting of cinnamon to me. Not over powering but more like a Christmasy flavor. Tacos were nice, surprising to see the use of white Mexican style cheese. Again I would have liked a bit more spicy goodness. Either way I did enjoy my meal. The service was excellent as well.

Had an awesome meal with my wife two weeks ago here while on vacation to Shenandoah. The food was outstanding, one of the better burritos I have ever had. Service was very polite albeit didn't check in too often, and the ambiance was perfect for the type of Mexican cuisine setting.

    Burrito. 2/5 for effort.

I dont even think they tried to roll it tbh. Pretty annoying with how often we order. Almost 20$ for some food with a tortilla on top essentially

Mexican burrito which is 2 burritos

A very typical Tex-Mex restaurant with lots of menu options and huge portions. You get chips and drinks upon sitting down and the servers are quick with the orders. My boyfriend and I ordered the Mexican burrito which is actually two burritos (one with carnitas and one with carne asada) while I ordered the chicken and spinach enchiladas covered in their queso sauce. Everything tasted fine and I was super happy when they brought me some of their hotter hot sauce. P.S. The queso wasn't half bad!

I ordered a simple appetizer of chips, salsa, and guacamole to go for the price of $8.00 and this is considered an app. This isn't even a side. So very disgusted in rip off.

    Jalisco Burrito

Nice place. Warm atmosphere. Nice staff. A little loud. Food was delicious and in large portions. Chorizo queso was flavorful and the chorizo had the perfect amount of spice. Jalisco Burrito was huge, had plenty of leftovers. Burrito advertised as having steak, chicken, chorizo and shrimp. Two little yet important details kept from giving 5 stars. The steak was very tough in the burrito and I was inning alone so the servers were more attentive to the larger parties. Overall an excellent dining experience. Will return next time I'm in town.

The restaurant started out just so-so -- equivalent of 2-3 stars. It has greatly improved. Great food. comparably 'reasonable prices.

PSA, Burrito Jalisco is the best thing you will ever have in your mouth. Service is excellent as is the complementary chips and salsa.

Stop calling yourself Mexican food! Your food is terrible, blend, and lacks taste! The beans looks stale and unappetizing.

Prices are reasonable. Restaurant is spacious and clean. Lots of decorations to provide that Mexican restaurant feel. Staff were friendly and efficient. This is a great stop to satisfy your hunger and get some rest before continuing your trip home. I strongly recommend you stop here and give this place a try. Must mention plenty of free parking and my husband loved the homemade coleslaw dip that came with the chips. Finally, they are open until 10:00pm. Perfect for the late night trip.

They had a $5.50 lime margarita special....did not need the 2nd one but yummy. I ordered the Rancho Nuevo Fajitas - there was plenty for two people to fully enjoy and still bring some home. Wonderful flavors, the char added an extra yumm factor She had the Asada plate and enjoyed every bite. A nice thin steak cooked perfectly with the perfect amount of sides to stuff the tortillas. To top it off we had a tasty flan. I would have preferred a warm sauce over the top but it was still enjoyable. Out of the 3 Mexican restaurants this has become our new #1, the salsa bar has won us over.

First off, stellar response to my Google review. Truly impressive how it managed to take zero…read moreresponsibility, suggest everything I personally could have done differently, and even imply I was in the wrong establishment. A masterclass in deflection. Here's what actually happened. I walked in to a full café with no one at the front counter. I stood there for a few minutes--no greeting, no acknowledgment, no "be right with you." I didn't see a bell, and frankly, I shouldn't need one to announce my presence in a business that exists to serve customers. I eventually left to check the place down the street for an egg sandwich. They were closed. So I came back. I waited another 2-3 minutes, then looked through the kitchen window--where I found two employees sitting down, on their phones, chatting. They were not preparing food. They were not working, no tidying up. It looked very much like break time... except the café was full and I was waiting for any sign of an employee. When I finally placed my order, it felt like I was speaking a different language. No apology. No acknowledgment that I'd been standing there for five or six minutes waiting. Just indifference. Yes, I get it--it's a coffee shop. But the issue isn't coffee. It's completely inept staff and, based on your response, equally inept ownership. You mentioned "checking in on employees." Respectfully--no, you're not. If you were, they wouldn't be hiding in the kitchen on their phones while customers stand around wondering if the place is open. The moment one employee finally made eye contact with me, it was very clear: "Oh crap." That's when the other employee was sent out front. This happened this morning, 12/29. As an owner, this should be a teachable moment: you're paying people to serve customers, not scroll their phones hiding in the kitchen while a full café waits.

The thing that put me off was the aggressive signage everywhere prohibiting this and that. No pets, restrooms for customers only, tables reserved for 2 or more customers, no outside food, etc. I'm sympathetic to business owners trying to prevent customers from taking advantage in various ways, but these kinds of things set an unwelcoming tone that annoys me. If you don't show a little confidence that your customers are good people, they will feel your judgment.
