Sausage egg and cheese breakfast sandwich on a croissant, a peach smoothie, and a cocomocha large coffee.
    Lily B.

The cocomocha latte was pretty good, I'd say a 7.5/10. The peach smoothie was a 9.5/10 according to my girlfriend. The breakfast sandwiches were good, could have gone without the savory spread on them, the croissants were extremely crumbly, may just want to get their croissants at Costco, 7/10. Overall the atmosphere and music are great and the employees are super nice and the service is fast.

Stopped in before going hiking. We ordered the lox bagel, breakfast burrito, and some tater tots. All were wonderful. The burrito's wrap came toasted, which is a first for me and the sausage in it was delicious. The bagel was loaded with cream cheese and salmon.

    Cherry turnover - nope
    Rachel M.

Cherry turnover looked good in the case, but after it was microwaved, the pastry tasted chewy instead of flaky and fell completely flat. Shouldn't a toaster oven be on hand to reheat the baked goods? Grabbed a bag of coffee beans to go. We both agree the beans taste burnt. Not a good second visit, so we'll find ourselves another spot for sweet treats and coffees.

We had grilled chicken and grilled veggie sandwiches on marble rye with a cappuccino and iced tea. Everything was just right. Friendly service and they had relaxing areas to eat inside and outside.

Stopped in for some caffeine and breakfast one weekday morning. I ordered a cold brew and a breakfast sandwich - a Sausage, egg, and cheese on a croissant. The breakfast sammie was tasty and yummy. The cold brew, however, was a bit on the weak side for my palate. Plenty of seating inside, service was good. #MainStreetDailyGrind

Super great coffee lots of options. We got the soup flight it had brocoli cheddar lemon chicken and rice soup. Amazing all of them. We also grabbed a salmon wrap and grilled ham and cheese. Can't rave enough. Must try

Stopped here to grab food on our way to Skyline Drive. We ordered an apple turnover (which they heated for us) and a breakfast sandwich which was extra delicious. The breakfast sandwich tasted like it might have had mustard in it? I'm not sure if that is what it was, but I've never had a breakfast sandwich like it before and I will try and make it on my own this way moving forward. I got the coco mocha - and it might be the best latte I've ever had (and I am a latte addict). There was lots of seating and staff was super friendly.

Main Street Daily Grind is a unique coffee shop in Front Royal VA. Imagine Starbucks, but with better food choices, an ice cream stand and a kids area. Quite amazing in fact. Happened in here waiting for the local brewery to open. On Yelp it said the Brewery would open at 11am,but the door of the Brewery said noon. Kind of glad they weren't open or I would not have been able to experience the Daily Grind. We had chicken panini and fried mushrooms, salmon but with fries, a sweet tea and a double espresso con panna which is basically with a dollop of foam. The atmosphere is serene. The service was great here. It would return if I every come back to this beautiful sleepy town.

Came here on a Sunday morning, and surprisingly wasn't too busy. There was quite a variety to choose from as far as eats go...even ice cream from Homestead Creamery! We had the breakfast sliders. You get to choose your meat, I chose bacon. There was some sort of horseradish sauce on it that was so good. Tied the whole slider together. I'd never thought to pair horseradish with bacon, egg and cheese...but now, I'm going to try to replicate whatever that sauce was. I also ordered bulletproof coffee. It was light with kind of a fluffy texture. Bulletproof coffee is meant to be a breakfast replacement, but I figured since the slider was small...why not?!? The shop was pretty big, with lots of little seating areas. The baristas were friendly and helpful. I really appreciated the cleanliness and all the small comfortable seating areas...it helped with social distancing.

The veggies weren't soggy, the cheese was melty, and the bacon was perfectly crisp. Whatever chef was working on July 12th around noon please give them a huge thank you from me. I'm still dreaming of it. The home fries were also tender perfection and the biscuit rivaled my grandmother's, may she RIP. You can tell this is a place where the locals go. Atmosphere was homey, with old-time photos of FroRo on the wall, and waitresses wandered about offering refills of coffee and bantered with the regulars. We will return!

Drove all the way from Jersey to find a waitress from Cherry Hill ... felt welcome right away!!…read more We had been on the road for a couple hours and needed breakfast. "Our Home Town Diner" sounded good, had positive reviews, and most importantly was open at 7am. What a treat and definitely a feel of home town friendliness including the aforementioned waitress who almost was from our home town. I spotted the Jar Bowl on the menu so I asked the waitress how their sausage gravy was. She said both the sausage and chopped beef gravies were "really delicious" so I said give me the Jar with its biscuit, gravy, meat-filled omelette and jalapenos (She did ask if I was aware of those spicy devil's and I just smiled ). The "Jar Bowl" was AWESOME and the gravy delicious (I only order "gravy" in southern states.)!! Everyone's breakfasts were delicious and more than reasonably priced plus the coffee kept coming!! The dining room had historic photos and we flew at home! What a great place to eat!!
