How can a Mexican restaurant mess up rolled taquitos? Well, this place did and it reflects a lack of effort. We ordered many taquitos for the family and we were very disappointed. They looked like and tasted stale like the rolled tacos from the frozen food section at any market. My wife's taquitos were burnt. They hardly put any guacamole on them and it looked old or they baked the taquitos with the guacamole, either way it's a guacamole fail. Not only they did not put any effort into it, they were way overpriced. We expected more. Any decent Mexican restaurant should make their rolled taquitos in their own kitchen and all ingredients should be fresh. We are not coming back. read more

Second time I try this place the first time I had the carne asada fries and I liked them I also had the rolled taquitos they tasted like supermarket tacos from the frozen food section and today I thought I'd give them a second chance I ordered the 619 nachos the meat was poorly seasoned and undercooked and pretty much plane nothing special you guys gotta do better than that read more

They have a footlong burrito that is great. We tried the 619. I wasn't big on having fries in my burrito but it actually worked out well. I've never seen a larger burrito. They also have great chips and salsa which makes or breaks a Mexican food place for me. Monday through Thursday they have deals as am extra bonus. It's a small business doing big things. About 15min later I received 6 small pieces of meat that was cold when I bit in , on top of 3/4 cup of beans which I didn't order. Tried to get iced tea it didn't work. Was driving through when I stopped here, and all I can say is that I am deeply saddened that there is not a location near me!!! The food here was amazing! I had the Chipotle Monster Burrito, and it was everything I had to finish it. A foot of delicious burrito! What more could you want? I went to Los Primos for the 3rd time Monday night, and man I really want to like this place because it's so close to home but for the 3rd time it just sucks! My husband and I each got a carne asada quesadilla and all of the meat was in 2/4 slices, so the other were just cheese and on top of like no cheese at all. So you pay $18 for 2 slices of a mediocre bland unseasoned and lazily made quesadilla! Their food is way to expensive for the quality of it. That was the 3rd and final time we will ever go there. To top it off too the girls working the front are always extremely snotty, no hi or anything. Just "can I help you?" I hope this place closes down and gives someone else the opportunity to serve good food and good customer service. read more

My mom and I have been struggling to find a decent Mexican restaurant in the Temecula Valley for literally 10 years and we finally found it today. Lots of selection for everyone, including vegetarians, which is very important for me. The salsa bar is nice, although most of the salsa is still too spicy for me and my mom, so next time I will order sides of ranch or the cilantro sauce for dipping. I had the veggie wrap with cilantro sauce and it was excellent. My mom and grilled fish tacos and was very happy. Good selection of soft drinks and if you get tired of one flavor, just go back with your cup and pick something else. Plain water and sparkling water are ALSO available from the soda machine! The prices are very fair. Nice to have choice of black beans or pinto beans. I even tried the French fries just for kicks and they made them well done the way I prefer! The food was OKAY. I ate here one other time, and it was pretty good so we decided to try it again for taco Tuesday. This time my husband got the all you can eat tacos, and the service was so slow that it wasn't even worth it. They only let you get four tacos at a time, which is understandable, but if you have to wait 10 minutes in between each plate, by then you're not even that hungry anymore! The last time he went up to get his plate we were waiting for like 15 minutes. So my husband went back up and asked for the tacos and the lady said that he never asked for them! Then the cook came from behind the counter and proceeded to defend her! We don't care we just wanted the tacos! Even another patron heard what was going on and told us, "Yeah this place is good but they are slow!" So, after telling the cashier that I wanted 2 orders of the regular taquitos and my burrito, I tipped the guys 18% for a to go order. Generally, my rule of thumb for tipping is dependent on service, but this time I did it ahead of time. They only made a single order of the taquitos and the burrito. Mind you, I was the ONLY person in here aside from the employees, it took 25 minutes for them to make A burrito and 5 taquitos. I was only charged for one order, so I'm not upset about the money, I would have paid and tipped the same amount if they charged me for both orders. I'm upset that they took so long to make the food. It's not a restaurant, it's a fast food taco joint. Again, should I be upset, probably not, but I'm now waiting on an extra 15 min for the other order of taquitos...still the only one in here...ooh, wait, someone else just walked in as I'm typing this. I love los promos but this branch usually disappoints. I haven't come back in a while but I decided to grab some burritos for a few of us today. Ordered over the phone and was told 15-20 minutes. Came in 10 minutes later, stood in line and paid and then was told it would be 15 minutes. The people in line before me got their food before me. The guy who came in after me got his food before me. There was a burrito on the counter nobody was claiming and the girl offered it to me asking if it was mine and I said no I ordered 3 Cali burritos. She turned Around and grabbed a bag and asked if I was Zach, I said yes and she handed me the bag. They're not even hot anymore. Hopefully they at least made them right. Normally has been a pretty consistent lunchtime fare for us (we work just around the corner). Lately, something's changed... the portions are smaller and prices don't justify. Today was possibly the topper; the normal carne asada burrito, but only had about a tablespoon of salsa and less guac (there was green, but couldn't confirm the presence of it) - and it was all on one end of the burrito - 3/4 of the burrito was just steak - dry and not very tasty.. Normally I love this place. It tastes great and the servers are really nice. Tonight when I went in they took out the video game machine. What is a Mexican fast food place with out an arcade game?? Then I ordered my favorite california burrito it was 6:15p on sat dec 6th. It took exactly 30 min to come up. I asked then if there was any way we could get a free soda or something for the super long wait. They said no because it was busy and they were sorry. I do not go out of my way to get free stuff. This place has the worst customer service and manager that I have ever dealt with. Got home to find we were missing four tacos. Spent almost $40. When i called was told they could not refund and since I didnt get a receipt from them, they couldnt do anything. I asked to review the register to see my purchase and was told the manager had something to do and they did not have access. I said I would go back and show them my charge on my bank app and they said they still couldnt help me. WORST SERVICE EVER!!!! I live an hour away and my parents are disabled and cannot drive there. Pretty sad when you walk in and the place is empty. We walk to the counter and there is no one to be seen. Once we did see the workers, they were arguing in the back with each other. Furthermore, once they did see us and we placed our order, it took 20 mins for a burrito and a taco. Guess they weren't done fighting because they went back behind the counter and continued to fight.
