Definitely no vibrant atmosphere. This is a takeout place. 3 tables inside, no decor. Plan to picnic or something because there is no atmosphere lol. I do like that they didnt have diced potato in my beef enchiladas like some places use (cheap filler)... the steak burrito was tasty- expect cilantro. I ordered to go this time. Food still great. So I ordered vegetarian taco and tostada. The taco was fire to have no meat. Great fresh veggies. The tostado has a salty cheese on it which was throwing me off a little but still good. I also ordered chicken taco and steak taco mexican style. The steak was a little too smoky this time. The chicken taco was moist and juice gone in seconds. I also ordered elotes, but it wasn't on th3 cob they cut it anf put in container. It was fresh not some old voiled corn. Im glad becuase i ordered late like 930 pm and they close at 10 pm. Lastly, I aslo ordered guac without tomatoes. Omg yall still excellent. Im stuffed but still eating on it. I still gave them 4 because the food was still great but my taste buds is particular its not the restaurant fault. The new things i had was the chicken taco, corn and vegetarian tacos. Have eaten here several times. It was a "go to" place during college until they relocated to a smaller area that focuses mainly on carry out. Very tasty tacos! The meat is always on point and the food tastes very authentic. The spicy salsas are amazing! Not for everyone but they are a hit in my household since they actually taste like "chile" and not just tomato. Their specialty is the "Al pastor" or spicy pork tacos. I've lived by this place for about a year and I keep saying I'm going to stop. I decided to try it the other day and I was happy that I did! I ordered a Cecina taco dinner. The Cecina was good. It was a little more cooked than I usually like, but still very tasty. What amazed me were the beans and rice! The beans were amazing. Soo flavorful and delicious. The rice was very good too. Used a Doordash coupon to try pick up order. First time, less than 5 minutes from my house. Ordered 3 different items. All fantastic. Pork would be 1st, followed by the Steak. Absolutely delicious food! Everything is cooked fresh which explains the long wait for the food to come out. My favorite dishes are the Tampiqueña which has tender, juicy steak and the filete a la diabla which is a delicious spicy fish fillet. The Horchata water is actually fresh and tastes great. The al pastor tacos are delicious -by far the best type of tacos they have there. The prices have definitely gone up from their previous prices at the other location. Waitresses have improved and gotten a lot more friendly and efficient. Overall, amazing food! read more

I love this place! The Horchata is the best I've tasted in town, the salsa is phenomenal, and the servers are always attentive when we eat there. My favorite dish has to be the chilaquiles or flautas. Being from California, and tasting various high ranking restaurants through out the West Coast, Texas and Colorado, Los Taquitos Mexican Cuisine of Kenosha, Wisconsin, takes the lead in the best Mexican food I've ever experience. During my stay in Kenosha, I was able to try multiple dishes. Each dish was just as delicious as the next. Flavors so rich, everything cooked thoroughly, and meats all tender. I would say that my favorite dish, in its simplest form, was Tacos al Pastor. I already have a list of items I still need to try at the restaurant on my next visit. We have been looking for a mexican restaurant we can call our own and we found it at Los Taquitos. We eat mainly vegetarian and we were thrilled to find that Los Taquitos has a vegetarian menu. The veggie burrito and veggie tacos are amazing. They are a currently under staffed,which can be frustrating if you come during dinner rush, but the staff are all friendly and do their best. I went here after I found out that the old Los Taquitos didn't close, they just moved. I was so excited to go and have one of their burritos that I fell in love with at their old location. Nothing in the area comes close. Great tortilla, steak, and sauces. For the most part the quality of the food is the same, just a smaller burrito. So no real issue there. However, service was terrible!!! The waitress did not seem to want to be there. She would disappear for awhile and then just really deliver food and clean up after old tables. I finished my drink before dinner even came out. She never offered another one, even though I placed the empty at the end of the table. We finished our chips before dinner, and when I asked for another basket, she seemed hesitant. Never once checked in with us, unless we pulled her aside. I really hope they can address this situation quickly. They went ahead and transformed from a taqueria to a restaurant, and that is fine, but service needs to change and change fast. They make the best burritos! It's packed with the fillings! I've ordered burritos from other Mexicans restaurants before, and they're greasy most of the time. But NOT this place! Ive had other dishes from here too, those seem less oily/greasy too. I tried Los Taquitos twice now and the best that I can give them is a 3 stars. Their steak tacos are decent. I'm not a fan of their pastor which they are suppose to be famous for. Their rice is ok and their chips and salsa are as well. I feel that they are very middle of the road. Their prices aren't great. My daughter and I went on a Tuesday which we were told the tacos were $1.25 each. We ordered a total of 2 cans of soda, 1 chips and salsa, 1 side of rice, and 5 tacos that came to almost $20. When I asked why so much when the tacos are $1.25, The cashier said "Oh....that's only for pastor tacos". Well that would have been nice to know when I ordered. NOT that I would have had the pastor tacos as I didn't think they were good. BUT I may have ordered differently (like maybe a taco dinner that came with rice) instead of the way I did. They also don't have dine in. They package everything to go and you can sit at one of their 3 or 4 tables and eat out of the bag if you want (literally chips out of the bag). I just thought that for middle of the road food, they really should be better priced. I probably won't be back as I can go to my favorite Mexican place in Zion and get 2 taco dinners that include rice and beans and free salsa for less than this. Terrible! Service Terrible! Food Terrible! We went for breakfast - I had the mexican omelet my husband the american omelet - the only difference was american cheese vs. chihuahua cheese. There was one table of 4 people and I believe family in the other room - one server and it took about 20 minutes to get our meal after waiting at least 10 minutes to order. Don't know if the building is cursed because all the other businesses that have occupied this space also were extremely slow and bad. Would not recommend. read more
