I've never been to this location, but I have ordered DoorDash twice for these shrimp fajitas and they are so good. There is so much flavor. And the rice and beans are good too. Most Mexican restaurants the rice is super dry and the beans have no flavor but they got it down here! The food is still very hot when it arrives and my Agua de Jamaica has a tamper evidence steel on it so I know nobody messed with it! I will be ordering again in the future!!! read more

Had business was in the area so we stopped here for lunch. WOW! Service was excellent, prices very reasonable but most importantly the food was fantastic! Rice was flavorful and hot, beans had the perfect consistency and were flavorful. We enjoyed the guacamole. The salsa was a little runny but had good flavor and plenty of cilantro. My son and I had a long day of driving on our road trip and wanted some good Mexican food. We stopped in based upon a quick search on the phone. We followed GPS to arrive at El Pueblito Mexican. The service was prompt and efficient. A very young waiter helped us. I think he was practicing his ESL skills as his diction and pronunciation was nearly perfect. I was pleased to be served by such a young man. Drinks and chips and salsa were brought out immediately. My son had the combination, I had the chicken fajita salad. The salad was really quite good but the guacamole was not quite like I am used to on the west coast. The ambiance is a hybrid restaurant take out in a strip mall setting. The dining is rather casual as there are no table cloths or glass covers on the tables. All in all a very respectable hi quality to cost ratio eatery. The food here was absolutely delicious. I'm always wary of having Mexican food outside of SoCal and Texas but this was delicious and authentic! You can tell the salsa is homemade and some of the best around. The carne asada tacos were amazing and a special shoutout to the beans. I really enjoyed those. The customer service was just as good as the food, and our waiter and waitress were very nice. I really loved the Spanish music videos in the background. It really made the ambiance feel authentic. Don't let the location or logo deceive you, this is an authentic and delicious Mexican spot. It's affordable with large portions and prompt service. Loved the tamale and chicken enchilada. The steak taco was also good, but the tamale was super tender and chicken had a really nice flavor. We went on a Sunday around 3 and it was packed but we got are food fairly quickly. Small place in a strip mall, but has amazing food! I asked our server what he recommended and he said everything. He was right everything we had was great! The salsa has a nice taste and a little bit of a bite. I got the fajitas with jalapeños and I am not sure I can do fajitas with regular green peppers again- this was a game changer. Wow what a treat! We were leaving Michaels in Racine staring down the barrel of another Jersey Mikes or Q'Doba dinner when we saw this gem and decided to give it a try. So glad we did. As transplants to Kenosha from Los Angeles we lived most our lives spoiled rotten when it came to Mexican food. Coming here we've tried a few and been sorely disappointed each time. LA Fogata, yuck. El Camino, barely Mexican. Tacos El Rey pretty good but limited selections. This place was by far the most authentic Mexican food I've had outside of Cali or Texas. We had the carne asada plate, carne asada tacos and an amazing wet burrito and we all loved our food. Plus, the margaritas! Bomb! They had three very different but equally delicious salsa choice and the staff couldn't have been more pleasant. read more

Absolutely fantastic Mexican food. Very diverse menu. Cute interior decor with painted chairs. Chips and salsa were great. If you want a second basket, there is a charge. I tried the combination platter with a steak taco, chicken enchilada, and pork tamale. Everything was delicious, but the tamale was PHENOMENAL. No fountain drinks, but they do have canned and bottled coke to choose from. Very reasonably priced. Quick service even when very busy. Can't wait to go back! read more

My all time favorite lil Mexican restaurant. I always get the chicken tacos or the flautas. You get chips and salsa when you get there - the green salsa is my favorite. If you get extra chips though, you have to pay. They know our orders by heart now. They once forgot to put in an order of guac and made up for it by paying for it that order and the next time we came in. Now that's service. They are always pleasant and fast. The service was good, but I cannot give the food five stars like everyone else. I ordered two steak tacos and one chicken enchilada (came with rice and beans). I'm not a glutton or anything, but serving size seemed very small -maybe two tbs of rice and the same for the beans. The taco size were those mini size tortillas and the meat was not even filled. Delicious food. Pleasantly surprised that it would be that delicious in a tiny strip mall. I love the strawberry margueritas, and after trying many mexican restaurants, I feel they have the best and freshest salsa! The three times we've been there it was fresh and tasty. They don't overload it with onion and tomato, and luckily not a lot of cilantro (icky). I guess if you like cilantro you might want to ask them for some in a cup.
