Atmosphere: Entrance was pretty nice albeit kind of confusing to get to the main entrance we ended up in a side parking lot as its not clear which pathway gets you to the main. Once inside we were greeted and direct to a side cocktail area with circulating canapes and flowing drinks. Afterwards we were directed to the main dining area which was immaculately set to the point of being intimidating I made sure to keep my elbows off the table. Bathrooms were very nice though the mens bathroom was a bit of a venture to find from the dining area. Overall its certainly got the stereotypical country club feel. Service: Very good - servers were all incredibly kind and attentive, I was certainly one of the more uncouth guests and I wasn't good at hiding how much I liked the canapes, the servers seemed to enjoy that and made sure to circle by me a bunch which I greatly appreciated. Only issue I had was a joke I made to I think the manager? not sure - where they brought out these absurdly tiny sundaes and I joked asking where the adult size was... Apparently jokes are not tolerated at the CCC - I was given the "you clearly don't belong here look" lol. Food: Best part were the canapes - specifically the cheese puffs, I woulda liked just a plate of those things. Drinks were pretty good too, house white was great and my gin and tonics were strong but not incapacitating strong. Salad was pretty mundane but my salmon was very good - filet was good as well. Had two options for rolls, one of which was a pretzel roll which I liked. Dessert as noted above was wayyyyyy too small it was like two bites of sundae but apparently we do not speak of this. Burnt, over seasoned meatballs, and a shrimp on a tortilla with an unrecognizable sauce. No serving spoons or tongs, so they have redefined "finger foods". But the worst was yet to come. Midway thru the evening they put out 3 pizzas. I have never seen any pizza this over cooked and burnt in my life. I just can't imagine any cook with any pride looking at this and believing it was guest worthy. The cook should be fired.

My employer held its Christmas party here, and the setting was fabulous for that. Our party of a hundred or so had plenty of room in the banquet hall next to the bar, which was well stocked and served. Food was served buffet style, and the quality was very good, especially the beef tenderloin. They cleared a spot in front of the DJ for dancing after dinner, and a splendid time was had by all.

The driving range was also pretty cheap for buckets of balls - it would be a fun afternoon to bring the dads for driving range, the kids for mini golf and the moms can eat food and hang or enjoy the range as well. The food looked good, but we did not partake - the drinks were decently well priced - a can of beer 3.50 - a sway was 6 bucks. They have free concerts every now and then at their art installation, which is pretty cool, I also think it's cool how they do 5 buck Mondays. The staff was nice enough, my only complaint is the grass was a little overgrown, so we got ate up with chiggers and skeeters.

It has a great history and tradition, dating all the way back to 1880 (1899 at present location), and it was even added to the National Register of Historic Places a quarter century ago. While it has been years since President William Howard Taft played at the Cincinnati Tennis Club (I bet he didn't chase down too many shots), the club is still a high-end and prestigious club. The CTC has 10 outdoor clay courts and is open April through October. The club offers lessons, leagues, a tune-up tournament for the Cincinnati Met, and other tennis activities (and a pro shop) for all ages, and it once hosted the pro tournament now known as the Western & Southern Financial Group Masters, but the Cincinnati Tennis Club is mostly associated these days with hosting the USTA National Father-Son Clay Court Championships. It's a really big event that takes place each year, bringing some of the best father and son talent from around the country all the way to Cincinnati since 1974. While the CTC has a nice reputation in town, it seems that being a member at the club is a status symbol more than anything else. The membership dues aren't cheap, and if you really want to work on your tennis game and get to play year-round, while also having access to things like a fitness center, swimming pool, and more, you would be better off at a place like Harper's Point, Queen City, or Five Seasons. Sure, the club is really nice and boasts a great history, but it's more for the country club crowd than it is for families and the everyday competitive and recreational players.

I'm a local wedding photographer, and I've shot several weddings at Ivy Hills Country Club. I like…read morethis venue, and I think they've always done a great job. I've also attended numerous social events at Ivy Hills - again, good food and great staff. I've had brides who had their ceremonies at Ivy Hills and others that have had church weddings elsewhere. Many brides get ready in the little white house that is near the club house. The house has a nice staircase for some bridal portraits. The windows are large - lots of light. Another plus for some photos. There are many photo opportunities elsewhere - on the course and around the house and clubhouse. The hole right by the clubhouse has the best sunset, too. There's a little pond there. The interior of Ivy Hills is very nice - and they can accommodate many group sizes. For one wedding, we did a Chinese tea ceremony, and that was held in a smaller, front room. They really can handle larger or more intimate receptions. The food at Ivy Hills has always been very good - and the service is always great! They've treated me equally well as a guest or as a vendor. I would definitely recommend checking out Ivy Hills for your wedding ceremony and/or reception - they do a fabulous job!
