The biggest issue for me was that my ear piercings had closed up overnight several night prior ; and I needed someone right away. I forgot who I piercer was but he did not go my piercing correctly I can't even get my nose ring in and I've had it for 13 months now..... when I got my piercing done it took him 5-6 minutes to actually get the ring in my nose and it was painful... Yesterday I came for the Friday the 13th event for the $31 tattoo. I came with my mother Yolanda and older sister Da'naja and waited 5 hours for my turn to get my tattoos, made a donation, and was even ready to give a large tip since they were very busy. However when it was my turn they asked for the ID of me and my mom which we gave to them ( there was also a sign posted saying that ID was needed) however we have different last names and our addresses are not up to date. They then said that they needed a birth certificate to prove that she's my mother which we did not have on us. There was also not a sign posted saying that a birth certificate was even needed, as well as nothing on their website. A lady there said that they could not give me a tattoo or they could risk going out of business. A little bit later a girl that appeared years younger than me ( I am 17 by the way) and of a fairer complexion than me was called for her tattoo and not only did they not even ask for her ID, they did not ask for a birth certificate either. My mother said something about this and the lady who had said that she could go out of business made a comment saying that "we can't trust everybody". I'm not quite sure what the difference is in the level of trust between me and the other girl but that was not fair whatsoever since I waited ALL DAY! I am very upset and wish that I was able to get serviced as well and treated equally as the other young girl. And if an ID and birth certificate is needed then it should go for everyone and not just certain people. read more

I HAD THE WORST EXPERIENCE HERE! I went in for a nose piercing and the guy that worked there told me he was the owner son. This guy was so RUDE, DISRESPECTFUL, and UNPROFESSIONAL. DO NOT GET A PIERCING HERE. He pierced my nose on Saturday, I came back Monday and told him the ring sunk completely in my nose. He looked at it and said I have never seen anything like that before. The options he gave me was to take it out or replace it with a ring that was even smaller than the one I already had. When I asked for a refund, he said "read the sign, we do not give refunds stupid". I asked him is this the way you talk to customers, he said "I DONT CARE THAT YOU ARE A CUSTOMER, PLEASE LEAVE OUT MY SHOP NOW". I was in so much pain. The ring started sinking in my nose on Saturday but because I don't know anything about nose piercings, I thought it was normal. I drove 30 minutes to another place. I went to a body piercing shop only to discover he did my piercing completely wrong and gave me all the wrong information. 1. he gave me a one size fits all ring. 2. he put in a cork screw ring in my nose. 3. the ring was too small and should have been bigger and longer due to the thickness of my nose. 4. he pierced my nose straight up and down, not at an angle. 5. he told me my nose would heal completely in 4-6 weeks (Its takes 4-6 months). 6. he did not give me any information on how to take care of the piercing. I WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN NOR WILL I RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE. read more

If you're looking for a piercing shop, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. I have eleven piercings and none of those even compare to how bad my experience was here. I hate calling out specific people, but I think this is important. My piercer was Todd and I got my nostril done. My partner got her septum done first. He did not wash his hands before he started prepping the area (putting down the sterile sheet on the tray, getting out the jewelry and needle, etc.). I had just watched him play on his phone and run his hands through his hair and now he's touching all of this stuff. I let it go and didn't say anything. He eventually put on gloves. The rest of her piercing went fine, and now it was my turn. He washed his hands this time! Prepped the area, put on gloves, and got to business. We decided on a placement and he put the needle in. Things went fine. Here's where things got shitty: I asked to have a small hoop put in. There was some struggle, I figured he was just trying to bend it so it would screw in easier. But things started to hurt. Really bad. I had tears streaming down my face. I have a high pain tolerance, so this was weird. This went on for about five minutes until I finally asked what he was doing, because he literally was not explaining anything that he was doing. (Most, if not all, of the piercers I have been to before will tell you exactly what they're doing, right down to them saying they're throwing the needle in the sharps container.) His reply was, "picking your nose." I waited for an actual response, and got nothing. I asked him again. He said that the hoop didn't want to go through the hole, so he was trying to push it through. For five minutes. With tears streaming down my face. He was trying to stick in jewelry that was clearly too big for the hole he had just created. At some point, as a professional, wouldn't you stop to ask if the person was okay, or if they wanted to switch to using different jewelry that would be easier to insert? I was in so much pain that I asked to switch to different jewelry. He ignored me and kept trying to push it through. This time, I TOLD him to switch the jewelry. He didn't show me the jewelry he was putting in, he just stuck it in there. I looked and it was horrid. A huge silver ball on my nostril with a post that was clearly not made for a nostril. I told him to change it. His gloves were off at this point because he thought we were done. He pulled out another post from the cabinet, bare-handed, and showed it to me. He put his gloves on, I figured he would wash the new post, but never did. This post slid in like a hot knife into butter, and we were finally done. Wish I could give zero stars!!! Do not go here for a piercing, I repeat do not go here for a piercing!!!! I have tons of piercings, I suggested two shops to my boyfriend to get his nose piercing done at, neither of the shops I recommended were open so he ended up here. The piercer "Gentle Jay" placed the piercing at the very end of his nose even I know that is incorrect, placement is everything. Secondly, the stud he chose (the tiniest nose ring ever, chosen by the piercer) was too small for my boyfriend, he woke up the next day and the piercing had completely sunken into his nose and was encrusted with blood. My boyfriend told me that Gentle Jay told him this could happen, and if it did to put a cotton ball in his nose....WTF!!! This is not normal, piercings sink in because improper jewelry is used, the post wasn't big enough to allow room for swelling. Needless to say the next day I took my boyfriend to the shop I had suggested in the first place and they said exactly what I stated above, they said the placement was incorrect and that even if it healed the piercing would never lay nicely on his nose. They also stated that the jewelry chosen by the piercer was too small. We will never be back and will definitely let all our friends know to stay away from this shop. Honestly feel like going in and asking for a refund since my boyfriend didn't even have the piercing for a full 24 hours and the other shop suggested taking it out because of improper placement, incorrect jewelry and risk of infection.
