Love their dog friendly patio! Brought our pup this summer and enjoyed some ciders. The ciders is tucked away so it's not too hectic for your dogs. Plenty of seating for you and your pups to hang out.

Great cider spot, cool warehouse vibes. Super chill ambiance. Lots of options on tap including nonalcoholic stuff.

Had an opportunity to visit Lost Boy twice now to attend their line dancing night! The brewery has seating both inside and outside the building and offers chips as snacks to buy with their ciders and ales. As someone who does not drink Ale, my guests complimented their offerings and were happy with their drinks! They do not offer food; however, usually have a food truck available.

This was such a great find! We love breweries, but this was our first cider experience. It was busy and there was a party...but the two bartenders were so quick, friendly and knowledgeable! We had the flights. My husband grabbed one of their popular flights (the pickle was his favorite!) and I created my own. I had pumpkin (the surprise favorite!) wingman (yum!) Piquete (a little too red wine-ish for me) and endless summer (wanted to love this one but turned out to be my least favorite!) So happy we found this place, it reminded me of our favorite brewery back home - laid back and a very chill vibe.

I normally like cider, so we tried out this place. - drinks: were 3 stars. We did not like any of the 4 on the flights and we didn't even finish 2 of the 4 drinks and these were their exclusives. - interior is very straightforward, nothing fancy, tall tables and you can see the barrels and some part of the cidery - Food truck is available outside should you need food - 1 rather small tv for that space if you wanted to watch something Unfortunately, I didn't like this place much.

Tasty cider!

Hidden gem for sure! Saw then at the Old Town Alexandria farmers market and wanted to visit their spot. Bartender was super friendly and gave us the low down on all the ciders. Resonably priced and the ciders were really good - lots of options. They even have plain cider for kiddos or those who want an NA option.

For a gluten free pal (and for others, too) - this place is perfection. I love the selections of ciders that I can choose from, being GF!! The ambiance is so cute - it's quirky, inclusive, and is a large space with a lot of seating. There's also a lot of parking on site and in the area. I actually came here as they were hosting a cookie decorating event in partnership with another business, and my friend and I had a blast, and enjoyed the space, the cider, and the service. I can't wait to return and try more cider!

I'm almost never in Alexandria, but I'd come back here! An old friend who lives in the area suggested this place for a meetup and it was a good spot. The space is welcoming, with lots of tables both inside and outside. My friend recommended it because it is a place that is both kid and dog friendly; I saw several folks with dogs or small children there (I brought my two kids) There is an extensive selection of ciders. On the whole, they lean towards dry (which I like), but I saw they have some sweet ice ciders too. You can get a full pour or, if you're indecisive like me, get a flight. They have some ready flights or you can design your own. Prices are decent and the service is friendly. I appreciated my one bartender's patience in answering my questions. Very little food on site, but they usually have a food truck rotation - there was a place there when I went. Overall, not bad.

I don't know much about cider but still found Lost Boy Cider to be an awesome night out. I had my dog with me and the ladies behind the bar were so welcoming to me and my pup. I did a flight which I recommend because there are a million different ciders on the menu. I would look come back next time i am in the area.

This was my first visit to Lost Boy Cider. Lost Boy Cider was hosting a night market with a permanent jewelry bar, tattoos, tarot reading and vintage clothing. There were plenty of people there checking the event out. They brew their own ciders and have plenty to choose from. There were only two people behind the bar so it took a little bit to get the drinks. I kind of wished they had a food truck there. I was surprised by the number of people who were waiting to get their piercings. This took the longest amount of time. There are plenty of events happening here so I would keep checking their social media to find an event that works for you.

Flight fun!

What an unexpected surprise! They brew their own ciders and what unique flavors too! Not your typical sugary ciders. In fact their Bloody Mary cider was as tasty as the tomato versions I have had. Service was quick and they did a great job of explaining things. They have ample seating and a funky brewery feel. Definitely try the flights if you aren't sure about what you want or are just curious about their many different options.

We came here on a day that they had a dog day event. The ciders and frozen drinks are pretty good. They had some good seating inside as well as some picnic tables outside for overflow. The service here was great for what they had during the event but still had a decent line due to having a dog event. Still enjoyable!

Great spot. Went here with some friends after doing some candle making nearby. Plenty of parking on site and on the street nearby. I got a flight plus a 2oz pour. There was a food truck on site as the place doesn't really sell food. Go to the bar to order your drinks, grab a table inside or out, drink up and have fun.

Get yourself some flights!

Do you allow dogs inside?

Yes, and I've seen multiple dogs there each of the several times I've visited, so I think it's pretty common for people to bring their dogs along.

They had a great selection of apples which were very reachable due to the apple catchers they provided. The apples were in great condition and delicious. The orchard was very organized and had multiple rows for each type of apples. The orchard offered Pink Lady, Fuji, Joy, Shizuika, Galrina, Wine Crispy, Enterprise, Granny Smith and Florina Querina apples. The offered 3 different sizes of bags for apple picking that ranged from small to large. They also had cider which was delicious. They also offered cider cocktails which were very flavorful. The orchard was a short distance from Gaithersburg, and it was right next to Butlers Orchard. They had typical grass/dirt parking. The orchard employees were very friendly and helpful. They were very knowledgeable about the apples and cider. The ambiance was great as the grounds were full of colorful trees and leaves. It was great fall day. I cannot wait to visit again next year. Their garden outside was done up with amazing seasonal florals and there was plenty of seating both inside and outside on a Saturday afternoon. I ordered a cider flight followed by a Pina colada wine drink and liked both. They had a Mexican food truck onsite that we also greatly enjoyed. They had self serve water stations both inside and out.The only reason this is not a 5 star review is because service was lacking. We received rather rude service from one of the bartenders when ordering drinks and found it challenging to determine what to do with our empty glasses, as no one was coming around to service tables and there was no drop bin either inside or out. Overall, a cute spot that I would return to for good cider.

When we went, there was a pizza food truck which made fresh woodfire pizza which tasted great!

First time at Cider Lab…read more It was a warm Saturday afternoon. As I entered - I noted it was rather warm inside. To warm. I made a comment about it to the lady who was taking my order. She acknowledged it was warm - but that was about it. It was nicer outside temp wise - but at this time of the year - the pollen levels are now in the high range - I did not want to sit outside and inhale more pollen. And it's to warm inside. I ordered a tasting flight of 5 ciders. They ciders are served in cool looking test tubes - from a "Lab," - hence the name of the place. My cider flight included (with associated Untappd rankings): Green Apple (4 stars) Blueberry Peach Jerk'm (4 stars) Elderberry Cider (4 stars) Passionate Perry (2.75 stars) Blackberry Jerk'm (1.75 stars) I really enjoyed the first three in the list - the Passionate Perry just did not resonate with my taste buds - and the Blackberry Jerk'm was bordering on a cough syrup taste. I did not drink all of my tasting flight - as it was to warm inside for me - so I really could not enjoy them the way I wanted to. Service was good. Paid with Apple Pay. Hope to come back some day when the AC is working! #CiderLab
