    four glasses of cider

We came here on my birthday after seeing this new location come to downtown Fredericksburg. It's a cute little bar tucked away and has a beautiful outdoor patio area in the back. We tried several of their ciders and also took some cans home. For the price of the flight, it was definitely worth it. We enjoyed trying what they had and the staff was very friendly.

Yummy flights and a bit loud inside but the back was perfect. Closed in area to have a drink and just relax. So happy to have found this place.

My favorite place to grab a drink. Not to mention the trivia every Wednesday. The cider is always fun but consistent.

Growing up in a h hospitality hom, i can easily say the quality is there. Everything is made from scratch. Our server was so sweet and kind. Helpful with the choices & decisions at crunch time. I got the beer battered fish (for 18, I would have liked 2 pieces of fish) bbu t the entire fillet was crispy and i had to let out cool down when th get brought it out. My boyfriend had the Shepards pie. (He is never very responsive with food but he raved about this to the point that we asked to talk to the kitchen.) It was hearty and flavorful. Really yummy beef gravy on top. l love Brussel sprouts and these had sweet Thai chili sauce and bacon bits (a house made recipe). I could have made that my entire meal. The brownie sundae was super moist as well. During the meal, it was a really good portion amount (at first I thought it was small) but it was spot on. If there was a downside I'd say the alcohol was a little more expensive then I would have expected, but that would be about it. I definitly feel like we've found a hidden gem. If you want high quality Irish comfort food. This is definitly the best one I've ever found. I wish I had taken more pictures but it was so good, by the time we thought about posting this review,, we had eaten most of it already.

Wow, what a quaint British pub in the middle of Vienna. Parking is a little tight for this area,…read morebut you can definitely find some spots in the back on a weekday. I ended up biking and there's a bike stand really close by. My friend was craving fish and chips, so we ventured out this way. Because we came on a Thursday they had a deal going where if you ordered a pie, you could get a beer for free. Of course I had to partake, so I ordered the special pie, which was a masala, chicken, curry pie, and it was quite good. A bit small for the price point but with the beer included totally worth it also because their fries are so good. I could demolish over a pound of those fries. They were thick potato and maybe the extra added bonus of having to use a glass ketchup bottle added to it. My friend and I were also taught how to properly hit the ketchup bottle to get the ketchup out by the bartender. You find the 57 on the bottle at an angle and bump you palm there that instead of hitting the bottom and hoping and praying that ketchup comes out. It actually worked or at least it was more efficient than trying to hit the bottom of the bottle upside down. I had never had a hand pumped beer before, but it was quite good. They are a warm beer rotating and it was quite good, it especially paired well with the pie or fish and chips.

My husband is a die-had Arsenal fan and was overjoyed by the chaotic bar scene he encountered as soon as he entered. The City + Arsenal game had the entire bar packed with fans from both sides pulling up random seats wherever there was a free space. We came a bit late into the game but found a seat in a quieter area of the restaurant that still had good television access. With the dreary rain outside, it felt like we had settled right in a proper British pub! Food wise: - For my husband: Wings were generous, grilled, and delicious with interesting flavors - For me: Fish and chips were light, flakey, and came with some of the best house cut fries I've ever had. - For the kiddos: Although they had a kids menu, my daughters decided to split some pancakes (basically crepes with raspberries and cream sauce, scrambled eggs, bacon, and potatoes. Portions are more than generous and the managers were bustling around, talking shop, and thanking everyone who walked through their door. We will definitely be back!

To start we got the carnitas nachos which were a 6/10 and a little on the blander side. The majority of us ordered burgers and I also opted to try their New England Clam Chowder. My soup was quite delicious and so was my burger Animal Burger. It was juicy, flavorful and definitely a good order. Everyone else agreed that their burgers (Savannah Burger & Burger Royale) were very enjoyable. The regular fries were fine, nothing particularly special but still tasty. The sweet potato fries were on the colder and soggier side unfortunately; however, that is a typical gamble of ordering those fries. My brother said that the hot honey wings were alright however he said he wished he got a burger looking back as they seemed to do a good job with that. Ultimately Harry's Alehouse is a nice family-friendly spot with a wide selection of menu items that should accommodate even the most picky eaters. Their burgers were very enjoyable and the service was great. Additionally, the decor featuring lots of dog pictures was very cute. We will definitely be coming back to try more menu items in the future.

I had many great experiences at this location and the rt 3 location. Something changed. The fries were different, used to be hand cut and now it's frozen cruise ship fries. The west coast burger had none of the sauce. My partner got a burger royale and both burgers tasted the same. Just a mid average burger that ihop can make. Was a very disappointing visit compared to what I remembered. Eats is much better if you're downtown and even Freddy's would have been a better choice.
