We had a really good experience at Lost Grove Brewing in Hyde Park! We ordered the bao buns, Thai bowl, and a burger, and everything was really good. We also tried the sake margarita, which was pretty good and definitely something different. The atmosphere was great, the service was friendly and attentive, and the prices were very reasonable. I love this neighborhood! We stumbled upon this place while walking around Hyde park. It has a gorgeous outdoor patio with tons of seating and a bar to sit at and look out around the neighborhood. The servers were super friendly, and they were also super busy. We got the bao buns which were delicious, however both of us were wanting some sort of sauce to accompany them - maybe a sweet chili sauce? They were delicious and flavorful but a little bit dry. 4/25/26- 5* First time here and thought there was only minimal seating in the front and didn't realize there was a whole back side to it and it was huge! Wasn't expecting that when they told us to walk to the back and find seating. Very cool spot, and with how packed it was still had great service! There was 5 of us and we all got different drinks. I got the robot samurai, and it was good enough to get twice I was pretty happy with it. For food there was the Bao Buns and these were pretty great! Buddy ordered chicken and accidentally got served the pork belly but he was glad he got to try the two because he said the pork was the better taste of the two. They did still bring him the chicken ones. I ended up getting the Korean bbq wings and buddy got dry rub. Both wings were really good! No complaints there. Will be back to bring my family. read more

just came here for the first time and I love it! Excellent vegetarian and vegan options, as tofu can be added to any salad, main, or sandwich (which is huge!). Super friendly staff and good drinks too. My only wish would be a bigger tofu portion - for $6 to add it, i'd like to get a few more grams of protein in! read more

The food here was really good. We ordered the soy glazed brussel sprouts. I think it would taste better with a balsamic glaze rather than the kewpie, but it was still very good. My friend had the grilled chicken sando. He ate all of it and said it was really good. I ordered the peanut noodles, $15, and added on friend chicken, $6. Came here on a Friday mid-morning and we were immediately greeted and guided to where we could sit. I loved the ambiance and friendliness. We sat in the back by the large windows. They had street bike racing on the TV's (extraaa points from me because who cares about football or baseball, honestly lol). It was a perfect day outside, so the sunshine shinning in was perfect. Olivia was our waitress and couldn't have been happier. She made our experience exceptional from start to finish. I'm considerably older than her, but immediately felt like "besties." She made great recommendations with food and beer. I will request her section every time I come here. I asked her opinion when ordering and she said the Bahn Mi and Brussel Sprouts were her go to, so naturally I went with her suggestion. The gentleman I came with couldn't decide between two things, so I said go with what she suggests and he did. The dry rub wings were spectacular and the tots were good too, but in my opinion the sprouts were the best!!! I can't wait to come back here in the near future and see my Aries "bestie" lol. However, Yelp moderators informed me that they removed my review because they didn't think it was for the right Lost Grove location. Turns out they were right. I realize that my review was for the location on La Pointe in Boise. Our experience was at the Hyde Park location on 13th St in Boise. So, here is my review: We came here yesterday (Tuesday) for the first time. We were checking out Hyde Park. We're recent transplants to the greater Boise area. It was raining, so we sat indoors. In retrospect, the only way to go here is the outdoor seating. Indoors, it is small and stark. Plain tables, minimal decor, not much ambience. I had the First Sight IPA, citrusy and flavorful. I enjoyed it. My wife had the burger. She asked for no cheese, but it came with just a bun and patty. No lettuce, tomato, or onion. I had the Original grilled chicken sandwich. It had a nice aioli and was on a brioche bun, but nothing else on it and a rather small sandwich. Both came with a small order of fries. I liked the fries. They were crispy. However, for the money ($15) I would have liked lettuce, tomato, and onion on both the burger and sandwich, and a maybe some cheese on mine. I also would have liked more fries, though I certainly didn't need them :-) Our young female server was nice and did a great job. Again, sitting outside on the patio on a nice day would make the Lost Grove experience better. If we come again, I would try one of their bowls or salads. read more

Each of us had a beer and both were very good. For lunch we shared an order of dry rub wings, an order of tots and a Korean BBQ chicken bowl. Went for a walk looking for some lunch on a nice sunny afternoon. This place looked like the spot for me -- outdoor seating and brews. My server gave me the option to find a seat which was nice because I was doing some remote work from my laptop, and found this little high bar top that secluded me from others. I ordered the dry rub wings and also requested a side of bbq sauce. I absolutely loved the rub! Many customers also complimented my plate saying they'll order that. This place has very good beer in a very good setting. On my 1-10 scale of how traditional to experimental they are...I'd say they are at about a 7. I liked everything I had on tap, but I especially liked the lagers. The outdoor seating and dog friendliness were great, just as you'd expect in good brewery ambiance. My only quibble is with the process...they really seem to not want you to come up to the bar to get samples. So you have to sit down, wait for the server, order a taste, the server then goes to the bar and gets 0.5oz of beer for you while you wait again, then if you don't like it and want to try something else, the process repeats itself. Pretty inefficient and obnoxious. The people working the bar should just give you a damn sample rather than shaming you about your seating! read more

Hoping for Better from a Company I Admire I've long admired Lost Grove Brewing--not just for the great beer and community presence, but for your B Corp Certification and commitment to sustainability and social responsibility. That's why I was genuinely excited to reach out about potential employment opportunities this spring. Unfortunately, my experience trying to connect with your team has been really discouraging. After receiving an initial (and brief) response, I followed up multiple times via email throughout April and May and also made a few phone calls, including one on May 27. I was told a manager would be in touch, but I never received a follow-up. I understand things can get busy, especially in hospitality, but being completely ignored after multiple respectful attempts to connect feels disappointing--especially from a company that prides itself on its values and community engagement. I'm still holding out hope that this isn't reflective of how you treat your team members or applicants. I'd love the chance to speak with someone, even if just for closure. If nothing else, I hope this feedback is taken as a gentle reminder that clear communication goes a long way--especially in a world where kindness and professionalism are more important than ever. None of the 3 dishes were great- the bahn mi sandwich was mostly fat, not meat, did not taste like a bahn mi. After a hike at Camels Back Park, my wife and I were thirsty and hungry so we decided on Lost Grove Brewing. It's always busy on the weekend, so we didn't anticipate getting a spot on the outdoor patio. We walked to the back and went to sit at the bar. As we were reading the brew offerings, the bartender said find a seat, and a server will come take your order. I found that odd since the bar area was empty and we like to sit at the bar top. Anyways, we grabbed a table and took a seat. When the server approached, I asked if they had any ciders on tap, she said yes, I asked the flavor, she said dry cider. I asked again what flavor and she said "dry". I guess I should've assumed it was apple, but most places have a variety of fruit ciders. We both ordered the cider, then our food. We ordered the Banh Mi and Chicken Sando. It took about 30 mins to get our cold food. The pork belly in the Banh Mi was so salty (it felt like my tongue shrunk) and chewy as smoked jerky. The Chicken Sando was better, however, neither of us could choke down the meal. We left half our meal on the plate, it was so bad. We both left bummed and disappointed in Lost Grove Brewing because its such a cool spot and atmosphere. read more

I am now done with Lost Grove. I have tried to embrace this new neighborhood establishment and their creative menu but the last two times I have been there, the food is just not good. Sent two orders of edamame back because they were not cooked, then gave up and didn't eat them. Server didn't notice or care that much. This visit, the Peanut Noodle Bowl was so gooey and oily I couldn't eat more than two bites. When I told the server it really wasn't good and I couldn't eat it she pretty much told me I should have ordered something different and still charged me for it. The beer isn't served very cold and on hot days, just doesn't go down well, chilled glasses would be a step up. The bao buns are a fun idea, but pretty much flavorless. I so wished that the new Lost Grove could have been my new neighborhood go to, but it is not. read more
