(5) I ordered the Ghost Porter ($6/ Free under the BOGO) and the hubs got the $10 Yersinia Barrel Aged imperial Stout . (4) Our 2nd Idaho stop needed a little something in the bellies. We split the $12 beef sandwich (comes with chips) & each got one beer. This location is get the lowest priced drink free, something to keep in mind if you're looking for a bargain. This is a great place to stop in to. The wait staff was attentive and kind. It's a dog friendly patio and has adequate shade for your dog to stay in. They do have flights of beer which is always a great way to sample a few beers! The food has great flavor and big portions. The Bahn Mi was recommended by the waitstaff and the way he didn't hesitate when we asked we knew we had to try and he was correct, it's phenomenal!!! The sour beer they have on draft right now isn't sour at all, that is the only thing I did not care for. It didn't have any tartness at all. The Korean BBQ poutine was an absolute delight! Such amazing flavors on top of very crispy tots! It's such a big portion I had to take half of it home! Highly recommend both meal choices! Amazing venue with great service! Visited with the family after a walk on the Greenbelt. The beer was delicious as always and the food was so good! Great stop to grab some beer and a bite in Boise. We came into town after a long drive and needed a place to stretch our legs. This was a great stop for our family as they had room for our toddler to run around and they had plenty of games. Friendly staff too. We ordered a couple of beers and a pizza to share. The food came out pretty quickly and was delicious! Great pizza, nice and light crust so it is easy to eat. We got a 1/2 Julius and 1/2 Spicy Boi pizza and both were really good. The Spicy boi had a great amount of kick, not too greasy. The Julius was pretty rich between the carmelized onions, bacon and caesar dressing. Beers we quite good too, some fun with the names. First time at this brewery. I'd definitely give it a 3.5 or higher. The pizza wasn't bad. Had some parts of the pizza that were thicker than the rest. It was baked really well. The undercarriage was a good color. Loved all the toppings that I chose. The salad was just mediocre. It had some bad lettuce with the fresh lettuce. Happens. Even though it had salad dressing on it, all I could think of was that it tasted like dirt. They only have canned soda. Which is fine. Three/four flavors. The ambiance in the place is really cool. The tables are made for small people I think. Fit me perfect, I'm only 5'3". My friend was 6'2" and his legs were all up on my space. And it seemed narrow. Maybe it's just me. I'm not sure. I definitely want to go back and get another pizza. Also, they had a live band playing. That was awesome. A hhuuggeeee negative about this place is parking. It is in the college dorm area or Ann Morrison. Don't expect to have easy access to parking or to find a spot quickly. Have to get lucky. read more

Skip this one. Go to the Hyde park location. Beer is awful service is worse...food: go elsewhere. I don't want to complain more as I want them to improve but there's more options in town. Back in Boise on business and checking out LGB for brewery #269! LGB is in a row of businesses with not great parking but we got lucky and snagged a spot right in front. I'll bet this place gets hopping later in the day. Not a lot of people here at 1pm on a Thursday. Plenty of tables and if you don't want pizza or sandwiches, other places nearby to grab a bite. SWPFTD is traveling with me this weekend and she found a really nice rye amber ale, the Margot Rye. Great amber with a little rye spice to it. Razzpotamus was a really nice raspberry sour. Not overly sour at all and really nice flavor. I also noticed they have a Hibiscopotamus ale. There seems to be a bit of a hippopotamus theme going. I may try this one just to be thorough. Ghost Town Porter is flavored with hazelnut and coffee. This was quite good. Morning in the Mountains is an imperial breakfast stout aged in bourbon barrels. I really liked this one. Strong flavors of maple syrup with bourbon but not overpowering oaky flavor. Yersinia is a bourbon barrel aged imperial stout with vanilla and cocoa nibs. This one I didn't love quite as much. It just wasn't as smooth as the Morning in the Mountains. Funny but SWPFTD thought this one was sweeter on the tongue than the Morning in the Mountains while I thought the opposite. I'm right of course but don't tell her I said that... We had sandwiches which were excellent. I went with The Beef, which is here in case you were wondering where the beef is. SWPFTD went with The Tony. Both were really good. LGB is well worth a stop. I would definitely come back here. Lost Grove is a Boise brewery I got the opportunity to try a while back. Had one of their beers, The Robot Monster Hazy IPA. This is an Imperial New England IPA with notes of citrus (lemon was very distinctive), piney and hoppiness. The IPA was pretty solid. Since Covid hit New England IPA's is an IPA style that has landed in droves at breweries in which some are uninspired and some are very good. Experience usually tells me that the best New England IPA'S come from the east coast but it's not a given that you can't get a good one elsewhere. The Robot Monster falls in the middle. It has TLC when it was made which makes it more formidable than some. read more

I was in town visiting the family so I naturally offered to run to the grocery store to pick up some dinner items so I could get a quick bite to eat and escape some of the madness. I was craving some pizza and was excited to see that this place had an extensive beer menu and pizza list. I went with the Idaho pizza which included chili oil, pepper, chorizo and smashed potato. I usually go with pepperoni but wanted something a little different. I opted for the hazy IPA because that is my go to. The pizza was so much better than I could have imagined for a single slice. It was charred perfectly and held up great with all the toppings. Easy five stars for the pizza, beer, and the service. Another great touch was the artisan vending machine in the corner. There were local pieces including key chains, earrings and coasters. I went with an emergency wine opener key chain because I am always finding myself without a wine key. Great deal and great idea! May have to make another grocery store run tomorrow and grab another slice! read more

Food Service Ambience were all fantastic. A fun bar very close to Boise State with really good beers on tap and a fine menu. I had an Italian meat sandwich, which was excellently washed down with a few of their beers. Went home with a six pack just because I liked the beer so much. read more

Cool little place. Tucked away near some off-campus housing near the Boise Bicycle Project. We wouldn't have stopped by had it not been for an event that BBP hosted, called the As-Is bicycle sale. Nice way to garner some business for this brewery. Stopped in to have a beer after browsing and there's a mellow vibe. I'm not much of a beer drinker, so the nice guy at the counter, suggested I try the Teddy Bear Picnic. It was tasty and had a good flavor, not too hoppy or wheat tasting. I liked it! They have a little outdoor patio area as well as indoor seating. I would go back the next time we're out there. read more

On my journey to find the best brewery in the Treasure Valley, this one currently fits into my top 3, after Payette Brewery and Twisted District. My husband tried 3 of their beers and was a fan of the Robot Feelings IPA. I had the High Point Cider which had a really nice ginger flavor. We also ordered the Mushroom Pizza (I don't remember the actual name) but it was AMAZING. They have a large 18 inch pizza or a personal pizza. Splitting the personal pizza was the perfect size for my husband and I. The place has a very relaxed atmosphere and wasn't too busy for a Saturday afternoon. They have darts in a back room plus a few different board games to grab. My only complaints, which aren't even enough to not give it 5 stars: 1. The parking situation is not great. There's about 5 restaurants/businesses all right next to each other with a bunch of apartments nearby. The brewery wasn't very full, but we had to park at the park and walk over. It's a bummer that there isn't a set parking lot for the businesses. I can imagine during the summer and when it gets warmer you would have to just know ahead of time that you have to park a ways away. 2. One of the girls seemed to be a little bit newer and my husband made the comment that the beers she poured had quite a bit of foam. Just something to be aware of. Doesn't seem like they care at all. Place was empty on a Saturday afternoon and maybe that should've told us something. We ordered a craft beer from the menu and our server brought a beer that was 3/4 full and said that the keg ran out. She charged us full price for a partial beer. There were a couple of beers on the menu that were not available. The food is nothing special and also had no effort put into it when they moved it from the freezer to the microwave. Hey pretty cool little place! You have a choice to sit inside or outside and we sat outside since they had a live band. What a find!! Loved the music. The pizza was so good but we had to fight with the flies!!! Not cool maybe they can put up some fly traps for the outside food guests? The service was great you just order at the counter and they give you a number stand for your table. Not too long of a wait. I'm so glad a brewery has food!!! Good addition. When people ask me where the best pizza in Boise is, I'm not going to name a pizzeria or an Italian restaurant--I'm going to name Lost Grove. Their pizza is amazing. It has a thin crust cooked perfectly with a lightly blistered edge and just enough chew. They have lovely toppings for both meat eaters and vegetarians. Definitely check out the mushrooms, because they are an umami bomb. The basil is a beautiful, herbaceous compliment to their tomato sauce as well. The prices here are reasonable given the size of the slices. Mine have always come out fast and the servers are friendly. You order at the counter and then a server brings your food out when it's ready. I like the relaxed vibe here. They have a lovely patio which is fun a fun place to hang out in the summer. I can't say much about the beer selection but they offer kombucha on tap which is delicious and they have cider and some sodas as well. I never thought I'd go to a brewery just for the food but try it: you won't be disappointed! read more

Wow! Talk about terrific pizza...and beer! There was a style of beer for everybody in our group of ten (10); all said their order was excellent. The thing that kills me about this place is that the pizza is good enough to stand on its own. I mean, it was that good! Throw in a brewery, and one cannot lose. It reminds me of Booze Brothers in Vista, California. They do have two (2) dart boards. I was itching to play, but my nephew-in-law brought a board game called Code Names. This is a hip spot to be! I have been here a few times with co-workers, friends and even Boise Young Professional had a night here. Large open space with several seating options (high tables, low tables, bar, and booths). The beer is fine but they never have a beer that I would love (hefs) but I guess that is a plus for me so I don't get too crazy but just enough crazy. If it is busy, plan to wait a bit for a beer. Every time I have been here there is only one person pouring. Make sure to bring patience and chillness. Great place! read more

Beers and pies were very good. Although parking is a little tight, we only had a short walk to get into the place.

We stopped in for lunch. The menu is very pizza-focused, with a couple salads and a meatball side, but they do these very well. The pepperoni slice was hot and cheesy with a crisp/chewy crust, the (6!) meatballs were hit and flavorful with lots of cheese and a red pasta sauce, and hey came with great focaccia bread. The beers were varied and tasty: the rye amber and the coffee-hazelnut porter were excellent and I wished for seconds! read more

We came on a Thursday night after picking up a friend from the airport. We placed our order at around 7:30. Our pizza then took an hour and 20 minutes to come out. I understand it was a busy night, but we were given no indication when we placed our order that there might be a long wait.
