Cozy cabin vibes! Food: 3.5/5. We started with the poutine, which was just ok. Part of it were cold, which was odd. I had the huckleberry burger, which was decent. I love huckleberry flavor, but I felt it was lacking. I have read several reviews that said the fries are amazing, but I thought they were just ok. They are thin and crunchy and just not my favorite. My husband got the French dip special. That was AMAZING and unfortunate that it is not on the main menu. Service: 5/5. Our waitress was fantastic! We got seated right away, although it was very busy. Atmosphere: 4/5. I love the location right at the base of Bogus and the vibe is cozy cabin, perfect for a winter date night! We sat at the fireplace, which adds to the ambiance and was delightful! One downside is that there was no parking when we went so we had to park on the street. Kid friendly: 4/5. There were SO many kids when we went and there are great menu items for kids like fries, burgers, and pasta.

We are from Arkansas and this is our second time eating here. We love the food and local brews! It's such a cool place. Our server was awesome!

My favorite place in Boise! Delicious sandwiches and more, go on a Friday for the impeccable clam chowder Ski lodge feel, with a round fireplace in the center of the dining room for cold days. Craft beer selection is great, recommend the Spoon Tongue. Excellent happy hour menu too, check them out!

Good variety on the menu, reasonable prices, reliable service, and good atmosphere. Try the fish sandwich and steak salad.

She managed this big group without delay and with a positive attitude. Any appetizers here are epic and worth every penny. I recommend the steak chip nachos and jumbo wings. Ranch is homemade and delicious. Entrees like the fish n chips were delicious. The drunkin dip was hearty and full of massive flavor. The craft beer here is fantastic. The number 1 flight is enormous with 10 glasses of samples. Yum! We loved it here, and Shelby did a great job caring for us. Great job 10 Barrel!

I visited 10 Barrel Brewing recently with my fiancé, and while there were some high points…read moreregarding the flavors and service, the experience was a bit of a mixed bag. To start, I tried the Pickletini. As a fan of pickle-forward drinks, I found it "not bad"--a solid choice if you enjoy that briny profile. My fiancé opted for the All Ways Down Double IPA flight. At 9% ABV, it was a heavy hitter, but he really enjoyed the intense hop aroma and flavor provided by the Cryo Hops. For my main, I ordered the TNT Sando (Tri-Tip with bacon jam and garlic aioli) on Gaston's grilled focaccia. I requested it without pickles, and it was excellent. I paired it with the Black Bean and Veggie soup, which was a standout--perfectly delicious with a nice "zing" to it. Unfortunately, the meal hit a significant snag with my fiancé's Fish & Chips. The beer and cornmeal tempura batter was extremely thick (nearly 3/4 of an inch in some spots) and the fish was overcooked. Additionally, the blue cheese dressing on his side salad was very runny and tasted off. It was disappointing enough that we had to send it back. We replaced it with The Spicy Italian pizza. This was a total 180--it arrived looking beautiful, and the combination of the meats, pepperoncinis, and hot honey was absolutely delicious. Our server, Casey P., was generally good and attentive, though we did have to wait to start our meal because we weren't initially provided with napkins or silverware. A minor note on the atmosphere: the table we were seated at had "gay" carved into the wood, which felt a bit out of place for the professional vibe of the rest of the establishment. Overall, the TNT Sando, the pizza, and the beers are worth coming back for, but the kitchen consistency on the fried items definitely needs some work.
