We came back to 10 barrel today after skipping it ever since the corporate hedge fund investor group merger takeover that caused the firing of very good people in the local area. We were very happy to see one familiar face that survived the takeover. We came in for happy hour and the ambience is generally the same brew pub style, good music playlist, people chatting, TVs on, as expected Of course, the beer quality seems to be about the same, however, I did try their fresh, hop, pale ale, and none of their normal staples. The restaurant was fairly slow when we ordered our food, so when it took quite some time to have the food delivered, it was kind of surprising. The wings tasted just fine and the cheese balls were pretty good. The best thing that 10-barrel has going for it, I would say, is their staff.... And did you know they have a five dollar martini happy hour that starts at 11 AM and goes till 5:30 PM....what? I can tell you that the real estate agents in their 60s certainly know that!

We visited 10 Barrel Brewing during a leisure/work trip to Boise and we are glad we stopped by (twice). Our first experience was great as we enjoyed some beers and brussel sprouts and our server chatted about all things Boise with us to our delight. We visited again with some colleagues and the burgers, pizza and salad lunch special, and nachos were all delicious. They were short-staffed and we came in after a few large groups when we visited this time. This lead to some delays with our food orders but the manager kindly paid for our first round of drinks. We were able to park on the street around the corner but there were also paid meters and a parking lot close by. Overall, we had a nice experience and will definitely be back the next time we are in the area.

On a weekday had a super chill feeling walking in, no waiting for a table. They have a pretty good $15 deal for a personal pizza and salad, with diverse options to choose from for your pizza. Overall was pretty enjoyable, and I feel like we got the best deal they have to offer.

This one will probably be super short. I wrote one for 10 Barrel a year ago, that's mainly why lol. Last year, friends and I did a performance on the main stage at Pride. We do this fitness class called, Pound Fit. For the past 3 years now, Pride has invited us to do a 30 min set on Sunday. Last year, afterwards, we went to 10 Barrel and had a fantastic experience. This year, after our set, we returned to this place. I rarely ever go downtown anymore. Too much construction these days for me lol. I'm a grumpy old man haha. I was very happy to go back here again tho. It's a restaurant that I would recommend to anyone who is either visiting or who has never been there. They are just so unbelievably nice at this place. Service is fantastic, wait time for food isn't bad at all. Keep in mind, we went around 12ish, like an hour after the pride parade. So it wasn't very busy. Not sure what wait times are like on busy days. I'm guessing it's the same. William was our waiter. High energy, very positive, efficient guy. Sense of humor as well. We were talking about Post Malone and i honestly love me some Posty haha! My buddy was saying he didn't like Postys vibrato and was trying to imitate it. William appears out of nowhere and basically killed the impression of Post haha! So he definitely earns some extra points for that. Great guy. Whoever runs this place, not sure if it's the same guy as last year, but they do a great job, they hire the best people. Prices are reasonable too. Plenty of crazy overpriced restaurants downtown...where the food is just kinda...bleh. At least 10 Barrels is good and you don't feel poor after you leave haha. Location is ideal, too. Close to everything. Tons of restaurants, bars, etc all over this area. It's across from Freak Alley, which is oddly a huge tourist attraction lol. It's cool tho, not gonna lie. Thanks for another nice experience, 10 Barrel. I'll definitely be back, if not sooner than later, than definitely next year after Pride. Thanks for reading, YelperBarrelers! Cheers!

Came here with a party of 10 on a Saturday night and it was pretty packed! The service was a bit slow, which is understandable because of the large crowd but the staff was friendly. That being said, there's a lot of indoor seating available. The bathrooms were also clean. Minors are welcome during all hours, so it's a family-friendly spot! I ordered the TNT Sando, which was great! It was savory and a bit sweet from the caramelized onions and bacon jam (which didn't overpower the other flavors). The fries were warm and crispy. All in all, a great location with good food and brews!

Five stars for outstanding service. This place is huge with enough sitting for a lot of people. TVs to watch the game and music in the background. Now the food. I had the Chicken sandwich Rooster on Fire. It was really good with not too much spice. The fries were very good as well but the sweet potato fries were outstanding and highly recommended. The salmon sando left much to be desired. I'd stick with the chicken upon my return. The Pub Beer was very good but the apocalypse is terrific. Give them both a try.

Excellent brew pub in downtown Boise. The place is decorated stylishly and the distillery is open to view. Very friendly staff, good drinks and large selection of delicious food. They offer lunch specials but no happy hour pricrs are moderate. I really enjoyed my visit. Parking is an issue.

Do they have lots of TVs for college football?

No, not that I recall. It's primarily set up like a warehouse style pub.

Is this a dog friendly establishment?

I saw a dog leashed to an outside table with its people.

If it wasn't obvious, I am usually partial to dark beers, but the red velvet cream ale was actually my favourite out of this bunch - it was really interesting and had a smooth flavour that I liked. I think the porter and stouts were also good beers, but they were all awfully hoppy for dark beers, which just isn't my thing - to be fair, the Black Cliffs advertised itself as hoppy and I was just curious to try it, the other two did not. I just like to try different things though, so I had a good experience even if the beers didn't hit quite like I had hoped.

A couple of my friends showed up first, got a great table outside and ordered a couple apps to get the party started. I showed up after goodies and drinks were ordered. We started off with some chips and salsa and pountine. The chips and salsa looked good but the pountine was definitely calling my name! I love me some potatoes and these potatoes looked like they were going to be right up my alley! I dished up a good portion before my friends got some. They were kind to let me plate first cause of my new kidney. I didn't want to be too greedy so the portion I got was a few bites. Those few bites got me hooked so it was a must to get another order started. While my order of pountine was being worked on, I tried the pretzel with cheese and the hummus plate. The pretzel was perfectly salted. The cheese sauce was the perfect addition to the soft pretzel. I took a good amount of the hummus and Greek salad. The pita that came with it was a great vessel for the hummus. It was crispy with a slight chew to it. The hummus was clean tasting and rich. The Greek salad was so fresh. All the components of the salad tasted like they were just picked from the garden. You literally can't get anymore farm to table than that! It was so fresh! The second order of pountine came out. Everything about this appetizer was delicious! I love soggy, softer fries and these fries were the business! The gravy and cheese were the highlight of the dish for me. You can never go wrong with potatoes, cheese and gravy! There was a good amount of meat on the pountine. It was so tender! You can tell it was cooked with a lot of love and time! I took the rest home and I plan on hiding my box in the back of my fridge so my daughter can't get to it! We ended our happy hour with the beignets. Each one of these goodies were covered in powered sugar. The caramel sauce that was paired with it was devine! In all honesty, as full as I was, I could have polished off an order myself! They were the perfect dessert to end this fabulous meal. Bittercreek has been on my to go list for a hot minute. I'm so happy we got to come here and celebrate my birthday. The food was marvelous. Our server did a fantastic job taking care of us! Our waters were always filled. Our cocktails were never dry. And our plates were always filled cause food was always ordered on time for us. Now, the food. My friend went for one of their signature burgers, which was seasoned simply so the beef really gets to shine. The only hiccup was that they were out of tomatoes, which is a non-negotiable topping for her, so keep that in mind if tomatoes are a must. I went a different route and ordered the beef focaccia. Uniquely layered ribeye and really good. We also shared a Greek salad that was simple but fresh and satisfying. And the french fries with their homemade ketchup? Don't skip em. Service was smooth and friendly from start to finish. No complaints.
