10 out of 5 This is…read morethe best Asian restaurant in Vail and possibly Colorado. They have a huge menu from sushi to Thai but the stand outs are their Chinese dishes. If you want authentic Szechuan this is the place! What we got: - Wonton soup - homemade dumplings had a good ginger and garlic flavor. Big enough for two as an app. - Double cooked pork - absolutely outstanding. Big portion with vegetables, fermented black beans, so good! - Spicy crispy fish - highly recommend this if you like spicy food. I love this dish whether the chicken or fish variations and this might have been the best I've had! I can't say enough about the Chinese food. We were blown away with how good they were. Our server Patrick was incredible. He was so friendly and welcoming. He's a serious skier and you can often find him backpacking 30+ pounds of cooking gear to make fresh food slope side! We have tried many places in Vail and I highly, highly, highly recommend this place. The interior is small so I recommend making a reservation. Pro tip: it's BYOB so bring a bottle of wine or a few beers!

I had the Tuesday Special: light corn soup, dumpling, Thai noodles, and Red Curry (chicken) with white rice. All was delicious and terrific value at $15, including tax. Service was more formal than I prefer: no greetings, no inquiries about the food, and no thanks for visiting.

The coconut rice upgrade was also really sweet and not what I had expected since it came with coconut sauce poured on top of jasmine rice. The other curries that the rest of my party got were also on the sweeter end, so you may want to pass on the curries here if you don't like sweet thai curries. Kua Gai - best dish, nice flavor with a breadth of wok taste. Highly recommend this. Chicken Satay - a bit dry and underwhelming. Wish it had more of a satay taste, and the sauce was okay and on the sweeter end again. Thai Ice Tea - pretty decent, sweet. Service was a little slow but they were nice. Restaurant was full when we queued on a Saturday night and we waited about 10 minutes for a table. All the curries our party got were overly sweet, so I'd recommend something else personally.
