10 out of 5 This is the best Asian restaurant in Vail and possibly Colorado. They have a huge menu from sushi to Thai but the stand outs are their Chinese dishes. If you want authentic Szechuan this is the place! What we got: - Wonton soup - homemade dumplings had a good ginger and garlic flavor. Big enough for two as an app. - Double cooked pork - absolutely outstanding. Big portion with vegetables, fermented black beans, so good! - Spicy crispy fish - highly recommend this if you like spicy food. I love this dish whether the chicken or fish variations and this might have been the best I've had! I can't say enough about the Chinese food. We were blown away with how good they were. Our server Patrick was incredible. He was so friendly and welcoming. He's a serious skier and you can often find him backpacking 30+ pounds of cooking gear to make fresh food slope side! We have tried many places in Vail and I highly, highly, highly recommend this place. The interior is small so I recommend making a reservation. Pro tip: it's BYOB so bring a bottle of wine or a few beers! read more

We came here for dinner on a Tuesday evening. They were very busy and it took a little for someone to seat us at a table. They warned us that there would be a long wait for food and when we asked how long they said ~30 minutes. We thought that was a very normal time and were thankful they warned us. The menu has a wide variety of dishes. I ordered the thai basil with chicken. The portion was very large. The meal had good flavors and I was able to take some home for extras. The prices were above average but that is what we expected at vail. The table was a little dirty but the waiter was very kind and attentive even though he was very busy. The food was amazing! We stopped in to eat dinner and the place is small and the cook was also our waiter, probably the owner as well. He was nice and attentive and made sure we loved our meal! It's the very end of ski season so they had a limited menu as well. With this said, it was so delicious! We plan on coming back and ordering takeout for the whole family. Unfortunately at lunch time, we weren't able to order any sushi or sashimi until after 4:30. Pad see ew Wide thin noodles with some sweetness, good portion size. Flavor was a tinge on the sour side and spice level too low. Beef noodle soup Hearty garlicky broth in a extra large bowl. I didn't like how the noodles were pasty though. The beef is jerky-like with a fair amount of tendon included (which I actually like). Spicy crispy fish Too low of a meat-to-batter ratio. Lots of spice and flavors though. Red curry vegetable Coconut milky with an assortment of veggies including carrots, zucchini, tofu and mushrooms. Chicken and beef Again good portion sized but also over sauced with glutinous gravy. So delicious! The server was very kind and helped me pick my dish. I asked for the chili oil dish to be made traditionally and spicy, which did not disappoint. So good! The pad Thai and sushi rolls were also good and I'm happy to have found good Asian food in Vail. Sitting on the patio was great to breathe in all the mountain air and was close to our hotel. Stopped in today with some friends for a quick bite of sushi while in town that wasn't extremely overpriced. The guys there were super nice and everything was good. We were the only people in there so it was pretty quiet. I ordered a miso soup and vegetable gyoza dumplings for a starter. The dumplings were delicious and green in color which I thought was interesting. Then I just had a simple eel avocado roll but it was executed very well and the flavors were nice. My friend got one of the specialty rolls and it was delicious (I can't remember the name). I will definitely be stopping back in for a quick bite of sushi again! read more

Focusing mainly on the Thai food here because that was most of our take out order....It was so horrible. Honestly the worst Thai food I have ever had. We ordered a Red Curry, Pad See Ew, mango sticky rice, edamame, and Tom Kha soup. The red curry which we ordered medium spice was soo bland. Not sure how or why. You can basically buy a decent-ish red curry paste anywhere. It's really easy to make. Somehow it had no flavor...maybe the Aspen palette swings very bland? The Pad see ew was also pretty gross. The noodles were very tough and also had no flavor. Basically inedible. The mango sticky rice was truly disgusting. I'm guessing whomever made this has never tried this dish properly. On a positive note people that ordered sushi seemed pretty happy about and said it was solid. People at the counter were nice and pleasant. A large group of us were staying at the Highland doubletree hotel and wanted something delivered and these guys were AMAZING!! You are able to order on their website and that was easy! We order for about 10 people and they did great! It did not take a super long time for the order to be completed and delivered. (Under an hour) They also threw in some extras for us to try which was incredibly sweet! The food was incredible! We had people from all over the US with us and we all agreed it was some of the best Thai food we had tried! The portions are also awesome! We did takeout as this is not really a good sit down place. For those looking for good Thai or sushi - pass on this place. This place is probably a great Chinese restaurant but not good at Thai or sushi. The sushi seemed like grocery store sushi and the Thai was not authentic. They did not even have Thai spices to spice it up, just chili oil. The entree was so salty that we ended up just tossing it. Terrible management ruins the night. Kitchen severely understaffed with over an hour wait time to get seated. Staff failed to communicate and fulfill 3 takeout orders as we witnessed frustrated customers walking out of the door as they had waited over an hour and 45 mins to be told kitchen lost the order. Manager exhibited power play and reprimanded his staff from seating crowds onto any of 3 empty tables. Overall a disappointing experience that is not worth the time and money. Aside from the name, this place serves authentic Chinese Szechuan style food. The chef came from Shandong to cook in Vail of all places and I am thankful he setup shop right in Lionshead village near my hotel within walking distance. The place is a little small but all the employees are friendly and they do takeout. Wonton soup is amazing, malayu (spicy fish dish) is delish, kungpao chicken has spicy peppers that taste great and give you a nice after burn. I took his rec and it was easily the best Hunan pork I have eaten beautifully presented and full of flavor. My wife wanted Thai and ordered Green curry, our favorite and it did not disappoint. This is a small restaurant with incredible food and service. They have sushi, Thai and Szechuan. We tried it all. The staff treated us like family. They were attentive to our needs before we even asked for anything. They made suggestions when requested and were very happy and joyful. We forgot to take pictures before we devoured it. The crispy chicken was delicious and crispy yet tender inside. It was spicy but we like spicy. We tried sushi rolls and sashimi. They were fresh and flavorful! The rice was perfectly sticky. We also had a Thai ginger dish that was not spicy but was full of veggies and delicious. They are on the bus stop so they are easy to get to if you take the bus. We had dinner there yesterday. At first, we had a problem finding the restaurant. We got there and were in doubt about whether we should go in or not since it was empty and looked dirty. (doors at the entrance of the shopping mall). The menus were confusing. But the waiter helped us. We order the Shrimp Pad Thai, Kung Paw Beef, Kung Paw chicken, and some sushi rolls.
