Little pieces. Liteally of all shapes and sizes for the kids were so over done and tough they were not edible even for kids. For the price I want it done right. When you walk into that place, it's aesthetically nice to look at. I'm traveling by myself once again, so I sat at the bar. I'm not drinking at the moment so the water was good and the service was good, but I can't say anything good about my dinner the chicken was crispy and dry, but it was hot. The only thing hot on the plate. I exchanged mashed potatoes for the risotto and they were served cold. The vegetable was serve cold, and the onions would look warm the bread that they served before the dinner was gluten-free very thin excellent along with the little bit of spread that they gave you with it, but I wasn't impressed with the food. I like my food hot all of it if I'm getting dinner unless specifically told that it should be cold so with that said I should've stuck with my first choice across the street would say also own. read more

We had another great meal at Wild Sage in Eagle Colorado last night. Starting with Great drinks, (hers an exotic alcohol beverage with Elderflowers, Gin etc., mine a cucumber, lime, etc drink from a long list of delicious Mocktails). Then we had a delicious complimentary appetizer of Dahl with papadon, followed by delicious fresh oysters. She had a very tasty spicy cauliflower dish. I had delicious cucumber gazpacho, a very nice avocado tomatoe salad with mash potatoes. We ended with a lemon crème brûlée with blueberry compote on the side. The whole meal was filled with taste bud explosions and the presentations were beautiful. One of the greatest meals at one of our favorite restaurants. Go there for a romantic and delicious dinner you won't forget. Absolutely wonderful. We're currently camping a bit outside of Eagle and weren't planning to have to come into town. Not expecting much, I typed "healthy" into the search and we were blown away by how great everything at Wild Sage was. The prices are what I would expect to spend for dinner in the mountains. I was not expecting such good deals on Happy Hour items, though! The oysters and chicken wings we ordered for starters were our favorite parts of the whole meal. So many of the entrees looked amazing, I wish we'd tried more. The atmosphere is lovely - sophisticated while still feeling welcoming. Great food options for kids. The staff was attentive and helpful, and kind towards our small children even after a drink spill (shout out to Lilly!). I can't wait to come back and try more. read more

I was in Eagle from Denver for a short stay for my birthday. Two different friends suggested I visit Wild Sage for my birthday dinner. The ambiance was nice. Our wait person was good. We had a cocktail and started with a cheese plate which was delicious. We ordered and received our main dishes. I ordered the chicken and my partner ordered the brisket bibimbap. The non-meat items in our dishes were great (although the tough, fiberous ends of the asparagus were left on); however, the meat in each of our dishes was dry and tough. My partners dish came with a fried egg and it was scorched on the bottom and so rubbery she had to cut it with a knife. We spoke to the wait person who sent over what I assume was a manager. I think four different people on the wait staff, not because we asked but because various people approached our table. One said it was because they were training a new chef. One said it was because these were newer dishes they were trying out. The wait staff were all polite. They offered to give us another round of drinks but we were driving. They then offered a free dessert ($11). They offered to remake the dishes but I wasn't convinced they wouldn't be just the same. We did end up accepting the dessert but I was surprised they didn't at least offer to comp our single round of drinks as well, or comp one of the two main dishes (one was $35 and the other $43). While the staff was very nice and the cheese tray was good, this was a fairly disappointing experience considering the cost of the bill. I don't think we'll be return customers when we visit Eagle again. You may have better luck with their vegetarian dishes. read more

If you're looking for something healthy... this is the spot. We stopped in for lunch and it was a great place to sit down and catch up. It is on the higher end price side though so be warned. I tried the kids meal chicken tenders with parm fries and it was delicious! You get a great size portion for the cost so well worth it. My boyfriend had the truffle burger and it was great too but we honestly could have split it due to the size. A great spot to try! read more

I've been eagerly awaiting Wild Sage to open. Went for the first time 2 weeks ago. This is exactly the type of restaurant we needed in Eagle! I always struggle with places to bring my out of town foodie friends when they visit. I now have my go-to! The ambiance is bright and lively without being too overwhelming. The menu is amazing! However, the teriyaki steak bowl had little to no vegetables, the "signature" buddha bowl was drowned in a sauce and almost inedible, and a $40 Cobia dinner was very over cooked with soggy risotto.
